I've used Baker Automotive for several years now on several different vehicles. They are upfront about what work they will/will not or cannot do, they do not nickle and dime you to run up the bill, and they offer good warranties on their work. I've never had a job cost more than I expected. I have had several times where it was significantly cheaper than I expected. Great people. Honest people. Good, reliable work.

I called and explained I had a oil leak that I had taken to the dealership to fix, yet I still had a leak. Tommy got me in the next day and by the end of the business day it was fixed at a reasonable price. He was very friendly and a pleasure to work w. I will definitely be doing business w them again. So many shops put you off for weeks. I love finding businesses eager to work and treat their customers like they are important, after all we are what keeps their business running. Quick same day service even though the shop was very crowded. Repair cost exactly what I was quoted and even though I told them I probably needed rotors, they did pads and told me rotors were find. Thanks!!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Never open, and when they are there very short w u. They don't fix the whole problem. Then don't want to finish the job. I will never go here again.

Had my transmission replaced here. They got it in and out FAST. Truck is running perfect. Tommy was so nice. I will def be back and telling all my friends and family about this shop. Thank you Tommy!!

Y AC was blowing cold but was not blowing air. I had to shut 3 vents to get the 4th to blow in my face. I called Bakers and he told it was the in cabin filter. He then told me how to fix it myself. As soon as I pulled the old filter out the air flow went back to 100%.Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

Best mechanic Around Great guy Tommy is Honest and always gives you a heads up on mechanical work that needs to be done and pricing before hand which is always quit fair No surprise big bill at pickup Upstanding 5 star Automotive shop best in Newcastle in my opinion Won t use any other Mechanic as long as Bakers Automotive is in business

Tommy Baker is the most reasonable man that I've ever dealt with in automotive business he works with you he helps you in time of need anyone who says different is just not right he's honest Dependable if he can't do something he tells you and refer you to someone who might be able to help you

He killed one truck for me and charrge me severally for it..this time over charged plus warreted my parts to his account..plus im still tighting and hookin stuff up left undone..threw my exhaust back on where rattlin, and not seated to manifold..freakin out o2 sensers and makin a real hot ride n cab..wont go back

They don't know what they are doing . I paid them 1500 bucks because they didn't install a sensor correctly by not plugging it in I ended up having to pay for a new computer ignition could a tow, programming the computer at the ford dealership when it didn't start at the dealership I had pay for a diagnosis and it turned out baker auto didn't install the sensor correctly so I paid for the computer the ignition coils programming the computer the diagnosis at Ford for their negligence
