The Mechanics and Staff at Dwain's Automotive deserve National Recognition. For the past year, they have been repairing all sorts of mistakes made by another auto repair shop in the area and FINALLY, my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD is running like new. I had heard good things about Dwain's Auto and really, they're one of the only repair shops (I went to four others) that use the right parts and do repairs correctly. And I've talked with other folks who had the same problems and sent them to Dwain's Auto, and their experience is the same EXCELLENT Service. The main guy there - Michael - is a Genius and he knows more about auto repair than anyone I've met in years. His wife, Alexis, does alot of stuff too, including ordering parts and making sure they are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and that they'll work perfectly in each and every vehicle. With the Michael and Alexis Team, and their FANTASTIC Mechanics, Dwain's Automotive Deserves a National Award. They are simply, THE BEST! Yay!!

Do you need you car repaired by an expert and by a store that won t cost you every penny? Than you need to call Dwain s Automotive! The extremely helpful staff and wonderful technicians will guide you through fixing your vehicle. They will not take advantage of you and sell you parts or services that you do not need. They will work extremely hard to get your vehicle back to you ASAP! Give them a call today if you need a repair or just a estimate.

They began diagnostics on my car instantly. They had to order some parts, but offered to take me home and pick me up when it was done. Who does that anymore?They show great care, Professionalism, It made me feel confident that I had picked the right place to bring my car.I will definitely use them again.

Excellent service from this business and its team of professionals. Had an underlying issue with my original car repair. They took the time to listen to me when I explained that something still wasn t right, and they found what was causing the additional issue. It had nothing to with their work, it was something totally different. Grateful they were able to find the issue with my car.

I appreciate them checking my son's vehicle and it felt like they were being honest. However the bill for the towing was a major rip off. 180.00 for a 6 mile tow to the shop seemed pretty steep. And then another 110.00 to move the vehicle from the bay to the lot is just a rip off plain and simple. They know the vehicle has to come out of the bag, so you don't have a choice. Won't use them again based on the tow company they partner with.

Dwain's the best automobile repair shop in Edmond. They are honest, timely, and reasonably priced. While they rarely make a mistake, they will quickly own the error and fix it free-of-charge. There is no place I trust more with the maintenance of my family's vehicles!

I have taken my vehicles here for 3 years. They are honest, fair, and quick. If there is an issue afterwards they always make it right.I Highly recommend them.

The best mechanic shop hands down! Michael is always thorough, knowledgeable and explains everything so well. I never feel like an inconvenience when I ask questions. If that isn t enough, his team is the fastest I ve ever experienced! 1-2 days at most and I have my car back better than ever! Our family has been going to him for YEARS and we won t go anywhere else! Highly recommend!

So I ll try to make this as short as possible. If your traveling through town & have car trouble DO NOT bring your vehicle here. You ll be in a hotel for 5 days waiting on a call that will never come. The lack of urgency & the SERIOUS lack of communication is a huge problem. You d think being a family run business they d have some empathy but there is none. They did a solid job of replacing parts that for all I know didn t even need to be replaced. We were driving from Colorado when our AC stopped working about an HR outside of Edmond. It s an older van & i am no mechanic but after sitting for a day or two and cooling off the AC worked again, I wouldn t say 100% but it worked idle or driving. But knowing I still had a day or two on the road ahead with my family of 5 including my 100lb dog I thought I better do the responsible thing and go get this checked. Needless to say $1800 later and almost TWO weeks later my AC still doesn t work. You can claim you needed more time all you want. If you couldn t figure it out by then I m just guessing you never would. So I m really leaving this review not to bash your business because y all are doing a great job of that yourselves. I m hoping more to just save some poor family the hassle of going through the same thing we did. Good riddance Service: Air conditioning

