My daughter reserved a room for her BF that was gonna be in town for about a week. She reserved for 8 nights gets. The evening she was pick him up from OKC at airport she went to check in. Unfortunately she had left her ID at my house. The man working ask a lot of questions that did not pertain to renting a motel room!! He was rude to her. After picking up her ID from my house this individual would not rent her the room! He stated her ID didn t look real because of her hair length and color!!! She paid nearly $300 which has been taken out of her account!! They refused her refund. Told her to go through the website. Since when do they take the money before check in? I would not use this place!! We have great Motel owners in this town. Go somewhere else!! I need to add one more thing. She reserved a room on 10/26/23 for 11/1/23 through 8 nights. The motel withdrew $312.00 from her account on 10/27/23 the amount for the entire stay without a check-in!! When she went to check in this evening he first wanted to charge her an additional $300 for a SECURITY DEPOSIT!! Seriously? Then all of the above happened. I read other reviews the same thing happened!! This has to stop!!

I ve never been so rageful about a manager but the manager here takes the cake. We booked the room through wego traveled hours to get here and the scumbag attending said he had our confirmation and payment but wouldn t give us a room at that price. What an absolute waste of time. Dude shouldn t be clipping his own toenails let alone run a hotel. I ll send the booking info to the email provided.

Spotless room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Heater worked well. TV choices good. Sparse, but what else do you need for an overnight during a coast-to-coast road trip? Jose, the evening manager was very helpful and courteous. Check that the hot water is turned on when you arrive; when it is, it is fabulous :)There was room to park two RVs in the parking area without infringing on other patrons, but this may depend on the day you arrive, so I would suggest you ask in advance if this is important for you.Great stay, would visit again!

This place was what I expected for 46$, it was clean and the check in women was very kind. The place looks abandoned when you first pull in because the office you check in at is actually at the hotel next to it. The room was super dark and the hot water took a very very long time to get warm, never got hot but overall was fine for the price.

08/11/2023 UPDATE.... TERRIBLE SERVICE!We made a reservation for four nights, booked online (through the corporate website). The owner wouldn't accept the rate. We were on the phone with OYO, who said they would take care of it... Nope.... Had to pay again, MORE! Another family member booked through priceline, same situation... the owner wouldn't accept the rate.Mind you, we have booked this place many times, never had an issue!LAST TIME STAYING HERE! We have traveled fir the past 11 months (mainly in Europe). Came to Oklahoma to visit family and stayed here in Elk City at the OYO for two nights. The check-in is at the adjoining hotel (Executive Suites, I believe owned and operated by the same owner),. Our room 105, was very clean and looks like it had been partially renovated/updated, as the shower and toilet were brand new). Oh and the king bed was fabulous and new!.Just a few reminders, no hairdryer, refrigerator or microwave, also if you want daily housekeeping let the front desk know in advance. We will be back in a couple of weeks, so if anything has changed, I will let everyone know!!

I would give this place a 4.5 instead of 4 stars if I could. The gentleman that helped us was very accommodating putting my kids' double queen room next to our king suite. I don't think any of their rooms would fit all 6 of us, so we split up into two rooms. Fortunately, the rooms were inexpensive enough that it was still very affordable. The rooms were clean, as advertised. The king suite was especially nice and spacious. I was even pleasantly surprised to find a mini-fridge and microwave in each room which wasn't advertised. The reason I didn't give it a 5-star is that the double-queen room where my kids slept was recently painted and their was a slight odor, also the king bed was slightly firmer than my husband would have liked (but it didn't bother me).The hotel looked like a renovated previous Route 66 place. It was minutes off of I-40 and was easy to find and also get back on the highway the next morning.Overall, I would recommend this place if you want a clean, affordable place for your travels.

Stayed on Sunday, 7/18.Room was renovated, large and clean. Smelled of antiseptic.Bed was comfortable.Shower spacious, but lacked hot water...and the color coding indicator was reversed....Heating/Cooling unit looked new and worked perfectly. The property is under construction and normal, expected, amenities are scarce. No desk chair. No clock. No mini fridge. No ice machine. No on site personnel.Had to go next door to check in. Check in was courteous & efficient. When I went back the next morning, 7:30am, nobody in the office.Price was fair but it would have helped to know what was lacking.Fred's Steakhouse is close by and worth a visit. Baum's ice Cream and market are across the street.

Location is off the beaten path. Rooms were basic with furniture from the 50s and the beds looked old and battered but I slept fine. No refrigerator, no laundry bag. Bugs were big and many. Service was almost non existent. The office was locked during normal hours upon arrival. We had to call three times upon arrival to get checked in. The room keys were overflowing the return box on the outside of the office entry - both when we arrived and when we checked out. We could have selected a key and spent the night for free if we were that brave. Check out was the same - no one around. We wanted our final bill before we left so we kept calling until the office finally (and reluctantly) opened the door. I left my shaving bag in the room so I called to make arrangements to get it back. The clerk explained that this company doesn't have a way to return your items. I was shocked at this response and pressed him more. Jose finally agreed to mail it to my home address. It took almost a month to get my shaving kit back. OYO should have an easy process to get items left behind shipped back to us.

