I first brought my 86 to Misfire 2 years ago for a tune, and have since asked them to handle my oil changes as well as an oil cooler install and an upcoming Flex Fuel kit install. The team are always super friendly and communicative, on top of being very knowledgeable and willing to answers questions. Their mechanical skill is also top notch, never had an issue with their work. If you have a Subaru or a GT/GR86, there's no one better to take care of it.

You literally cannot find anyone better than the people at Misfire Motorsports! Very fair pricing and nice people! They took very good care of my baby when her clutch was going. Got me fixed up in a very timely manner, gave it an inspection, and even detailed it! When I say they go above and beyond for their customers, I'm not lying! Shawn and the guys are equally kind and fun people to just hang with and talk to! So next time your Subi becomes sick, there is only one car doctor that can take care and heal your baby and that's Misfire Motorsports!

I've been working with the Misfire Motorsports team since they opened, and they are the only people who I trust with both of my Subarus. From high performance engine building down to routine maintenance like oil changes, they handle it all. My parents own a Forester and Outback, and they too have them serviced here, with nothing but positive outcomes all around. Grateful to have this resource in our local area!

Wouldn t take my Subaru anywhere else. Have had numerous parts and maintenance done with Misfire. I drive almost an hour just for an oil change because of the trust I have with this team. They will forever have my business and the only ones who work on my car. Thanks Misfire team!

Always awesome service, they'll go above and beyond and make sure the customer is satisfied. They keep you informed throughout the process whether it be ordering parts or your vehicle is in the shop. Shawn, Grant, Ryne and Jackson all are wonderful to work with. Wouldn't bring my Subaru anywhere else!

Perfect Service, The best communication and clarity in the industry, and fantastic turn around time.The people and service at Misfire are by far the best experience I have ever had. Not only did they communicate with photos every single step of the way, they treated my STI better than anyone i have ever met (including myself). They say once you trust your car in their hands they take care of it as if it was there own. I have never more satisfied with a service than I have with Misfire. They do great work but I would suggest they work on communication with customers. They did great work on my sti. But when I was asking for help with my Evo they started off great but they never contacted me back with an appointment to bring my car in. So I had to go somewhere else to get my issue resolved. Again great shop i just didn't feel valued as a customer.

Shawn, Grant, and all the guys here have taken great care of my Subaru. They keep my 500+whp STi running flawlessly. They ve done everything from electrical, fuel, and tuning related with superb results every time. An owner that keeps up updated throughout the entire process without asking speaks for itself. Highly, highly recommend.

We brought in a 2014 WRX for an issue that hadn t been repaired after taking it to 3 other shops. One shop being a Subaru dealership that said our transmission was bad and our clutch was bad. Knowing this may have been misdiagnosed, we found Misfire Motorsports and they specialize in Subarus. I couldn t be more happy with our decision. Misfire completed their inspection and found the issue. Not a transmission or clutch issue. Repaired the issue in a timely manor, sent updates during the repair process, and called and emailed with the quotes. When I picked up our Subaru the issue was totally resolved. On my way down the road my AC decided to stop blowing cold air. So I called misfire. They told me turn around and come back. I did. Misfire serviced and repaired my AC in 30 minutes and sent me on my way. I couldn t be more happy. This is a real mechanics shop. No part replacement diagnostic. It s find the problem, Tell you what it is. And repair it at a fair price. PERIOD!! Misfire saved me a transmission and clutch replacement. Thanks again

Fair prices, great service, plus extremely knowledgeable and friendly people working here! I can't recommend this place enough if you need anything done to your Subaru. They don't take walk-ins because they're so busy so it can take some time to get on the schedule, but it's definitely worth it, and the work itself was done faster than expected. They also sent progress pics every step of the way which I very much appreciated. (2012 WRX)

If you have a Subaru, this should be your go to shop. They are the only ones I trust to fix and mod my 2018 WRX. They work on other manufacturers also, so give them a try you won't be disappointed. A+++ Knowledge, customer service, and skill.

I wouldn t take my 2023 WRX anywhere else. Very very knowledgeable with product and vehicle. Turn around was perfect and the explanation of everything added was great. I ll be using them for basic maintenance even.

I have owned my STI for around 5 years, I have taken it to many shops and either left feeling like I paid too much or "we don't work on that". So I'm very happy with my resent visit to Misfire, not only did they fixed my shifter in a short amount of time, but it was a fare price. I will defiantly be coming back, Thank you for making it easy.

I have been around the motorsports community, for the better parts of 20years. The knowledge these guys have on the EJ platform is immense. I just got my first STI not long ago, and the communication and knowledge of these guys on the build so far has been great!

The guys at Misfire Motorsports are very knowledgeable and professional. They were able to quickly diagnose and address some complicated issues with our two 10+ year old Foresters. They answered our questions and concerns, even days after the service. They really do stand behind their work! We trust them very much to keep our Subarus running another 10 years (or more). I m very happy we were referred to them, by another mechanic. That is a testament to how well respected their work is.

Shawn does amazing work. You can really tell his true passion for Subaru. I trust Misfire with any repair big or small. Excellent service and pricing for my 100,000 mile tune up. He goes above and beyond stated service. Will never go elsewhere. Also he has shop dogs and who doesnt love that?

