Was able to get my car in and out in less then a week for a new transmission. Kept me updated, great customer service and would recommend for the quality of work. One of those places you leave with confidence that you got a good price and ease of mind that the job was done right.

They were transparent about everything, fast, and several weeks after my repairs I can honestly say they did a good job. No issues. I ve had them rebuild my transmission, replace my transfer case, and they did a few other things that were needed in the process. The 2 major repairs were done on separate occasions a few months apart and both times they had my vehicle they got it taken care of quickly and properly. No complaints whatsoever.

They put a large dent in the front left fender while they had our truck for diagnoses. They offered to compensate and us for the damage and work our transmission problem too. We decided we needed to go somewhere else.

I bought a used car and brought it in to have the transmission and air conditioning checked. Richard and team did the checks and found there were no repairs needed to either system. They did find a leak in a oil filter housing. They gave me a quote for a transmission fluid change, and also for the oil filter housing replacement. When I picked up the car and went to pay, Richard said there was no charge for the free inspection service. I was expecting to pay for the inspection, so I was pleasantly surprised. This seems like a fair and honest repair shop, and I will be happy to take my vehicle in to them as needed.

Absolutely amazing service. Very trustworthy and thorough staff, (TJ). I will be returning and using them from now on. Easy financing when needed and a couple of options to choose from. They got two of my vehicles going.

Was told by my auto dealership that I needed a new or rebuilt transmission. It was going to be $4000 to $7000. I decided to take it to TJ at Aamco to get a second opinion. After evaluating my vehicle he said the transmission was operating as designed. He could very well have charged me for his time but this was all included in his complimentary inspection at no charge.Service: Transmission

I simply had a yellow check engine light that came on. No engine miss or hard to start or any other issues. I dropped it off on a weekend. TJ, the manager, called the following week and explained that the codes coming up on the scan were not conclusive and some troubleshooting would be necessary. I ok d the labor and received a call back after the troubleshooting .. a bad ECM. I authorized the repair, they replaced it, I picked it up, and my old reliable is back on the road. Light is off and I feel they handled my issue very professionally and at a fair price. Again, thank you for everything.Service: Electrical repair

Took more than 4 tries to get the transmission fixed. The first time the fixed it the thing blew up and had to be towed back. I had them do a few other things like the steering rack which is leaking as well. I don t know why I didn t qualify for some kind of discount for all the trips back i had to make. I had to leave my truck and go back home hundreds of miles and barrow a car to come back. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place.

I can not say enough about TJ and his crew. I had a very difficult project that I brought them. This was not a normal transmission fix, they worked tirelessly and got me squared away. Even stay late once it was done for me get my truck. I would highly recommend them for any work you need done.

This place follows the current trend of I want your car on my lot for 2 days before I will even look at it . I dont know if this is a side operation of renting my car out for 2 days or if repair shops really just love to have cars setting around . Seems scammy either way.

We took our vehicle in to AMMCO to have our transmission repaired. We got the car back and it seems to be running smoothly. We were able to get the car into the shop and a diagnosis quickly on the car. The pick up day for our car was pushed back a few times because a couple issues with our car popped up unexpectedly; but I appreciate the job being done right and completely. They were able to arrange for financing and after hours drop off and pick up, which was helpful since it s hard for us to get there during office hours. TJ was professional, honest, upfront, and helpful in his customer service and communication.Service: Transmission

Did a great job fixing our transmission. After fixing the transmission they took the time to make sure everything was working properly, and were able to work out all the bugs before sending the car back to us. Good customer service! TJ was the manager on duty and he was very genuine in conversation. I took my 03 ford pickup to them and they were very helpful in identifying and pinpointing the three items wrong with the vehicle and fixing them timely. They always provided me with a few options ranging from what is the least I could do to fix the problem, and therefore save the most money, to what the truck really needs to keep it sustainable in the long run. They worked timely and were always honest with the time frame for when the repairs would be completed.They cleared the issues I was having and I would recommend their services.

I went to AAMCO a few years ago to have the transmission rebuilt on the car I was driving at the time. I no longer have that car but the impression the staff made on me then is why I went back when the car I'm driving now needed repairs. The current staff there is very professional and courteous and the shop is always clean. They take the time to listen to your needs and they do a good job of explaining your options to find what works best for you.They used to do only transmission related repairs but now they do so much more. I use them whenever I can when it's something more complicated than a do-it-yourselfer can tackle. It's good to have a shop you can trust and feel confident when you leave that the repairs were done correctly and at an honest/fair price.

I want to get my rear differential rebuilt so I called to get a quote. They said they need to inspect it and I would have to pay for that. So I set up an appointment and they had all day and did not look at it. Long story short I guess they dont want my money. I'm willing to PAY to have my rear differential rebuilt if it needs it or not.

TJ and staff always have taken care of me. Last year I had my transmission rebuilt with Aamco. Recently, I stopped by to have my shift cable replaced. They gave me a fair price, and although it took a few days I was in good hands. This service was not covered under the transmission warranty which I understand. I have had several issues with my older vehicle during the years, and plan to bring both of my vehicles back to this location and never again to Firestone.

