I ran out of time for regular maintenance on my car before a long road trip so while i was visiting my sister in Bixby, i asked her to help me find a garage that could help me out. Without hesitation she told me about Same Day Auto. We made an appointment for the morning i planned to head home. Simple, oil change and tire rotation, plus cabin air filter change. I did not expect them to do a complete physical exam! With photos! I felt completely safe starting my long drive home. They guys were friendly and funny. I was shocked at the cost of everything. So much lower than i expected! Talk about great value!

I m absolutely impressed with the customer service of Curtis at Same Day auto! I m new to Tulsa s surrounding areas and wanted to get an alignment on my truck, found out it needed Ball joints which is why it had the wondering steering wheel! At first I believed it was the tire pressure so I thought it would be fine after tire pressure was set to manufacture recommendations and alignment! Boy was I wrong! I had No heat in the cab either, took my truck to another business in Sand springs and was told it was my thermostat in which that wasn t the problem! The guys at Same Day Auto did the heater core flush, Ball joints and alignment now it feels like a brand new truck! I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to them for honest work and getting the job done right! The manager Curtis has gone above and beyond, knowing I didn t have access to another vehicle he actually went in on his day off (Saturday) so that I could pick up my truck! I will go out of my way, drive 100 miles, and spend 10 hours driving in my car to find Same Day for 20 years I have not taken my cars to anyone else!! And I will continue to be a loyal customer! They have done nothing but helped me and made sure my babies rode in a safe car. It all started about 20 years ago when I had a busted radiator and a few other problems in my Ford Explorer and barely made it to the Berryhill location. Then as years went on I went through quite a few cars because I m not a car savvy woman and men kept selling me pieces of junk one day when Frankie told me the bad news that the latest lemon I had bought just 3 months before, it would cost more to fix everything then I paid for it :( I, of course, was very sad and disappointed he looked at me and said Geana, we love that you only come to us for your repair needs but this has to be the 4th car you ve bought in 2 years that was a junk next time you look at a car to buy, before you buy it, bring it to us to look at it first and I ll tell you if it s worth it or not . I was already a lifer but after that, there was no question ever in my life of who really cares about their customers. They will take care of you, always! Thanks Frankie, John, Curtis, Jeremy and everyone I haven t met or talked to yet!

TL;DR - spliced wrong wires together leading to unnecessary repairs. My wife used them previously for her van and enjoyed the experience.Took a family truck in on a Wednesday morning because the battery wouldn t charge and some wires had been damaged by a mouse. They repaired four wires and supposedly did an electrical diagnostic test for $600+ total. They said one of the wires repaired went to the alternator and, after repairing it, concluded the alternator failed.Quote for that was over $1100, including $400 for a remanufactured alternator.I took it home and immediately left the state for work.When I got back to Tulsa weeks later, I had a mobile mechanic come out because I had phone meetings throughout the day and didn t want to deal with Uber/Lyft during a meeting. He replaced the alternator for less than half (and I used a NEW alternator for less than $400). That didn t fix it! He spent 4 hours tracing all the wiring, fuses, etc. and finally deduced he had to look at the repaired wiring we assumed was repaired.The Same Day Auto technician who repaired the wiring spliced a light pink wire to a red wire (and vice versa ). One wire went to the thermometer on the dash and the other told the alternator to turn on (or something like that). SO, I likely replaced the alternator for no reason.Their reply: I'm sorry to hear you were having trouble with it. The different colored wire was wire that we added in to fill the gap in the damaged wiring. If I had known there was a problem, I would have been happy to get it checked out and cover the necessary repairs under warranty. Just let me know if there's anything we can do for you in the future.Never owned the mistake, right? Or did I read that wrong? In their defense, they probably would have redone the splices, but I still would have had to deal with Ubers and I would have had to pay them more than twice the amount on the new part install (for a part that likely never needed to be replaced to begin with) just to see that didn t fix it. Also, the first time they had the truck I got it two days later, so I m sure it would have been with them several more days, but my time was extremely limited this trip home.Two of the repaired wires didn t need to be redone and they aren t jerks, so they get a star (2/5) for that.