Let me start off by saying it is a cheap hotel, and I did not have high expectations. I was on a cross-country drive and just needed a bed for the night. Nevertheless...This would generally be considered a no-frills hotel, but Oyo in Elk City is even less than that. In fact, the frills are in the negatives. You have to provide your own frills to get into no-frills territory. There was no mini-fridge. There was no microwave. There was no hand soap. There was hair on the wall of the shower. I get that it's a cheap hotel, that's what I needed, but these things are extremely basic provisions. For not much more money, you can stay at a more established hotel and know you'll at least be able to heat up some food.To me, the kicker was the custom embroidered Oyo throw pillow and decorative cover at the end of the bed. Odd priorities to say the least.

Great location, clean rooms, fast wifiUpdate 8/11/23I booked a room for 4 nights on the official OYO app. The room was paid for via the app. Hotel clerk refused to honor the rate I was given. Another family member booked another room and paid on another travel site, they were refused the rate. 1+ hour later, Oyo corporate did not resolve the issue. The hotel would only allow me to check in at a higher rate, and would not accept the payment already made via the Oyo App. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional by the hotel staff. I have stayed here multiple times over the last 3 years. I will look elsewhere on my next visit. Beware of this if you booked online!

This is a very basic hotel. It is clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. The thing that makes me write this review is that I left $100 cash at the hotel. I realized when I was over 40 miles into my drive and called the hotel. They actually located my money and mailed it to me. They could ve so easily pocketed the money and said they never found it. Or, said they sent it and it got lost in the mail. They didn t. They returned $100 bill that I left. This was worth a review. It s not the Hyatt. It s not priced like the Hyatt. It s comfortable. The staff is honest. Everything I needed at that time.

Place looked abandoned when we pulled in. A sign on the Lobby door said to check in at the motel next door. So, we checked in thinking we were going to stay at that motel but the clerk said no, it was for this one. We immediately cancelled our reservation andchecked in at the one next door.

A phone and real cable tv would have been nice. Streaming television is nice but not a good substitute for local broadcast tv.Outside temps were in the low 30s when I arrived. The room was so cold it took hours before I could take off my coat. Having the heat turned on in prep for my arrival would have been great.

Nice big clean rooms. Super comfortable beds. Excellent and kind customer service. This room has no extra bells and whistles (fridge, hair dryer, garbage cans, or microwave) but for the price and the quick stay, I didn't mind a bit. There was no ice machine readily available which is the only negative thing I can say was bothersome. I travel often and wouldn't hesitate stopping at this Oyo again.

I booked ahead online and got a liner deal for 28 for a night after taxes. I arrived at 1430 and was met by I'd assume the manager outside and he told to check in at 1530 or there was a $20+ early check in fee. Plus a $100 deposit, which was not on the agreement for the booking rental. I came back right at 1530 and showed the gentleman the booking agreement for the hotel and he said "we'll you have paid already, your room is ready and I'll have to get this issue resolved." The room was clean, they had a larger than 32" TV with roku and a very comfy king bed. The only down side is I'm 5'10 and the shower was made for a 5'0 person. The shower head came up to my collar bone. That wad the only down side. The staff wad friendly and very courteous. Professional and well ran. My room looked like the stock photos

I stopped by the OYO motel in Elk City as I was traveling cross country. We walked into our room and minutes later walked right back out. The room was infested with bed bugs. There were so many of them that I found some crawling on the bathroom floor and sink counter. There were used towels on the floor and sink as well, the minute we moved them we found more bugs. I tried bringing the issue to management's attention. He followed me back to the room to "investigate" the issue. Every time I'd point one out he would squish it with his finger saying "show me the bugs. I don't see no bugs." It got even worse when I asked for a refund. He flat out refused, though we'd only been there for less than a few minutes. Anyone looking to avoid bringing these critters home with you should avoid this motel like the plague.

Jose and Maria were super nice and the room was nice and very clean. My only issue is the TV only had roku no local channels or cable. This was very disappointing and makes no sense at all. Would have been 5 stars if it were not for the TV.

It's a great place for the price. ITS CLEAN! No frills, older but updated, and it's clean! We saw 1 cricket, that's it, no spiders. You can't get much better than that. Will we stay again, yes.

I booked a room at a different hotel in the area to begin with. After 15 hours of driving I get in the other hotels room and discover bed bugs. Exhausted I call Executive Inn and not only were they understanding about what happened they let me look in their room before check in for peice of mind. Executive Inns owners provided excellent customer service and went above and beyong for a weary traveler. Their rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. I highly reccomend this hotel to anyone.
