I was referred to Roy's by another transmission shop that was backed up and couldn't diagnose and repair my vehicle. Roy's was able to get me in same day and was able to have my vehicle back up and running the same week. Although my vehicle did require a new transmission, l feel confident they did everything they could to get me back on the road safely and timely for the best price. It is a family owned business and everyone working there is very through and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to other friends and family.

We spent a month trying to get my sons car to start, replacing the battery and starter at another shop just to be told it was the transmission. Looked up Roy's on Google, had it towed there and it only took Steven a couple of days to have it running and it wasn't any of those things, no transmission issues either..it ended up being a connection that they didn't even really have to fix and could have easily told us to tow it to a regular shop but instead they took the time and fixed it...and then charged a more than fair price. Will never use another transmission shop.

They were recommended to me by a friend who is a friend of Roy himself. Great price, quick turn around and my car actually runs better and shifts smoother than every before. Wonderful place! I truly love my car but it's a 1995. They had the knowledge base to work on it and found the issue quickly. They had it back to me and shifting smoothly in less than 24 hrs. The invoice was so much less than what I had been told everywhere else I called as well, and that was even before anything had been checked. I highly recommend you take your vehicle here, I was very impressed, and will return for any future service needed!

I just called to ask a simple question about fluid type, and Roy was jovial, upbeat, confident in his knowledge and more than willing and wanting to help me. I haven't even brought a vehicle to him, but his attitude on the phone makes me have no doubts about where I'm bringing my vehicle when/if an issue comes along.

I've used a few transmission shops over the years and have never really been happy with them. This is now the place for me for transmission work, family run, honest, reliable and they really know about transmissions.I can't rate them high enough, excellent top-notch place.Service: Transmission

Diagnosed issues with my transmission that was just installed. Roy worked with the transmission company to take care of the the warranty replacement. Made it super easy for me and they kept me updated all along the way. Great experience and will recommend to anyone who needs transmission work or service.

I have been using Roy s Transmission Shop to service all of my vehicles for over a decade. He totally rebuilt the transmission for my 1994 Chevrolet Silverado C1500 pickup in January, 2009 when it had over 150,000 miles. I m still driving it with over 208,000 miles. His reasonable prices coupled with excellent service is why all of my transmission issues/service will go to Roy s in the future.Service: Transmission

While I did not ultimately get my transmission worked on (because of circumstances of being an out of towner just passing through), the Roy's team/family were some of the kindest and most honest folks I have come across. Their pricing was extremely fair and the diagnostics that were completed were completely thorough. I highly recommend to anyone needing transmission work!!

These people are professional, knowledgeable and HONEST! The ladies in front are charming and Steven, the gentleman who diagnosed my vehicle was thorough and sincere. I had suspected something was wrong with my transmission but I was mistaken. Following Steven's personal and technical testing he reported that everything was working well and no repairs were necessary. I really appreciated his honesty and was thankful I had been referred to Roy's Transmission Shop by my honest mechanics at Gavula Bros. Garage on NW 10th. I commend and highly recommend Roy's.

Literally broke down in front of another shop. They looked it over and determined that the transmission was shot and would have to be replaced. I called my mechanic, who recommended Roy's. I towed it to them and prepared for the worst. However, it turned out that the speed sensor was the only thing broken. They diagnosed the problem correctly (saving me thousands) fixed it in one day and had the car back to me in no time. Phenomenal, honest guys.

This is a family own and ran business, that is top of the line transmission repair. Good, decent, down to earth helpful people. And Roy's custom made knives are unique!

I live out of town and was there to test drive a car. The car had shifting issue so we stopped at roys and the people were the best ivedealt with. They took the car for a quick drive and hooked up and ran some tests and confirmed that the transmission was in need of work. Very polite professional and did it for us immediately. Thanks to them for all the help.

Dropping off the vehicle was easy, and they did a fairly good job of staying in contact with me as to the status of my vehicle.However, the price I was quoted and the final price were significantly different, well over $1,000.Will not use again.

Had to bring HHR in for a busted cooler line, said it would probably be the following Monday before he could get to it. Had car ready by COB on Friday. Great service and great people. Highly recommend for your transmission needs.

I personally did not deal with this shop but I bought a truck that just had a transmission rebuilt by them currently 1 years and several thousand miles later its still working perfect and the truck is always pulling about 15 thousand pounds i would recommend

Roy & Steven earned their money on this job - very thorough completed a very complicated transmission repair (Chrysler300M)- the torque converter went grenade causing down stream problems - accurately diagnosed and repaired. Thanks guys and the lovely ladies who run the front office.

Thank you, Steven, for taking a look at my car and isolating what the problem was: a unusual computer code. As a result, I took the car back to the shop that installed the computer originally, they cleared the code and that saved me from having to replace the transmission, a wrong diagnosis from another shop. I'm glad I got a second opinion from your shop!
