Great service team, had a hiccup with the sales team but it was eventually taken care of. They have earned a good customer through their service and the sales manager. However like most places their inventory is low but that is the same anywhere as you go

Helpful and professional service!Hector and Gavin took excellent care of a warranty issue and Jered delivered and demonstrated a new piece of equipment. Very pleased with the people and service.

I just read Mr. Snook's review. And wanted to clarify that first of all, the parts people don't have chairs, they stand all day. No, they don't always greet you which I prefer. I don't like people coming up and talking to me whenever I've got stuff in my mind and things to do just to say hi and ask me how my day is going, maybe other people are more narcissistic than I am. Some of your better people at the store are gone at 12:30 because of lunch time, happens to me all the time ,the mechanics break from 12 to 1. I am sorry Mr. Snook's visit was horrible. At parts ask for Curtis, Jean or Tim if you have a hard problem. I must say there are some broken sticks in the store, but I do business with them everyday an the majority of the store is A+ even before we bought all our equipment there.

Fair Price on equipment. Mike Gerald's is top notch as a salesman. I would recommend Western Equipment to anyone looking for a good price on any equipment. Staff is top grade!

15 June2015. Walked into Altus John Deere to rectify a problem with my fathers's 3005 tractor's fuel line. My father has spent over $65,000 dollars in tractors and equipment. We walked in and were never greeted and when we walked all the way across the room the parts person Allen asked us what we needed. I showed the parts men and 3 others the pictures I had taken on my iPhone so that there was no miss understanding of the issue at hand. Not one person new the problem and the parts involved in order to fix the issue. I asked if the mechanic was around because he knows whats involved in fixing it. All the mechanics are at lunch it was 1230. Due to the fact that Allen would not get out of his chair and ask someone for help or how he could service the customer he just sat there. My father was going to also buy filters and oil and fuel filter which also totalled an additional $200 dollars, but he decided not to because the parts people were not at all interested in helping my father solve the issue with his tractor, so he didn't buy the $200 in parts. So basically the lost out on $200 and what ever else to fix his tractor. Do not go to this JOHN DEERE FACILITY. THEY ARE ANYTHING BUT PROFESSIONAL. THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO MAKE YOU HAUL YOUR TRACTOR TO THERE SIGHT. WE DROVE 60 MILES TO THIS PLACE! THE ABSOLUTE LEAST THEY COULD DO IS GREET YOU WHEN YOU WALK IN. THE WORST THE WORST THE WORST. I WILL NOT TAKE THIS OFF THE INTERNET UNTIL YOU TRY TO FIX THIS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUE.

The people at western equipment in Altus always go above and beyond their normal duties to help in any way possible. They are very fair and competitive with trade in values and can make any deal work!I would highly recommend them if your looking for equipment of any kind.

No words. Just depends on the day and what's going on with farmers and ranchers. Friendly staff. Just dont expect a red carpet or a smile its all business and go.
