After trying to schedule an appointment at 2 other shops and being told it would be 2 weeks, my brother suggested The Pit Stop. The lady (Tina)was friendly and made an appointment this week. Needed a water pump. The mechanics seem very experienced and knowledgeable. In Less than half a day I was back on the road to freedom! They did not price gouge. I'm happy with the results. This is a family owned business, not a big box auto repair franchise. Give the hometown folks your business, it's worth it!Thank you , Pit Stop!

Trying to get a bolt loosened off a Chevy impala, they weren't able to help us, but neither cld anyone else, lol. They were very friendly, prices wld have been perfect, if they had my part, highly recommended

This place is amazing. On my way to work Monday morning june 5th 2023i ran over a piece of tire debris on 412 by inola and damaged my connector for the fuel line and had my car towed here for repair and was back on the road again Thursday June 8th 2023 I recommend anyone needing car or Truck or suv service to come here. Wonderful people and friendly and they keep you up to date on your vehicle

I will always use this family owned business for work on my 88 Cutlas Cruiser. They saved me money by knowing thru diagnostic what really needed to be replaced. Many mechanics would have not even had an OBD 1, or know how to use it. I thought I had fould spark plugs because of bad gas, wasn't the case, it was a faulty ignition control module. All the people here are cool. I highly recommend them for your automotive needs.CHEERS !!!

Friendly and very knowledgeable. Doesn't overcharge. Iv taken an suv and truck there and had them both fixed in a couple days. Definitely recommend and will use them again.

We ve taken two different vehicles to the men up at Pitstop. They got the issues resolved quickly, provided detailed information of how they fixed it and ways to prevent certain things from happening again. They are always very polite and have never made me feel stupid for being a woman like other repair shops around town. Another thing they have going for them is the cost for repairs.. they are extremely affordable and reasonable. Will definitely be coming here until they decide to close their doors. We brought our vehicle in to have an 02 sensor changed. His technician ended up changing the wrong one. So while we were on our way to meet a potential buyer for the vehicle the light came back on and ruined the sale (they'd driven 30 minutes to meet us). My wife called the shop the next day to ask if they could take a look at it and we were told we would be charged labor for their time to investigate. That is their choice, but we didn't appreciate that idea -- they would've then charged us for fixing something they should've done correctly the first time -- so we took it to another shop, which is when we found out they changed the wrong one. So far, not a big deal -- honest mistake.We asked for a refund and were told by the owner that he would refund the labor but not the part unless we were able to bring it in. What? They had last had the part so that made no sense. During our conversation one of his techs suddenly remembered they still had the part (over a week later) so he told us that he would refund labor and parts if we brought in the new sensor they'd installed. Great, so we paid the other shop to remove it. Multiple attempts to get in touch with the owner while getting the run around -- "he'll be here at 1p", we get there and he's not there, probably 10-15 attempts over the course of a week or so. Somehow even though he's out of the shop, he's left no one with the authority to give us our money back, etc.Finally, after a couple of weeks of this we get a hold of him and he tells us that after some thought HE HAS CHANGED HIS MIND and will only refund the labor because "you should've brought it back to us." We can take our vehicle wherever we'd like, but beyond that he went back on his word, which is really the point of this review. He had also told me during a previous transaction that he would be happy to take parts back and give a refund if the part does not solve the presenting problem, but apparently that's not the case. If the owner of this shop is willing to go back on his word that tells me everything I need to know about how they do business. If he had never agreed to refund the part, fine, although we still would not have been happy, but now we're out of pocket the labor for the part removal as well.

These guys are like the rock and roll stars of auto repair. Dave's the greatest he truly cares about every person that walks through the door and that's unusual in this day and age. He's got some good guys working for him and his always giving me good service. If things aren't just right I can bring it back and he'll fix it up so it is but that hasn't happened but once. The Price is Right they're not cheap because the work is great not good. I'd recommend Pitstop to anyone who can get in they usually have a weight but this time they took me right away and got me on the road immediately same day! The build a relationship with you too so I recommend it highly.

The Pit Stop has great mechanics, and the owner is Awesome. Shout out to David Alonzo, Shawn Collins, and Mike. Have car problems give the guys a call. Reasonable prices with Great Service

This is the best place to get any car work you need done. I drive up to Claremore from Galveston Texas just to get work done. Very honest and won't just take your money! Have been coming to Pit stop since my parents moved to Claremore in 2004. Dave is the best and I mean the best in town!

Ive worked next door to Pitstop and Dave for 6 yrs now and ive used him as a mechanic for all my cars. I even sent my mom in to get her vehicle fixed by him. I trust him fully with all my friends, family, and vehicles! We even bought a car from him that we loved until my gf got wrecked into :(

Had my truck fixed by a mechanic and it was worse when I got it back. Took too Pit stop and they fixed the same problem and it is running great. Will recommend them to anyone