TJ and the team of mechanics were excellent! Great customer service! Honest and upfront. They inspected my transmission and checked it as okay, erasing the fault codes and also verified my need for new engine mounts - they completed that work and I had the car back in no time!

I own a heat and air company, and one of my service vans went out in June! Everywhere I called they were WEEKS out before a transmission project could be completed, but TJ at Aamco not only got started on it the next day, but had it done DAYS ahead of schedule! The way they prioritized my needs makes me and everyone I can tell about them a customer for life! Thanks TJ, you saved the day!

Excellent customer service and excellent work. Very honest and walked us through step by step before beginning work. They could have done far more work based on the computer reading but shared that when converters and O2 sensors are bad it can cause the transmission to also read bad. I appreciate the logical and staged approach to the repairs. I went in expecting to replace it all and didn t have to. They won 100% of my business in the future!

Aamco exceeded my expectations. I have a 1988 Grand Marquis and while 2 other shops could not fix the issues, nor tell me the main issues or have the equipment to read the codes, Aamco could do it all! TJ the manager was extremely communicative and never left me in the dark. It took them 5 days to rebuild my transmission, change heater core and radiator, along w a few other things. Not only that everything comes w a warranty and they actually double check their work before handing it off to the customer. Very impressed.Services: Transmission, Engine repair, Air conditioning

I always take my vehicles to aamco for any problems I ever need help with when it comes to them acting up. They've replaced my wife's transmission before with efficiency and promptneess and they always take great care of me and my truck every time I bring it in for an oil change. My favorite car place by far!

Excellent service highly recommend. I had a 2005 Nissan Titan that needed a new transmission and complete cooling system replaced. Tj and his staff were very friendly and up front about the cost and the time it would take to repair. They told me it would take about a week from the day I got it in to the shop and it took exactly 1 week for them to repair. Very competitive prices and great service. Thanks Aamco I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for repairs with a friendly and honest shop.

They were nice enough, but failed to follow through on what they promised. I brought my wife's car in to have it looked at in the morning and they assured me that they would have it diagnosed that day. I heard nothing all day so finally late in the afternoon I called them and they told me they hadn't even gotten to it. I came and picked up the car and took it to a place with better service. I understand shops get busy, but they shouldn't have promised they would get it done, and it shouldn't have taken me calling late in the day to find out it wouldn't be done.

Went to buy my wife a used car thinking it was an amazing deal. I brought it to TJ and asked him to have it inspected for any possible issues. After a thorough inspection he came back with some issues that I would not have realized until it was to late and I had major cost in repairs. Paying this company the $50 inpection saved me thousands of dollars it would have cost me had I jumped into buying the vehicle.I know if I ever buy a used car again, regardless of the miles. I am for sure bringing it to TJ for his inspection team to give me the review of what they find. Do not buy a used car without coming to see TJ and his team first.

I took my truck in to get the A/C checked. I knew there was a leak and I thought that AAMCO was going to be able to pin point where the leak was, instead they charged me $195 to tell me that it was a leak (which I already knew) and told me they had no definite picture where the leak was. I was under the impression that they were going to use the UV liquid in order to find that leak, instead according to my statement, they evacuate, recover and recharged it the A/C without knowing where the leak truly was. In order to know where the leak was it was essentially going to be a trial and error, replace the O-Ring and if its still leaking replace the entire line into the compressor which was going to cost me almost $500 dollars. Extremely unhappy.Service: A/C installation & repair

I'm a couple weeks late writing this, been having a lot of loooong work days lately.Those are work days I'd have missed if not for the great work of the folks at this Aamco. I could go on and on, but for the sake of anybody debating on if they should go here, I'm going to do bullet points.- I was 2 months past my year warranty for my transmission- Needed tc solenoid, the other solenoid that is located there with it, and a new pcm (essentially a computer)- the pcm for my truck is no longer produced, and after finding 2 dealerships (in 2 different states) that had the part, and being denied purchase of said part, they overnight ordered a better version, but charged the same price as the unavailable part, and waived shipping fee-Not convinced yet? Because my warranty had expired, but I had but very few miles on the truck, (I won't say what in particular they knocked off for me, as others may try to take advantage) they knocked almost 700 dollars off of my final total. So to say they honor their warranty is an understatement.- last, but certainly not least, When my truck was ready, I told them I wouldn't have a ride there for about 4 hours. So while they waited, they ran one last diagnostic (free) and found that the cap for my coolant resovoir was cracked and leaking. They replaced that for free too. Little things mean the world sometimes.So yes, I absolutely recommend taking your vehicle here. They also called me daily to give me the rundown of what was going on, even the first 2 days where, because they had several vehicles ahead of mine they didn't get to mine. Even those days they called to let me know, and give me an estimate of when mine would be up to bat, so to speak. That made a huge impression on me as well, I was never left wondering.5 stars all the way, quality, customer service, and they go the extra mile.Thank you to everyone there that had a hand in this, I more than appreciate it.- Nathan Samborski
