Fixed my wife s car up after it was having issues. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Not intimidating atmosphere like you can find in other auto shops. Very satisfied customer and will be brining all our vehicles here for maintenance now.

If you are looking for an automotive repair shop that practices integrity, please check out Family Auto Repair at 601 W Madison St, Broken Arrow. We have taken our automobiles there for years, and we have never been disappointed in their work. The men care about your safety and won't let a vehicle leave the shop unless you know the potential problems. Not sure this is a common practice for them, but they've even made a house call to repair a flat on our van which was parked inside the garage! That's great customer service! We appreciate Scott, Ron, Darien and the whole crew.

Did an excellent job on a couple of small repairs for our fleet trucks. Fair prices and good work! They will treat you fairly and honestly here. They will tell you straight on what your repairs are. I didn't get the "used car salesmen" vibe here!

Family Auto Repair has saved the life of more than one of my vehicles. The staff are knowledgeable, fair, and honest. There is nothing like being without your vehicle unexpectedly. Ugh, it's terrible. I always feel like their focus is to get my vehicle back on the road quickly. They are my first call for anything related to maintenance or repair for my vehicles and my first suggestion to anyone needing assistance in those areas. They're a great shop!!

They fixed an issue caused by another shop , using an impact wrench to tighten the oil drain plug on our 2013 Ford Expedition. Unfortunately it was stripped on the pan side so , pan replacement. Had it in and out in under 2 days including ordering the pan. I would recommend them for any automotive work

Darien and his crew at Family Auto worked diligently to advocate for us when our newly purchased vehicle failed on us. Darien communicated with the dealer and warranty company through out the entire process to secure a diagnosis, locate parts, and completing the major repairs to our truck in such a timely manner. Grateful for their effort and guidance through the process. Thankful to God for honest & great people like the ones at Family Auto. Will be bringing our vehicles here moving forward.

I thought long and hard whether or not to write this review. I really didn't want to bash this business because I believed they were an honest shop, based on the first experience I had with them. Nevertheless the more I stewed on it I just could not get past them charging $409.79 to change 4 spark plugs. To even hear that sounds ridiculous. Now I'll give the full context. I had my vehicle towed in because it would not start. I had eliminated one possible cause by installing a new starter just prior to taking it to their shop. Coincidentally (or in hindsight perhaps not) they had quoted me $398 to install a remanufactured starter, but I decided to have a family member install a brand new one for much less.So with that said a couple of days after installing the starter the car would not start, I had it towed to their shop. Debriefed them on what the possible causes could be and advised that a family member had tested the spark plugs and that two of them were not firing.I contacted the mechanic later in the day after it was dropped off. He said that he was just pulling it in to check it out. He called me back later and advised that he changed the spark plugs as they were filed out.The next day I went to pick the vehicle up and was shocked to see the $400 charge. The bill was itemized like so.Diagnostic: $135.00 (I didn't consider this charge unreasonable as Diagnostics are usually a set cost)Labor to replace spark plugs : $135.00 (This charge is unreasonable)Spark Plugs: $88.08 ( This charge is reasonable for the level of plug the mechanic stated that he put in vehicle)Shop Supply: $30.44Tax: $7.41Credit Card Usage Surcharge: $ 13.86Considering that they weren't exactly flying blind after I told them the plugs were not firing I find it pretty rich to charge me $409.I won't be back. I will not recommend.

Needed to change an alternator belt on my car and it turned out to be too difficult to do on my own. They got me in and out at the quoted price and were very professional.

Darien and Morgan were excellent to work with, very responsive and helped me a tremendous amount. I was interested in a used car in Broken Arrow but I live 8 hours away. Family Auto Repair did a pre-purchase inspection - read the error codes, inspected the vehicle, road tested it and Darien called me to discuss the results. Highly recommend. Great place to go. Very honest with there diagnosis of the car. Stealership told us we needed new ac lines as they were leaking. Family auto ran a test and it was just low on Freon and there were no leaks. Great place great price. We ll definitely bring the car back for future repairs if needed. Thanks a lot for your honest work. It is hard to find a shop that will do honest work now and days. Keep up the good workService: A/C installation & repair

Great service at a very fair price. I had a coolant leak that no one else seemed to be able to fix. Great work!Came back again and they repaired my engine which is running on about 3 cylinders I did it quick and a great job!I had serious problems with my cooling system and they fixed it quickly and at a very reasonable price. My wife took our chevy tahoe that we just bought to have the a/c looked at. They let us know what the problem was and what needed to be done. Now it blows freezing cold and they did a great job. The price was great. They didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need. Very dependable and we will be taking our cars back when they need something fixed that I can't do.

