I do not recommend you bring your car here. I believe I was heavily overcharged for labor costs. Maybe I m wrong, is $750 in labor alone sound right for replacing an alternator? I asked about the cost and they said they go online and look at a website that tells them what it should be. There is a lack of transparency and ownership in this process. If the business aims to be more honest, they would charge labor at a set advertised rate by the hour and clearly write on a timesheet how long it took for them to do the repair and be able to provide the time sheet at close-out. Secondly, they offer a 3.5% cash discount but it s actually an up-charge. If it were a discount, they would quote you the full price and then take off 3.5% if you pay in cash. They do the opposite: quote the discount price and then up-charge you if you don t have thousands in cash in your pocket. My suggestion is that this business should seek honest pricing it may help out in the long run.

My car had no heat and I took it to McKenzie for repair. I was told that the heater core had been flushed three times and yet it still had no heat. I was annoyed because I spent money and still had no heat. I took it to another repair shop and they flushed it, and it worked perfectly. I was lied to by McKenzie because if they had flushed it then it would have worked.

Last time will ever bring my vehicle here. Rude receptionist had to bring my car back three times. Overcharged for what needed to be done. I was going here for 2 years never had any problems with them until now. After all the issues we had they couldn t even give us some type of discount. Extremely disappointing will not be returning.

They sold my car without my permission and still have the title to my car and I never got a letter or nothing don't never take your car there

These guys were great. I had a new engine put in our car; these guys jumped on it and got it done, even before I expected it to be done. Bari was great explaining everything and made the whole process that much easier. They did and do, do excellent work I recommend going to them, the only negative I can come up with is that they are ALWAYS busy so be patient.

Very friendly and professional staff, these people know their stuff. Great service, reasonable prices and honest good work. In town for work, my company truck broke down and they took care of my emergency even when their shop was completely full, and had it ready the second day; The way they cared said a lot and therefore my honest review is more than deserved.Thank you team and keep it up!

We had great experiences with Lynn McKenzie Automotive. They recently got both of our cars back on the road. They were honest about their workload and worked with us to minimize the time we were without a vehicle. That limited our stress of being with one car when we are accustomed to having two.Our drop-off and pick-up experiences were delightful! Visits with Mr. McKenzie and everyone that worked on our cars gave us confidence in having our mechanical problems correctly diagnosed and repaired, and both of our cars are now purring down the roads better than ever!We are happy/relieved with the cost of services, and McKenzie's stands behind their work. If anything else does happen with one of our vehicles, it won't be what Lynn McKenzie's repaired, and we will use them again!I recommend.Thanks a ton!

Having to take a vehicle into a mechanic is always nerve wracking. When I was moving one of my vehicles wouldn't start. They came and picked up my truck and had it fixed within a week. I was expecting a relatively large bill but I was surprised on how affordable it was. They definitely did not try to oversell and make money off the fact I had no idea what was wrong with my truck. I definitely will return if needed in the future.

Integrity and honesty is the number one trait you can have when running a business, I took my car to Firestone to have an AC diagnostic test done because I had no air, report showed I had Freon in my car but my compressor kept failing, I bought my compressor and took it over to McKenzie because Firestone will not let you out on already bought parts, I was told by the receptionist, the tech said I had no Freon in my car and that the tech had to fill it back up which I had the report saying I had Freon in my car, and what needed to be done was an evac and recharge, I told them to not even work on my car I ll come pick it up, took it to the dealership and guess what?! Yes I had Freon in my car and they just had to replace the compressor, why lie about something I just had a diagnostic done on, and like I said the dealership! Told me my car had Freon, they did the evac and recharge and my car is good, my car take the new Freon the 1234yf which is expensive! Don t try to get over on people, I heard nothing but excellent things about McKenzie but that, can make you lose credibility