I went in to have a tire patched and Curtis assured me that I would be taken care of. When I left the store my tire pressure reading in my car showed that the tire they fixed had tire pressure of 39 and the others had 36. My tires take between 31-33. I called Curtis and asked him if there was a reason the tires had been filled so much and he said they might be having problems with their gauges. I let him know that my car will honk when the tires reach the required air pressure. He said, I don't know how that happened. I'm thinking if you can't get tire pressure right... .

Like many others who have reviewed this Bixby location. My wife and I want to express our satisfaction with Bryan and his crew, notably, Daniel, who went out of his way to give a little extra. We have been customers here at this particular location for a number of years. One of our Children is a longtime customer here also. We are in agreeance with one another that not only do they provide curtious, prompt service but also a level of confidence that keeps us coming back when we need competent care care.

Changed my catalytic converter and sensors and check engine light still on. I took it back to them and they replaced another sensor. Check engine light came back on. So they have it back and I haven't heard anything else about it. Very bad service and car is not working right yet.

I have had a lot of work done by this business, the last time I had work done I questioned if I could still trust them ( more work being done than needed). Just called to see about a repair I needed, needed a price since I did not have time to do myself, $100 thermostat and 1-2 hours max to replace, the low estimate is over $800, are they nuts. Just absolutely amazed at the excellent service provided by Frankie, Curtis, and Jeremy!!!These gentlemen went above and beyond to help me by coming out to jump my dead battery so quickly, fit me in their busy schedule last minute in Bixby to replace it, then changed my oil, and took out a nail in tire all at once! Curtis took great care of me. These guys are great. They know what they're doing. They were able to fix a problem that I have had with my car for years an electrical Problem that two other garages were unable to figure out. And when The part was unavailable for replacement. They cleaned refurbished the part that I had and made it work. I am always weary of who I trust my Diesel 2004 Ford 4x4 Excursion. These guys are solid and trustworthy.

By far the best experience I ve had with a repair shop! About a month ago I took my Nissan NV2500 in as a last resort. I am a small business owner and my cargo van is the lifeline of my business. The vehicle had started giving me problems so I took it to Nelson Nissan to have it fixed. The crank position sensor I was told was the issue. A few days after getting the vehicle back the problem reoccurred but worse. My vehicle was dying and had to have it towed back to the dealership. After leaving it there for close to 2 weeks, Nissan told me they could not find the issue. I had the the vehicle towed to a private mechanic who came recommended and said that diagnostics showed the same sensor failed again. For the second time I paid to have sensor replaced and again after a few days problem reappeared. Frustrated I decided to take it to a shop in Bixby (Same Day Auto) that I was told was expensive but good. After being unable to diagnose the issue immediately they told me if I was patient they would figure out the problem. A couple of days later later I received a call that the problem had been identified. It was a connector. Not only did they fix the problem and put a new sensor in but they were almost $100 less than the dealership. Many thanks to the technicians Daniel and Paul. You have my business from now on.

Let s start out with the personnel were really nice and courteous. I had to call to get information on my vehicle. They replace the clutch and while doing so damage the map sensor. They worked on the engine due to it sounding rough. Could not figure out what was wrong with it so I took it to another mechanic that they recommended. This mechanic got it on the lift and noticed that the bolts holding the transmission on we re only finger tight they said this would ve caused a catastrophic event if the had no tightened them. They also unplug the map sensor that was replaced in the vehicle and it started running better so they had to replace the map sensor that was replaced.They did a good job replacing the clutch, but they need to make sure that everything is tightened up and that the parts are for the correct vehicle.Services: Transmission, Engine repair

Same Day Auto is the only full service shop I trust with my car. It has never disappointed me, and it has pleasantly surprised me on multiple occasions. Curtis (who most recently did great, speedy work on my brake lights) and the team have consistently demonstrated that they would rather diagnose and efficiently solve a problem with my car at minimum cost to me than try to upsell, exaggerate, or otherwise take advantage. I drive away thinking, "Well that was way easier than I expected!" The guys there were very friendly and made sure to inform me of the process throughout. My car seems to be better than when I took it in, thank you Curtis! They have a payment service so I could pay off the unforeseen charges to repair my car every pay check. One less star only because whoever was in charge of approving my online appointment forgot to complete it so when I went in to see if I actually had an appointment the process needed to be completed still.
