I called and spoke with Roberto Salas on behalf of a friend that had his jeep repaired at Salas Auto Repair 6 months ago. At that time there were issues with the clutch and the shifter/middle console was HOT to the touch. Roberto was told there were concerns about both issues. He dismissed that the shifter and middle console was over-heating. He replaced the clutch with a part he says he purchased (not OEM) from a local auto supply store after telling my friend that it was an OEM part. The part carries a 12 month warranty but Roberto is not willing to cover any of the labor expense which is 3 times the cost of the part. He was asked to reimburse even a portion of the labor cost based on the concern that whatever is overheating is causing the clutch to fail and the fact that the misrepresented the part being purchased after market and it is not OEM. He did not address that issue when asked. Roberto refused to offer even a portion of the labor cost and when I asked what his name was he refused to answer and hung up on me. Very unprofessional. I had to find his name online.

Fast easy service had one the rougher bulb replacements for my taillight he came out there and had it done in 5 mins very friendly and nice people highly recommended

Roberto is the best mechanic in Durant and as a bonus he can work on Mercedes. Highly recommend.

This is the shop to go to in Durant. Halfway through my trip back home driving from Missouri to Texas my 4runner started to have electrical issues, battery light came on, little less torque than usual, some dim dash lights. I checked my battery out and it was fine, kept driving eventually realizing it was probably my alternator... An hour or two later my car died on the side of the road near Atoka Oklahoma. This was 2AM, so I got a tow to Salas Auto Repair and had the 4runner dropped off leaving a note on the dash for the shop, just hoping and praying that whoever opened at the shop in the morning would have sympathy for my situation and fit me into their schedule so that I could get home to Texas.Roberto called me at about 7:30am letting me know he would fit me in that day even though he had other clients cars in the shop currently. Yes! Finally something was going my way. Turns out my alternator was the factory toyota alternator that was over 10 years old and it had indeed failed. Roberto swapped it out for a new OEM alternator with lifetime warranty and got me on my way before noon time. He even picked me up in the 4runner from my hotel down the road when it was all done.The price was reasonable, they bumped me up to the front of the line because they understood I was stranded. Total home run. I left thinking to myself I wish I had this shop near where I live in Texas because they would probably replace my routine go to shop.5* if you're in a pinch look no further. Even if you have to be towed in the middle of the night like I did. Roberto and Salas Auto are going to help you out and wont rob you or mickey mouse the job. Very professional and courteous. I changed the battery in my Volvo S60 T5 AWD and had multiple system failure I tried everything I could think of to fix it including reading the manual and YouTube, with no luck. I took it to Salas on a recommendation from a friend. I dropped it off expecting to have to wait all weekend to find out what was wrong with it. The mechanic called me in about 3 hours and said he fixed it. The cost was very reasonable and I will be recommending Salas Auto to everyone who needs auto repair.Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair, A/C installation & repair

50/50 service the repairs are always on point no complaints in that aspect but no very thorough in diagnostics he needs other mechanics so he is doesnt have to get to the next vehicle so quick but usually done right a Lil pricey but Thats cool cause its done right.

08-03-17: Traveling from Dallas the Check eng light was on and then began flashing. Pulled off highway in Durant to find Autozone (AZ) to have diagnostic. Daniel at AZ got code for upstream 02 sensor. He suggested Salas for repair -- the best referral for me. Roberto Salas could not address car issue until next morning. Told us to come back next day which we did. He researched problem further which indicated bad coil pack. Replaced coil pack and we were on road in less than two hours. HIGHLY RECOMMEND his shop..an honest man, reasonable prices and very thorough!

He does a great job and gives you a warranty on parts he replaces. I've been going to this shop a little over 2 years. He's legit for sure.

I tried calling and they answered just said we don't care what you want and hung up on me. Never called this business til today. I'm having car issues and they had a high rating so I was giving them a shot.

Lleve mi carro por una fuga de aceite y resulta que era del tanque del antigongelante y no arreglaron nada y me cobraron mas de lo presupuestado son un fraude el due�o no se responzabiliza y niega todo. A menos de un mes mi carro no tenia ni una gota de agua o anticongelante y me cobro por ese servicio. Estoy en desacuerdo con el taller son un fraude e irresponzables me rompieron la varilla del aceite y una parte de la parrilla y el due�o solo dice que mi carro es 10 a�os viejo que poca etica del due�o
