Brad was very quick and friendly. He called ahead to the repair shop on his way to pick me up. The shop was waiting and ready to diagnose my vehicle. Thank you Brad & Tripp Towing.

Tripp towing came out after a AAA roadside request to tow my Ford Focus. I highly recommend them for towing vehicles as I am a former tow truck operator. The guy who came and got me off the side of the road coming back from Lawton knew his stuff.I would use them again and will recommend them to others if they find themselves in the position I was in.5/5 stars, good job guys.

My car broke down in Altus, OK. I live in McKinney, TX. I called AAA and they dispatched Tripp Automotive. It was a debacle on AAA's part...because we were going around 200 miles, they only covered 100 miles and then we were to pay the remaining 100 miles out of pocket. Long story short...we upgraded our membership and waited a week. When we told Tripp Auto what we wanted to do...they asked us to request them with AAA. We did....and when we were met with even more issues with AAA, scheduling, dispatching, etc. Tripp Auto was there to help, was able to get the car picked up and really went above and beyond. My car is now safely in a dealership close to my home all thanks to them! I would recommend them all day every day.

I was only in Altus, OK for 6 months for training at the base but my 02 Honda Accord decided to break on me 3 times while I was there. I needed a new starter, my driver's side power window busted, and right before I left, I needed a new water pump. Each time Brad and the mechanics at Tripp Automotive where very honest and provided excellent workmanship to get my car back up to speed and keep me on my feet. The last issue, the water pump, was an exceptional example of their care. I needed to leave for CA at the end of the week but my car couldn't drive longer than 15 minutes without risking overheating. Despite the fact that the shop was extremely busy at the time, Brad made time for me so that I could still make it home once I was done with training without having to wait on my car's issues. I would recommend Tripp Automotive to anyone who has any issues with their vehicle while in Altus, OK for training or as a more permanent resident for their honesty, speed, quality of work, and honest pricing!!!

When I first looked up Tripp Automotive, I was skeptical due to the bad reviews; I checked other places first, but nobody had the service I needed. Honestly, I'm ashamed of my doubts; the service was exemplary and I was charged 1/8th of the dealership price for a transmission swap, which was serviced the next day. Brought the car in on Monday afternoon, got it back Tuesday morning. I recommend this service to anyone, and I will be a returning customer.

Taken my car here twice. Once for a Crankshaft sensor, abs they fixed it in about 30 minutes. This time is fire the motor in my drivers door for the window and they got an anonymous person to pay for that repair (given that this anonymous person contacted them once before). One of the best shops I have ever been to for any car repair by far. Thank you guys!

I had to get towed after loosing a tire on the highway at 1 in the morning and Brad came to get me. Easily one of the nicest guys I've ever met and even went out of his way to drop me off on base. Gave me an extremely good price on repair and would reccomened this shop above anywhere else in Altus.

I had an unfortunate incident where I blew the engine in my vehicle. Brad came out in the middle of the night, recovered my vehicle, put a new engine in and got me on the road. Brad had to do more work then he should have, due to issues with my insurance company, and seemed more than willing to be of service. Most everyone I ve talked to about Tripp has nothing but positive comments, and I had an outstanding experience.

A while back I called to see if they could let me know how much it would be to replace axles in my car and they would never return my calls. And recently I called them to see if they could look at my 97 Honda to see what was wrong with the transmission. Again, they wouldn't return calls. So when I finally got a hold of someone, they scheduled an appointment for Wednesday. They had my car two days and never once looked at it. When I went up there, they told me they didn't know it was a 90's model and they didn't have a computer to hook up to my car. Even thou there was no faults showing up anyways and the fact I called up there several times and told them that it was a 97. These people are rude and act like they are too busy and don't need your business. If he couldn't work on my car, he should have told me that first day instead of me having to go up there two days later to see what the hold up was. No customer service at all. Save yourself the headache. I got talking to my other friends and they all have the same horrible experience with tripps. Never again will I try to give them business or EVER recommend them to anyone. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

Took my sons Nissan Titan to Brad and had the HUBS replaced. He could have charged me more but he just charged me labor. He was fast and courteous. My son is 16 and his safety is more important that money.

