WORK WELL DONE!!!!!I appreciate the honesty, the communication and the great work done on my car. I can honestly say I have found a trustworthy mechanic that won t try to rip you off like the previous one I took my car to. I recommend Automotive MD to anyone with any car issues, they are truly professionals. They are officially saved on my phone in case of future need.

I had some work done elsewhere on my 2012 Caprice 6.0L V8.That place no longer exists, Shelbykiller destroyed so many high end muscle cars through incompetence they were sued out of existence right after working on my car-oops.Three months after sk finished rebuilding my engine my car had some issues- the transmission was slipping and the engine was making strange noise.SO I CONTACTED AUTOMOTIVE MD AND EXPLAINED MY SITUATION WITH MY DECOMMISSIONED NJ COP CAR.In spite of being very busy, the proprietor at Automotive MD took the time to reassure me that although my car is unusual they can handle any work it might need.Not only that-They were actually working on one, at the time, and everyone with a Caprice PPV in the area trusts Automotive MD with their cars.Automotive MD made me feel like they were capable, and confident they can repair it.They explained their fee structure, and put me at ease.I had it towed & dropped it off there on Monday April 3rd.They called back within hours with a diagnosis.They said the transmission just needed to be flushed and tuned, AND The engine issue was because when the previous garage did the DoD delete etc, they had left the old parts in the engine & they were incompatible with the new lifters.It's like the previous repair shop never bothered to finish their work.If the transmission had not slipped I'd have been driving it, and those old parts could have entirely blown up the rebuilt engine!!!I'm feeling very blessed that the transmission slipped. From late October until April I have not driven it.If I had I'd probably have needed a whole new engine.I'm glad I took it to Automotive MD.Only 17,000 of these cars were imported into America for use in police fleets, and yet Automotive MD knew exactly what to do.In fact, they had just finished working on a 2014 Chevrolet Holden Caprice Police Pursuit Vehicle which was sitting outside their shop when my 2012 was dropped off. NICE NOW IT IS 1 month laterSO I am completing my review. Automotive MD took good care of my car.They retuned the transmission and flushed and filled it.They removed the old engine parts and put the correct parts in.I have now been driving it for a month since the repair and this car runs better than it had since I bought it!It shifts smoothly and the acceleration is phenomenal.The gas mileage has improved and there are no longer any strange noises.There are a few more things I need to have done and I totally trust AUTOMOTIVE MD to do that work right too!The price they quoted was what I paid, and I would recommend them to anyone.Sincerely,AndrewJohn B

Automotive MD is honest about what needs to be done to your car. Two years ago I was told by another auto shop we needed new brakes. We had heard good things about Automotive MD so we took our car there. Automotive MD told us we didn't need new brakes. Two years later my brakes felt soft, so we just took it in. Again, we didn't need new brakes, they just tightened up the rear brakes. It nice to take our car to someone who doesn't do unnecessary work. Thank you Automotive MD.

Just moved to Oklahoma and needed to find a performance shop for my 14 Mustang GT. Had a boss 302 intake installed and took it here to get it tuned. They did an awesome job and super friendly! Definitely coming back here for any performance modifications in the future!

I had a transmission shipped to their shop. They were awesome to deal with. Leading up to the install I had life problems happen and had to delay getting the car in to get their shop. They were very respectful and understanding. I loved how they were able to let me know about a problem I knew I had but because they had the transmission out it would save me thousands if they replaced the part while the transmission was out.Service: Transmission

Called to request a quote for radiator and ac condenser replacement as well as the bumper and grille. I was apparently talking with the owner which got snippy about the fact that he s not running a body shop, in which case the job can t be completed without removing the bumper and grill anyway. I m supplying all the parts but he continued to be rude and doesn t seem to want the business of care about any possible customer satisfaction.

Took my corvette there to diagnose and tune car. They were professional from day one on the phone, then when I dropped it off I expected to have the car down for weeks but they finished everything in a few days. I can t begin to explain how pleased I am with their service, but I know from now on they will be the only shop in OKC to touch my vehicles.

This review is long over due. Brought in my supercharged raptor with a blown head gasket. Although the total repair took a bit longer than either of us anticipated, Jeremy and Daniel communicated well throughout the process. Long story short, got the truck back with some upgrades and it's been nothing short of phenomenal since. Peace of mind is a great thing and their work speaks for itself. Dropped in because every place I had checked was really busy. Automotive MD was busy but offered to take a look at my vehicle this morning. They called me and informed me that there was no leak underneath my vehicle and that it was fine. Awesome job on their part. I just picked up my vehicle. So relieved. Overflowed my transmission fluid and gave me a estimate 4 times more than 3 different shops in Okc!! When I told him I didn t want all of that done. He called my car a pos. And said go somewhere else. So I did.

Didn t get to have the work done quite yet but I brought my 2016 expedition in today because of a coolant leak they found out it is my water pump that s leaking. Do to another financial issue I was not able to have the repairs done but will definitely be back. Daniel (the owner) was very helpful and understanding. The shop is also one of the only ones that will allow you to bring parts to them to install which for me helps tremendously. Like I said I ll 100% be back to get the repairs done for my expedition and my other two vehicles ASAP! This business is the best! This is the second time I have brought my vehicle here and the experience is always great! It s my second time taking my second car. First car they did an awesome job it was worth it. I had some problems with it so I fixed them. I took my second car not long ago because I trusted them, I did a dyno on it. I live 2 hours away from them. I left it 3 days because they wanted to test it out and to check it. I was 30 minutes away from home when my car started doing the same thing. I called them and told me to take it to a mechanic we re I am at, instead of telling me they would check it again and see what they did or is wrong. They lost my trust.Service: Auto engine tuning

These guys know how to properly diagnose problems. They seem to know vehicles, rather than just service guidebooks. Daniel and the guys at Automotive MD go above and beyond to take care of you and assure the repairs are done correctly. I went in for a tune as I bought the car with mods already and on the dyno they knew I wasn t making the power I should be so they went through the car and found a broken valve spring. They made sure to go through everything (entire valve train), spark plugs, etc. All said and done they car made great power and drives great. They even fixed my AC at no additional charge since it was an easy repair. I recently had a squeaking noise with my engine and wasn t sure what it was. I took it to another auto center who gave me an outrageous quote for part that wasn t needing replacement and didn t know the exact problem with the noise..I came to Automotive MD for a second opinion to look at the problem and they quickly found and fixed the problem, and made a quality repair for a good price.