I came to Family Auto as a first time customer with a laundry list of things to fix on my SUV.They scheduled time to look over my vehicle and get me an estimate very quickly, and had all the work done and then some within 2 days.They did a great job communicating with me without the process, explaining any challenges or issues that arose, and made sure I approved everything before they moved forward.They took great care of me and got my car in better shape than it s been in for some time. Recently me and my boyfriend had car problems and took our cars to Hibbdon where they told us our car was fine to drive, but on my way to work the car broke down and one of their employees named Mike helped me get the car out of the road and helped me figure out what was actually wrong with the car. I trust this company and their judgment. Thanks Mike!

Friendly people, good prices and great service.They replaced the driveshaft carrier bearing and one u-joint on my 2012 Toyota Tundra. They called me with the diagnosis first, let me know how much the repairs would cost and was able to get my vehicle back to me in about 24 hours.I would highly recommend using this shop.Service: Auto maintenance

Excellent honest service at a fair price! I ve had two recent very positive experiences. First- I asked Scott for second opinion when Jim Norton Toyota wanted to charge over $3000 for timing cover leak on my Toyota. Guess what no leak existed! Recently they fit my Subaru in quickly for an air conditioning repair. Do not hesitate to bring your car here.

I not usually the type to leave a bad review and they are very friendly people but I dropped my Chrysler 200 off there because it was overheating and coolant seemed to be leaking. They had it two days and kept insisting nothing was wrong with it other than air bubbles in the coolant line and charged me $70. The next day I get it and have to pull over because my car is smoking and the coolant was already low again. I could have brought it back and seen if they could check it again but I didn t trust it would be accurate as I had already insisted something was wrong with it. I took it to South Pointe Chrysler& Turns out I need a new engine because there is coolant, rust, & scoring on the cylinder walls.

Scott is a wonderful guy who is honest and sincere with his customers. He has been in the business for a long time and knows his trade inside out. Scott and his team do an excellent job of fixing cars at reasonable charges. My first experience with Family Auto Repair was very satisfying with the quality of their work and the price I paid. (*UPDATE: Scott finally called to discuss this issue. I was certain he was reaching out to make sure I was taken care of as an important customer. WRONG! He simply wanted to be very clear that they did nothing wrong and all the blame for the miscommunication was obviously on me. That kind of arrogance just cost FAMILY Auto (extremely proud of their customer service, by the way) a customer with five vehicles to maintain!)I dropped off my car for an oil change at 1:00 PM. My check engine light was also on. I did not receive a call that day. I did not receive a call the next morning. I picked up the phone and called to get an update myself around 11:00 AM. Scott simply said my car was being driven around and he would call after lunch. They called at 2:40 PM saying it was ready. They charged me $100 to scan the car (a free service at every auto part store) and $70 for a new gas cap that was causing the light to come on (something I did not approve nor was I even aware of them going forward until picking up the car).Be aware a simple oil change can wind up costing $240 at this place with ZERO explanation or communication. I will only consider returning/recommending again if I am offered a full refund which is disappointing because I had been happy with previous visits.

Hard to rate a mechanic as you can't prove what they say is wrong ;-)I can say they are very friendly people. My car was fixed and the issue was resolved. I was from out of town and they got me in quickly as I had to leave town the next day. Great people!I liked them so much I gave them $1100. <cry>

I have used Family Auto Repair shop for over 10 years. I made the mistake of trying another auto repair shop in the Broken Arrow area, but the other shop is no comparison to Family Auto Repair. I like that Scott, the owner is honest and straight forward about any needed repairs. I recall recommending Family Auto Repair to co-worker who was looking for a trustworthy shop to work on his classic truck. My co-worker was very impressed with auto repair service they received. They were overwhelmed with the above and beyond service Family Auto Repair perform when a technician provided roadside service to resolve simple issue.Family Auto Repair is about the only shop I recommend to friends and anyone asking for an auto shop with good accreditation.Scott and crew, I appreciate all that you do.KR

They do repairs faster than any other shop I have ever used. Troubleshooting skill are on par as well. I have never had to return a vehicle to fix a problem that recurred after the initial repair. Customer service is great. Prices are high, as with any quality mechanic, but it is definitely worth the cost for piece of mind.

My entire family and I have been patrons of Family Auto Repair for just about 20 years now. They have the best service, best people and the best prices around town. I recommend them to every person I meet and am happy to do so. I will continue to use them as long as I live anywhere near Broken Arrow, it will be worth the drive.Keep up the great work,Thanks!
