Best place to take your car. I have never had such an honest, detailed experience with a mechanic before. I have been tricked for years in other states about my air conditioning. They would tell me I needed to change my compressor for a new one costing about $1200-$1400. I have not been able to pay that so I have been winging each hot summer without a/c, or not driving at all because it gets dangerously hot at stop lights and slow moving traffic.I heard about Family Automotive through a friend, and this place has saved my life. Blaine checked everything out and found the problem, the whole unit did not have to be replaced. He explained everything in detail in a way I could understand. Since the cost was not $1200-$1400, I was able to fix other issues in addition to my a/c.I think we all need to take a moment to appreciate and support the honest people left in our society, the people that lift us up and want to see us do well. A mechanic has the power to do that, just like a doctor. I now feel more at peace when it comes to any issue with my car. These guys had my car for almost 3 months. That wasn't specifically the problem, they took forever to run a diagnostic they changed me $210 for and $35 a day for storage fees. So $427 I had to tow my car home and am not broke, overcharged, not kept into the loop, no one was up front about anything being so pricey to just check on something. Wasted $500 for them to do nothing so thanks guys almost had another car til I ended up broke for nothing. Gotta love that. 9/10 would NOT recommend. Only good thing about that place is their sweet chonky dog.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

I was referred to this company by a friend only to be extremely disappointed. First of all i knew I was in trouble when I saw on Google the business has been around for 10 years and only has 6 reviews. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Then the mechanic seemed to be out of it or on something. However it was too late because they had my vehicle already. After I got my vehicle back it had been rummaged through. All the change for the turnpike was gone, my phone charger was missing and the amplifier for my radio was gone. But it gets better.... the car was dead when I picked it up. They jumped it sparked the battery and fried my ECM.

Horrible customer service. Don t waste your money or time going here. They will tear up your vehicle then charge you to fix it. AVOID THIS PLACE! ..Way overpriced as well.

In my personal opinion Do not use this guy he will rip you off he stole my radio,amp never did any work on my truck said it needed a new engine which it does not told me he will get back with me never heard from him then find out he went and did a title 42 under false pretenses and told me I had to pay 4K to get it back avoid this guy at all cost
