Purchased a rebuilt Sprinter transmission August 2021. Bob in tech support was great and has been fantastic after the sale when asking about a transmission cooler. The transmission looked great and runs like new. They beef them up so they are stronger then new. I would definitely recommend them!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Very very rude. I own two cars one Volkswagen and one and Mercedes she hung up on me before I even got to ask about my Mercedes. I inquired about my Volkswagen and was informed they did not work on those wagons and did not permit me to continue with my sentence. Immediately hung up on me and then when I called back her first time and she answered the phone with did you not understand what I was telling you. I had to be very aggressive and tell her I was an inquiring about my other vehicle. She kept saying we do not work on vehicles other than Mercedes I did try to tell her I was trying to get the transmission fluid changed on my Mercedes and she was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I can t imagine what Would have happened if they had actually worked on my car and I had an issue. I don t know about the mechanics but very very poor customer service

I have never used this business and after my experience, I never will. My fiance had a job interview at a business next door. She was not paying enough attention and accidentally parked in the parking lot for Silver Star. Ever make an honest mistake? The owner came out, yanked her car door open and proceeded to harass her for her mistake, threatening to tow her car. She was willing to comply as soon as he moved his truck which he had blocked her in with.How would any normal adult handle the situation? They would knock on the window and politely ask the driver to move their vehicle.The next day I went by to speak to the owner. I made it clear why I was there and that I had no intention to intimidate or making threats. My polite conversation was met with threats of physical harm and insults toward my fiance and myself. He even threatened to shoot me.I do not recommend doing business with this individual.

After 2 years and 40k miles, my transmission lost a bearing (happens on occasion). They honored the 100k 3 year warranty and sent me a rebuilt unit.

Bought a transmission in for my sprinter. Had it installed and within the first drive home, noticed a horrible vibrating sound when coasting and a high pitched whining when coming to a stop. I let them know within 1000 miles of purchasing it, that it s defective. Horrible job rebuilding the trans met with little to no empathy you agreed to the warranty . Paid $850 in labor for their mistakes. Should have listened to everybody telling me to go elsewhere, I got what I paid for, a cheap rebuilt trans. Do it once, do it right

We purchased a transmission from these folks in November 2016 and it developed a fluid leak a few days after the customer picked it up. The leak was from the selector shaft seal and the response from this company was they would supply a new seal, but we were on our own.When we worked on it we found the seal was fine, but the housing had a deep gouge in it which looked as though it had been made by using a screwdriver to pry out the old seal. So the transmission case was damaged probably while being rebuilt. With some JB weld and 4-5 hours labor, we got the problem fixed. While we understand what "parts only" means, negligent workmanship is another matter. We sent them a detailed email with close up photos of the damage. Our email was treated with silent contempt, no response. This company has very poor business ethics and we suggest prospective customers make another choice.

Just a bunch of scam artists. Bought one of their transmissions because they were advertising 3 year/100,000 mile warranty with it when mine broke. When the transmission from them developed problems under their advertised period they refused to pay for the repairs performed by a dealer on the broken transmission. It is also about to fall apart completely according to the tech that worked on it based on the amount and type of metal shavings in the oil.

I accidentally parked in their parking lot trying to go to the business next door and just got screamed at that I was in the wrong parking lot and needed to move car. Sorry I'm unsure of where I'm going, but there was no need to be rude.

Great family business