This is an unpaid, unsolicited review from a real customer. Alexis was friendly and kept me in the loop about costs. Michael kept me aware of what was being done. He was clear, concise, and honest about the job. He's proud of what he does and is confident in his work. There's a lot of people nowadays that interpret that as arrogance, but it was refreshing for me to see someone who believes in his work and actually knows his stuff. They know what they're doing. They do good solid work. They charge a fair price. They have integrity. Also - he did some courtesy jobs under the hood I didn't ask for, and he didn't charge for (I checked it out when I got home). Things like cleaning things up a bit - replacing small things here and there. I live pretty far away so Dwain's isn't my usual go-to in the event I can't fix it myself, but I'd absolutely support these guys in the future. For reference, this was a transmission valve body replacement.Service: Transmission repair

Several thousand dollars in repairs and the car runs worse than when we dropped it off. After replacing the valve cover two bolt holes were stripped out and oil was leaking on the manifold creating excessive smoke. When the car was returned for service he wants to hose me for several thousand more in repairs. Mike is full of excuses and blames current issues on mechanic who repaired the car over 5 years ago. Contends that issues from prior repairs were explained, not, and nothing was documented on the work order. Avoid this mechanic.

They are always fair and respectful. I once had an issue that 4 places in one month and not one could figure it out. Took it to Dwaines and they fixed it no problems. I trust my mechanic, and that is hard to come by these days.

My AC wasn t working and Dwain s squeezed me in the next day. I left the car and they dropped me off at my house. Got the AC fixed super quick. Fair pricing. Really enjoyed the experience. Just normal, pleasant people.

I will not take my car to any other mechanic. I've gotten to know the staff on a first name basis. They shoot you straight! They'll tell you what you need without adding a bunch of extras like some of the these others guys in town. They are always fair and respectful. I once had an issue that 4 places in one month and not one could figure it out. Took it to Dwaines and they fixed it no problems. NEVER-NEVER-NEVER-This shop won't get our business EVER again.The frontman (lacking qualities of a "service writer") Michael did NOT keep his word at ANY point throughout our "service" process. Micheal absolutely did NOT ask permission, discuss a confirmation or receive an agreement for the incomplete, *incompetent services performed at this time. ALL after assuring me, that he would let me know; 1)What the techs found as far as an engine oil and antifreeze coolant leak were concerned. 2)What would be required to repair the problem 3)An estimate of total costs (parts and labor). None of which, were talked about even though I tried to communicate with Micheal or anyone else at this shop. Michael was only interested in talking about how difficult his life was and the personal life of his technician. This shop is dark and the conditions for the mechanics are not good or safe. Our vehicle was towed in after a phone call explaining in detail the circumstances involving the engines fluids. This shop had our car for 3wks convincing me the appropriate repairs would be "no problem" all along the way. However, now that I am personally faced with actually solving this car's problem correctly, including a "dealer item only" part, of which purpose is: to run antifreeze from the t-stat to the oil cooler attached directly to the oil filter housing, (mostly located between the exhaust manifold and the engine block, under a heat shield) I don't see how the injured (one armed) tech (who should not have been expected to turn any wrenches at all) even managed to remove and replace this $100 part. Which by the way looks re-used (not replaced) I have also discovered the only fastener holding this part together is a bolt that has been missed. Stinky 'tude, showing zero consideration or cooperation. Obviously not even an amateur level of customer service.

My car suddenly broke down last week while on my way to pick up my daughter from school. I was very near Dwain s and happened to sputter and eventually coast into their parking lot. It was a God-send that I was so close.Alexis and Michael were very thorough and informative. I know that Michael s diagnosis was exhaustive, and the time to repair was stellar. The last thing I needed was car problems none of us do. But I feel fortunate to have met people I now trust. I highly recommend them.

I've been using them for a solid half a year to a year now and, I am truly happy with all the work they have performed on my 30 year old truck. They take there time! They do it right! I've had less issues with this shop then I've ever had at any other place. But if you don't have another vehicle your might have to find a ride. Great costumer service as well!
