Everyone is lovely, and the work they do is fast and priced fair. I've been here twice in the span of two weeks (separate issues) for my work truck and both times I've left with a smile on my face. Many, many thanks to everyone who works here! Also, they have a shop dog!

If you have any problem with your car, take it to this place first. I had the best experience with them, compared to other 5 auto shops. They are honest with their work (you can literally watch him work on your car), they have the best price and they even gave us a ride back home because we had to wait a little while.Please go support them.

The absolute worst situation I ve ever been in. Took my Tahoe to this shop because my friends dad worked her and he spoke highly of the work. Transmission was about to fail and I got it there before breaking down on the road. I live out of town but worked close by. Well after nearly 3 months it was finally repaired. They blamed low staff and covid for the problem (ending of 2022) Didn t make a fuss, didn t ask for any discounts just paid for the remaining labor and went about my business.Unfortunately the newly installed transmission pump FAILED in less than 6 months and because it s under warranty and I didn t want to pay someone else for any entirely new transmission I returned the vehicle. This time I couldn t drive it to them. They didn t offer courtesy tow (not even a little percentage) because I live out of town so I pay 500 to get it back to him (Luke). Didn t start working on my truck (Yukon) for a least a month. Being that I have fully paid for a botched job should make my vehicle PRIORITY. Now here I am, nearly 3 months down the road, AGAIN. NO VEHICLE. Had to buy another vehicle since I travel for work. No call, no answer nothing. Heard he had a medical emergency and I get it things happen I am a nurse, but I ve received NO CALL, NO EMAIL, NO TEXT. Looks like I m going to have to sue someone to get my truck back. I m disgusted and couldn t gather how there are so many positive reviews. The cussing when they speak to customers didn t brother me. The somewhat passive aggressive nature also was not something that moved me to act a FOOL. But I m done holding my tongue. Done being professionally patient and polite. The amount of calm and patience I ve exuded is heavily nauseating. I WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTION AT THIS POINT.Services: Transmission, Transmission replacement, Transmission repair

Luke came highly recommended and his crew did not disappoint. Super quick service, friendly staff and down to earth folks. Repairs done that I could afford and make do repairs by his team until I could afford the rest. His wife was lovely enough to pick me up after my car repairs were done and he always has a treat in his hand for my 4 year old. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Great guys, got me in and out within 2 hours from when I first called.As a woman I usually avoid mechanics if I can, worried that they'll take advantage of my lack of knowledge, try to sell more services than are required or just be generally condescending. Definitely not the case with these dudes, they treated me with respect and I felt very comfortable. Super grateful I found this shop! Thank you to Luke and your team!Services: Tires, Tire rotations

We went here because they quoted $200 less than midas to change our tie rod. The workers were nice and it seemed like the owner was honest about what needed to be repaired right away and what could wait which I really appreciate. They don't do alignments but gave us a recommendation. Overall, it was a great experience.

Reviews are wrong. Service was terrible, walked in and no one was there to help. First thing I heard was all the employees cussing me out cause of where I was parked, when I had just come to get a quick estimate on lowering springs. Would ve parked somewhere else if there was parking, but there wasn t. Felt very uncomfortable with the amount of aggression and swearing going on in the shop towards where my car was parked, when they could ve just politely asked me to move and pointed me where to park. This place will never get my money.

Hands down best auto shop in Oklahoma, Luke the owner is very friendly, honest, and very knowledgeable. They performed a complete engine swap on my SUV and they did it on budget, on time, without ever skipping a beat. Excellent service. I have since taken the SUV to have the brakes replaced and received the same excellent service. These guys are great.Services: Engine repair, Brakes

I had an alternator issue. They did do the job last minute even though it took longer than the estimated time i was given.what i had an issue with was how unprofessionalLuke and his wife Lidia are as buisness owners. They have no customer service skills. I do not recommend this shop, I hope no one ever has to endure their Disrespectful attitude! They have no problem ridiculing their customers.

Luke and his team is awesome!!! I had a transmission replaced and he kept me informed from beginning to finish. Got it done quicker than expected. I would recommend A-1 to anyone that is in search of a reliable and honest mechanic. Job very well done. In this industry that's hard to find. I thank you so much!

Hands down the most reliable and most affordable mechanic. I've had two different major problems with my truck and Luke at A-1 has taken excellent care of me both times. Most recently he fixed my transmission, rear main seal, and more in less than 1 week... out of over 10 mechanics I called in the area, A-1 was the cheapest... The excellent and honest work is not a bad plus. Thanks A-1!

Wow, I m so thankful for Luke and his team! My car was not in good shape and they went above and beyond to make sure my car was safe and running again. I called them around 1 and they stayed till 7 to get my car done. Thank you so much guys!

This place is awesome! Spoke with Luke, the owner and explained my after-market alarm system on 1995 Camry was leaving me stranded. It was parked for three years cuz of this. He gave a quote over the phone. I had it towed over to his shop and two days later I got the call that it was ready! And he stayed within his quote. I had asked other mechanics in the past to take a look and either they didn't want to touch it or said it would cost more to fix than rhe car was worth. So glad I didn't listen cuz it runs like a charm and with gas prices so high, I can retire my Suburban for a while. Thank you A-1 Automotive. You guys rock!!

I brought my truck here to change rotters and all breaks but they only changed the front. It seems for them to do the job right you have to be a regular. Left my car overnight and the owner smoked not caring for others for third hand smoke, the place stank. Luke, the owner, was inpatient and made me feel like he was doing me a favor. I got charged $375. They forgot to bleed the breaks when I reminded him about this, he became defensive and wanted to charge me 20 dollars extra. I had high hopes for this place given the google reviews but this is a let down. I would not recommend this place to anyone. He yells and cusses at his employees. Go some where else. This place is not worthy.