I can't speak highly enough of Shawn and the rest of the Misfire Motorsports team. I reached out to Shawn about subtle symptoms of a head gasket leak that I was experiencing in my Forester XT. It turned out that the leak was the main outward symptom of a systemic lean-running condition that could have resulted in catastrophic engine failure had it not been caught early. Shawn identified the fuel pump as the root cause of the problem and conducted a top-end rebuild, fuel pump replacement, secondary air pump delete, timing components replacement, as well as other minor tweaks. Despite the COVID-19 lockdown, Shawn and his team worked continuously on the car to get it running like new again and provided me with extensive photos and updates throughout the process. They demonstrated very impressive attention to detail and even cleaned internal engine components, such as the pistons and cylinders. After the full repair and a custom Stage 2 tune by BW Tuning, the car performs better than it did when it was new and is fully ready for another 150,000 miles of adventure! I believe that Misfire Motorsports is the best Subaru workshop in the region, dealerships included. I will not hesitate to take my FXT to them in the future.

Such a great group of guys with awesome communication and knowledge. Had a 30k mile service done and a got an off the shelf tune with an accessport and my car has never been better. Took great care of me, will definitely be coming back!

I went in for service on our 2019 Cross trek. Performed a 30,000 mile service. Misfire did an outstanding job. Our cars transmission shifted better. I am glad I found them to do regular, routine maintenance. This was the car after a 1500 mile road trip. Cleaned up and ready to roll again. Thank you.

These guys are the best! They always go above and beyond and treat my car like it's one of their own. I'm very particular about my WRX and they are the one place I trust, whether its a simple oil change or an engine modification, I know my car is in good hands at MM.2 year update: Still the only shop allowed to touch my WRX! No matter the job, the work and customer service are always top notch. I feel so fortunate having these guys local, most people don't have a trustworthy shop to use. If you don't take your Subie to Misfire, you're absolutely nuts.

Went here multiple times. First impressions were absolutely amazing. Great team. Great work. That started to dwindle and disappear quite quickly. Communication also started amazing. First had suspension work done. Was completed promptly. I didn t care about my stock suspension so they kept it. I didn t ask about it either. Saved me the hassle. Then I came back another time for some larger projects. Again everything started off great. Then after that we started to run into some issues. They did not want to give me back my stock downpipe after ordering and having an aftermarket downpipe installed by them. I was advised that s just something they don t do. I also did not receive back any stock parts that were replaced by after market parts during that service as well. I was only offered my stock intake back. But they were to keep the rest. Was provided a base map tune and would return for a full turn at another time. Kept getting the we aren t ready for you yet. We will get you in. Then I see everyone post on social media that they are getting their tune done. But I still get the we aren t ready. I bring something up about that and I get a pretty upset call. Hey come in this day. I m moving everything for you so you better come in type of call. All in all it turned pretty sour. They made out with a ton of my stock parts. I didn t even want to argue and get my ECUTEK back from them. Couldn t get my stock downpipe back. And couldn t get my ECUTEK released by them to get tuned elsewhere. Luckily contacting ECUTEK directly, their customer service was able to release my car so that I can get it tuned another method. Money lost here but knowledge gained of who I have been working with.EDIT : In response to the reply - after discussing the invoices with you all I did in fact pay for the "base map" I had paid for my tune in advance in await for the new tune. But you could not send me off on my way without a base map due to the mods. I was instructed to stay out of boost and I did that for 2 months. That gave me time to think about more mods. Even after trusting your shop after keeping my parts ( which I did in fact ask for ) and please do educate me on the specific laws and regulations on keeping my stock downpipe. I have asked many different places, shops, techs, regular people, car people, no where I have heard of this. Nor have any others I spoke to have. I received a few communications on the FMIC upgrade in which I did not respond as you mentioned due to me finally realizing how shady things were with how business was being conducted towards me. It wasn't until I started pestering about getting a tune to actually drive the car that I was given a date to get it tuned. Meanwhile everyone is getting their car tuned at misfire. When my word received was it could not be done yet. And as of now misfire been paid for my ecutek unit. I didn't even bother to call to get back the money or the unit from how hostile you all sounded when I asked about receiving the serial to take it elsewhere. Then to mention my 30k service I had requested. I believe this service was forgotten until I was called to pick up the car. It wasn't even the fact that I couldn't get my car tuned. At the time the awd dyno was a new feature and needed to be setup still. That was ontop of waiting for the ecutek ROM to become available. I understand this very well. However I kept getting thrown around every excuse not to get tuned even though I am fine with having two custom tunes. Saying things weren't ready while everyone else is posting how they got tuned. Then when I asked about it I get a very hostile attitude sent my way. That made me not want to work with you all anymore and to continue my venture somewhere else. Not to mention how long it took to get my car back for that initial service. I understand delays happen, weather, personal, being busy, critical things come up, however from the promised delivery date I was unable to pick up my car until nearly two months after this first promised date. I paid for what I got, I want others to know my experience.

Their service and knowledge was amazing. I drove about 5 hours to have them do a pre-dyno inspection and then tuned by Ben West at BW Tuning a few doors down. During the inspection they found a clever way to bolt my cold air intake pipe to the mount, which I could never get to line up. They also installed a 3-port boost controller which looks great as well. This is the only place I will be taking my WRX to for any work I need done in the future.

Consistently the most friendly and thorough mechanic I've ever used. The work is top notch, they communicate with you via updates and pictures through the whole process of whatever work they might be doing on your Subaru. Mega bonus points for patience and understanding when I feel like I'm being an difficult customer and they're still always very easy going and willing to hear out whatever problems I'm paranoid my Outback may have developed since I saw them last. They also go above and beyond by giving your car a wash before you pick it up. They helped me out with a problem that i was having with my subaru. I also found out that they do all the routine maintenance that the dealership requires/suggests. I will be calling them first for any issues that I may have.