HORRIBLE MECHANIC, LIARS AND CROOKS!!! Not only do they lie about using OEM parts and charge me for oem parts (which they didn't use), they cause $4800 in damage to my engine.I took my truck there for a simple glow plug change, I could have done it myself but I was short on time. So after emphasizing 3 times that they "USE OEM FORD PARTS" they assured me they did. I asked if the price included replacing the harness that plugs into the valve cover harness, he said yes. So they change my glow plugs and I picked the truck up with one problem. They were too lazy to pull the oil dipstick out when they pulled the valve covers and bent the tube. I took the truck home a noticed there was a small spot of oil in the driveway, but it's an older truck so I didn't think much of it. I took a trip that weekend to Lawton and noticed a massive oil leak. I checked my dipstick and was 4 qts low from a trip to Lawton and back. I decided to replace the tube myself ($52) instead of making a stink. I was a little upset, but accidents happen. After I noticed this I decide to look at how the harness looked, and to my surprise they did not replace the harness on either side. The driver side harness was badly damaged and the wires were all touching, so I called them back and they apologized and said they would fix it and only charge me parts. I thought, ok honest mistake and they're trying to make it right. So I said I would bring it back.I dropped it off on a Friday which they are only open until noon, I said just leave the keys in the truck and I'll pick it up after work. I asked them if they could replace both harnesses and I'll pay the labor and parts on the other side, he said "absolutely." This was said on a Tuesday, but I couldn't get it in until Friday. I asked him again the day I dropped it off if they will replace both harnesses, he again said "yes" and showed me one harness and said "the other one is in the back." That was the beginning of my nightmare with these incompetent "mechanics."I came to pick it up after they replaced the harnesses, and as expected the keys were in the truck. I went to start it and noticed that it took longer to turn than normal, but it finally started and when it did it barely ran. The truck struggled to idle and it couldn't even pull itself across a flat driveway. So being pretty mechanically inclined I thought I'd pop the hood to see if a sensor was unplugged or something was off. As I inspected closer I noticed they only replaced ONE OF THE HARNESSES!!!! Seriously, after all of that? This is when I became irate and realized these guys are idiots! So it was 5pm on a Friday and they were closed, so I left my truck until Monday since it couldn't drive itself anywhere.Monday I called and told them the problem (didn't bring up the harness, I just wanted my truck to run the way it did when I brought it in) and they said they will look into it. They called on Tuesday when they were about to close and said the wires are good, but your IDM (Injector computer) is shot and needs to be replaced. They said that 3 injectors are not working (surprising on the side they replaced the harness a few days prior) and that is causing it to run rough. At this point I am frustrated, but I ask what will an IDM cost? They looked it up and said the OEM IDM installed will be $800. I was thinking are these guys trying to rip me off? I said I'll call you tomorrow after I talk to my wife. So that night I researched IDM failure and talked to a Certified Ford diesel tech and all the research said that if the IDM fails it fails a whole bank (ie 4 cylinders or 8 cylinders, in no way can it fail 3 cylinders like Tripps claimed). I said I'll pick it up and took it to Ford, where they said the IDM is fine but 3 injectors are fried. The tech would guess, but he did say that if the harness is installed incorrect it will mess up the injectors. Ford said that when you're doing injectors do them all at once, which was $4800. DON'T GET FOOLED BY THESE LYING CROOKS LIKE I DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could say great service but unfortunately it's been the biggest headache trying to find out information. I tried calling and it goes to voicemail, the first time I ever got a hold of him was last week. I was inquiring about how much it would cost to get a vehicle out of impounded I explained the vehicle to a T. He told me he doesn't have a vehicle like that, he tells me that Cooters has it. Called Cooter he was just as confused as me. My mom then calls Brad back and magically the vehicle I explained was on his lot he told my mom that he was working on it but it was towed in because we talked to the officer who had it towed in because it had no insurance. My mom just wants to know how much the fee is to get it out. Something this small should not be such a huge hussle.

I came home from work to a random car parked in my driveway. After calling multiple towing companies in Altus with no luck, I was so happy to hear Tripp Auto say they would come tow it. No hassle, great service. Thank you!

Fantastic worker there! I called with an issue with the starter, they answered the phone, offered a truly great price compared to everybody else around, and then fix my starter the same day. Good Job! So far going to use them for every issue I have now! :)

Not really a fan. Checked around and he had recommendations but 3 or more weeks to get in then didn't do the work I asked him to preform. YMMV