I highly recommend A-1 Automotive.Backstory: I spent $250 at a very well known transmission shop in west Norman just for diagnostics. The kept my car for 2 days and they then quoted me upwards of $1300 just to fix my problem. Couldn t quite tell me what the problem was but that I had one and it was a BAD one. I wasn t buying it...Here I am today and I brought my car into A-1 and they pulled it in, not even 10 minutes later, they found the problem. One of my coils was UNPLUGGED, that s it. They plugged it back in and now my car is running like a dream!Luke is very knowledgeable and has great stories! 10/10 take your vehicle there!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning

Luke is fantastic. I've taken my car to him several times over the years. Pricing is good and he's always very upfront with you. On a few occasions he's told he could fix something properly at X price, but then explains a cheaper alternative. He makes less money here, but he he's always honest and gives you those options.When I moved from north OKC I was worried about finding another stellar mechanic. After a few terrible or mediocre experiences, I was told to check out A1. Customer and friend of Luke ever sense. Good people here.

Excellent customer service was in and out no less than 3 hours on a 2010 Ford Expedition Tune-up, brake pads and brake rotors. I'm very surprised..I recommend this company ASAP for any type of Car care.

These guys are friendly, honest and dependable. Their wide range of knowledge and skill at auto repair is impressive. They are very efficient and prices are fair and honest. You can't find a better shop. They have done engine work, brake work, mechanical work and welding, etc. on my vehicles. This is the most honest and experienced mechanic shop i have encountered. They worked on a couple of my vehicles prior to the last vehicle i am about to talk about. I sent my truck in to be repaired after it quit on me. After hours and days of man hours of trying to resolve the issue, i was told that it couldn't be mechanical and had to do with electrical. The owner was a straight to the point kind of guy. He referred me to an electrical shop that he recommended, could probably get it fixed. Here is what amazed me though, i asked the owner how much i owed since i knew they had spent some much time working on it. He told me i didn't owe him a thing because he didn't fix it. I offered to pay for his time and he said no. I mean, what other mechanic have you encountered that will do this? I am going to be a lifetime customer at A-1 Automotive. Oh, and the electrical shop the owner referred me to was able to repair my vehicle after a week.

My transmission went out on a 5 day trip, quickest I could get on anywhere was 2 weeks wait. Luke squeezed me in and had me or the next day. I can't thank him or his great group of guys enough.

I walked into A-1 and I spoke to a wonderful lady named Lily, I explained what was going on and what I had been experiencing with my vehicle, she proceeded to tell me POSSIBLE problems that I may have been encountering. After taking a look at my issue, a nice gentleman named Luke explained what was going on and different ways or options of resolving the issue I had with my car. Every step of the way I was consulted and explained what would be going on and what I needed to fix the problem I had with my car. They were so helpful through the whole stressful process of getting a car fixed. They were so cordial and friendly that I will DEFINITELY be coming back for future issues!!

Very quick turn around, he had my car for only a couple of hours. A little bit more expensive than I'd hoped, but still quite reasonable. Within $100 of an internet estimate for the work done. He did push me to buy new breaks, but my breaks were very very bad, and I wasn't aware of that!! He did list some other things that needing fixing soon, but did not push me to fix those, saying they had life in them still. A little gruff, but seemed honest, and I will definitely pay a bit more for some honesty and good work. Parking there is terrifying though, be prepared. Would return!

From my first phone conversation, Luke was very up front giving me two estimates based on different issues that might need to be addressed with fixing my heater. Based on a previous diagnosis at a neighboring mechanic, I thought that the vent door actuator needed to be replaced. Instead of just replacing it and telling me he was done, he kept me updated on his progress and tried out multiple different solutions until he made it work. The actuator wasn't the problem, but the wiring of the panel. He charged a very fair price for the hours spent troubleshooting and repairing, and also saved me a bundle by repairing the existing panel instead of charging for a replacement. Honest, fair-priced and communicative, I'll be going back.

I take my car to Luke if anything goes wrong. Just went for the second time as my OTHER wheel bearing decided to go out. Luke fixed my first wheel bearing which is holding up very well and he fixed my second wheel bearing which is also holding up well.My parents have also used Luke for the first time and their car is running like new.Luke finishes in a timely manner and does the job right the first time.Definitely someone you can trust with your car.

They did work on my car. They were quick about getting to it and getting the work done. Good fair price. He didn t add on a bunch of extra stuff to fix just to get more money. They told me straight up what was wrong and have honest and fair business practices. When I need a mechanic again and am in that area I will use them.

Luke was very nice professional and knowledgeable.My mom needed her brakes checked bc of squealing and all her belts, etc. checked.He checked car over, sd in great shape except one side of front brake area--cracked. He replaced it, charge was very reasonable.Hard to find good honest mechanic; I believe Luke is one of the good guys. We will be giving him more business.

I would recommend this business to anyone who needs their vehicle service ,they are honest and very professional and even get you parts at a lower rate or you can buy it yourself, just understand that you need to get the warranty from the source you choose to use, which is fair. Also it doesn't matter which mechanic is working on your vehicle because they all work together as a team communicating as one .

A few months back (when the weather was still warm) my ac started acting up. I had taken it to a big name shop and was shocked at how they were trying to nickle and dime me...I decided to take it to Luke to get a second opinion and was amazed at how honest and up front he was. He was able to get my car in and out quickly and beat the competitions price. Luke amd A1 have lifetime customers...
