Our 2023 GMC Terrain Denali. Rome down on us while we were in Gainesville, TX. The part needed to repair and get the vehicle back in service was currently not available, and we had been informed by GMC National, the part was currently unavailable, and they did not know when it would be made available. Knowing this information my local Dealer, Merit GMC of Chickasha provided me with a loner vehicle, until our vehicle could be repaired and returned to us. Lonnie Elmore (Service Manger) and his staff were extremely polite, courteous and professional, taking care of all my needs, during this entire experience in getting our vehicle repaired and back in our possession!

Used their service center. The kind woman at the front desk has excellent customer service. I m always scared to take my car to a dealer after being done wrong many times. They seemed honest. My car is fixed & it didn t cost an arm and a leg! Grateful & will be back if I need a car or more work done.

Cameron did a great job helping us find our new truck. He was very helpful and even took the time to assist us in setting everything up after we completed our purchase. We couldn t ask for a better experience. Johnathan (Sales Manager) and Brad (Finance Manager) assisted us in completing the deal. All around great staff and atmosphere.

Absolutely the worst experience ever buying a car. My son bought a car and I co signed. He had it 10 days and the check engine light came on. We called and they couldn t get it in for a few days and said bring it in Thursday. Asked if it would be taken care of and they said only half for the manifold. Then they tell us all ford parts are on back order. So here we are without a vehicle and no offer for courtesy vehicle or anything. Very very frustrating! Never again will we buy anything from Merit!

Bought a vehicle from them took it back for the 3000 mile oil change told them the vehicle is knocking and pinging and they argued with me that it was normal sounds, took it to a ASI certified mechanic which told me that it's not supposed to be doing that but yet merit will not honor the extended warranty that we put on the vehicle so we basically paid $3,000 for nothing, don't recommend them ,not very good service after the sell..

Scott Smith helped us purchase our new jeep. He made the whole process super simple and easy. We had called to check the availability of a jeep we saw online we drove down and he had it ready for us to test drive the moment we stepped out of our vehicle. The whole process was super simple from start to finish.

I d recommend this dealership to anyone in the area. Even if you re further away it may be worth the drive. I can t speak to the others there because I haven t dealt with them, but Cameron Bickerstaff, a salesperson there, is a stand up guy. Even if they don t have the exact vehicle you re looking for, he ll make suggestions to try and help meet your needs without being pushy about it.

I am not a fan of the car buying experience, the hassle, shady nonsense that you get from the city dealerships. We had a great experience traveling to Chickasha, in and driving home in the car we wanted in an hour. So we bought a 2nd one there, each one come with oil changes for life, the dealership changed hands, but every oil change we were greeted by Cameron Bickerstaff every few months, early Saturday mornings we would set around talking about cars, no hassling, just talk about the new cars on the lot, his life, our life's. Another oil change and we would repeat. And he would say one day I want to sell a car to (us). A year or two of this, finally a jeep we really liked. And he got his chance. There was no hassle, it was straight forward. This is the price. Not the normal (what would you like your payments at). We left went home, got to think on it, called him back said let's do it, but, I want to use our C.U. Cameron made sure they knew to make the deal, this is how I wanted it. Cameron introduced us to the finance guy, Ja'miah, who was just as enjoyable to deal with, he said he would use my C.U.but, had another, that would get me a better interest rate. So we made the the deal. Ja'miah even drove to our house because there was something missed in making the deal. A few weeks later we were down getting a few odds and ends fixed on the jeep we had made a deal on, back to the same early morning Saturday conversation. If you're one who does business with the people rather than the place, you want a good car buying experience. I recommend calling Merit and asking for Cameron.

Service department is extremely rude. We will never go back. They have lost our business forever. Three different people from the service department have talked to us like we are stupid. Did not appreciate at all.**Update** I will say the general manager called me later in the evening. He expressed his apologies and tried to make it right. I was not expecting that.**Update** The GM called again today and absolutely went above and beyond to make things right with us. Will be giving them another chance.

I had a bad experience with this dealership a couple weeks earlier. I had an issue with the paint and alignment.The truck had aprox. 700 miles . They made me feel as they thought I was not being truthful that the I probably caused the damage. They did end up helping resolving the issues.this visit was replace a leaking rear shock. the truck had aprox. 900 miles. When i picked up the truck, it smelled like cigarettes, the center console was covered in dirt from the tech's sleeve and the replaced shock was covered in greasy hand prints.I am very perticular about my vehicles. This truck is a denali ultimate. I would think they would respect its cost and treat it with some care.I will not revisit this dealer.

Took truck to the shop for dr side window not working and an intermittent starting problem. Window is fixed and working as it should. They changed the starter and said problem fixed . Got it home and it did the same thing. Seems to be a problem with the positive battery loosing connection. Fixed it myself and everything seems to be fine now.

Kaleb and his team did a great job! Jonathon and J miah are both amazing as well. They made this process extremely painless. We will use Merit for all of our car buying needs. This is the 2nd GMC I have bought from these guys.

I took my vehicle in on 8/1/22 with a lifter needing replaced. I know it isn t an easy job, but i didn t get my vehicle back until 9/21/22. I was calling every 2-3 days and it was always a different excuse of why it wasn t done. I finally have it back but after being without a vehicle for almost 2 months I won t ever recommend them to anyone.

Worked a deal remotely with John. This was after asking for him to inspect the vehicle in detail for any faults or defects as we were about 200 miles from the dealership. AFTER the agreed to deal, he notified me that the 3rd row power seat didn t work. Told them I d still take it if they could fix it by the next day. He said they couldn t , but would discount the sale price by $400. I said pass, maybe try again after repairs, if it was still available as we only had that next day to come get it. A couple days later I asked if the repair had been made and if it was still available. He said it would be repaired by the next day. I said if the deal was still on, I d come get it the next day. What do you suppose happened? You re right, he said you passed on the deal . Now it s full asking price (which I was going to pay initially) plus DOC fee (which they were previously waiving). This dealership is the definition of slimy used car salesman . If they dispute what I m saying, message me and I ll share my DM conversation with them. They re gross, stay away.Update to your Reply: I spoke to your GM and he consulted with the Director of Ops. While I appreciate his call to apologize about the experience, he stood by that way of doing business. He refused to honor the deal we made and eat the cost of the repair that wasn't disclosed prior to the deal. My initial review was and still is accurate, stay away from this place!

Even though they were short handed that day . I didn't have to wait much longer than I usually do. The waiting room is comfortable Let me know when they started on my car. Very courteous. Made me feel very welcome.

Very nice. Got my free oil change without an appointment. Great customer service. I did end up with an issue showing a misfire after I had left and was 100 miles out. Called and was told to check a certain part. No change.

Buying a vehicle is always a hassle. I ve had my fair share of downs BUT my salesman changed my perspective completely. My salesman was phenomenal. He made the impossible possible with keeping me in my budget. I highly recommend and I will definitely send lots of folks his way. The only dealership I ll ever use again. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Front desk Attendant will not let you finish saying what you need insisting she knows! 1 starBrought my car in for a recall, 1 st time didn t have the part.Second time brought it in for the same recall but they didn t tighten any of the bolts there was a leak coming from under the floor board from the catalytic converter, they didn t put the bracket that protects it back on, brought to have them fix the problem they caused and still didn t put the bracket back on! Will not come back to this place for any type of car repair or recall! Bad business and I will not be purchasing a vehicle from them either.