What can I say about our experience here? To start with, I warned my daughter to not bring her car here, but she did anyway. So today I brought her to pick up her car. The drivers' side door handle needed replaced, someone had damaged it in the parking lot at her job, while she was working a night shift. For some reason they did not order all the parts needed to fix it. That, according to the first mechanic, and then Mr. McKenzie himself, was somehow her fault? Strange, but true. Both the mechanic and the owner felt it was necessary to slam doors when she was explaining to them that she told them it was broke. So now we have to take it to another shop to finish the job.Now I will quickly explain why I told her to not take it to McKenzie. My father took his truck in for a break job. On his way home THEY STARTED SMOKING!!! They were locking up!!! I brought my car in because the emergency break light kept coming on. I had just bought the car, he told me it was because something had been spilled and caused it to be sticky and filthy. Fine, it was a used car I thought it was a reasonable explanation. I paid, took my car home, and less than a week later the break light was on again. Needless to say I did not take it back, and it still does that to this day.There was a time when Mckenzies' word was gold. We trusted him with all our repairs and never questioned the charges. Now, however, I wouldn''t recommend him to anyone I care about.On the up side, my daughter now knows that perhaps listening to someone who has experienced their negligence first hand is probably a good idea.

Honest staff and excellent work!! Took my vehicle in today with issues derived from the dealership incomplete services. McKenzie repaired what needed to be serviced and went beyond what was asked and/or expected, repaired another issue without no extreme extra cost, both services were still less in cost then the quoted Dealership cost!! Thx you , forever will be my maintenance team!

Brought my car in to have fixed and it still wasnt done after paying $1900 in which $100+ was just in the fees of using a debit/credit card in their shop. Left shop and check engine light came right back on 20 minutes later but they were closed. When I called them the next day they were going to charge me an additional $85 to have it diagnosed... it was supposed to be all done and taken care of the first time around. Will not recommend. Incomplete/poor service that was overpriced.

The car I had fixed does not get driven very much. Luckily and not so lucky before the warranty was up my car was doing the exact same thing. I had received a faulty part and returned my car to the shop and they fixed it with no arguing at all. I was impressed with that!!

I googled under black owned businesses which this clearly is not. Staff having lunch in the reception area, told me they were on lunch and we're not helpful at all

Courteous and efficient. Another body shop in town quoted me $850 to fix a faulty water pump on my truck. Mr. McKenzie and his team fixed it for half the price and in half the time.

Straight forward with issues. No unnecessary work suggestions. Very down to earth people. I highly suggest this business as they won't take advantage of you. Hardest part is them actually having an opening. Just shows the quality of their work with there repeat costumers.

A few months ago I destroyed my ring and pinion on my front dana 30 under my 2001 jeep Cherokee while offloading. After calling all around Lawton Oklahoma. I was referred to Lynn Mckenzie automotive as being the best and unfortunately one of two places in town that did diff work. I called them and asked if I dropped off my jeep if they could take a look at it, give me a quote and move forward from there. They said no problem but he just had to look at two vehicles then would get to mine. I agreed and had it towed there. Fast forward two weeks. He only has 3 vehicles left in front of you. Fast forward another week. Hasn't got to it yet. Fast forward another week. He'll look at it tomorrow. Fast forward another week. I told them I was going to California on vacation and would be back in two weeks. Two weeks later. Yeah it's been crazy here. He'll get to it soon. Anyway, as you can see how this goes. A total of 84 days past with not even a quote. Now aside from it being available and on their property, things were stolen off and out of my jeepand no responsibility was taken by the shop. Bottom line. It's the only place I would recommend my worst enemy to.

This is the second car I have taken in for repairs. They are fast and honest.The price for the quality of work is outstanding. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this garage and their staff.Thank you

Amazing people. Had my car in and out. Very reasonably priced and great quality service. I won't be taking my cars anywhere else from now on. Even have their own tow service.

If I could put a negative star I would put negative 5. Horrible business I have EVER RAN ACROSS. DON'T do it. Don't have enough time to tell you ALL about it. And did not fix my car after 10 days

Friendly and informative, didn't speak to me like I'm a dumb girl... Even though I am one. Found the problem, parts and quoted repairs quickly, had it done by the end of the day. Couldn't be more pleased... Thank you!

Lynn runs an honest, local automovoe shop. He is upfront and quick with repairs.
