We stayed at Wolfie s in a Class A RV in early October, 2023. It was a great campground to stay in. The grounds were well kept and the sites had ample room. It was off season so it was very quiet. There is a great trail which we walked and outdoor games (which we did not take advantage of). The laundry room was clean and modern. The owners live on the property and offered suggestions about things to do in the area. They were very friendly. The campground itself was an easy access to I-70. We would highly recommend the campground for couples or families because of the amenities and the friendly hosts. Thank you.

This is very nice campground and clean facilities. We were in site 38 hard a bit of trouble setting up because it was a narrow pad and we couldn t open our slides but managed to move it over into the grass to accommodate them. If you are not going to unhook I suggest using a different site. Aside from that we really liked the campground and staff. The gentleman that assisted us was very helpful. We will stop in again on our way back to Jersey.

My wife and I recently stayed at Wolfie's campground. It is a small, but very well maintained campground! We were in a pull through site with 50 amp and full hookups. The bathrooms and showers were very clean! It is close to everything (stores, etc) in Zanesville and not far from I 70. Kevin in the office was super friendly! Great stop!

Fantastic place! We have a pull behind travel trailer - campground is on a hill, but all sites are very level. Lots of trees, tent camping area is very shaded. Very kid friendly, lots of activities. Playground, pool, game room, half-court basketball - 5 minute drive into Zanesville. Showers/bath house are exceptionally clean as well. New owners (January 2023) are doing a fantastic job with this nice old campground.Nearby activities: Take a ride on the Lorena Sternwheeler and visit Tom's Ice Cream Bowl.

Stayed at Wolfies with our Ohio Stars Camping group. Great campground. Well taken care of by the new owners. Very clean restrooms and pool. They also offer a game room, pavilion, basketball court, playground, and laundry facility. We were at pull through site 42 which had a concrete patio, fire ring and picnic table. Will definitely visit again!

Very well kept and family friendly campground! We tent camped here with our kids (2 and 4). The tent area was mowed and trimmed with plenty of space between tents and access to water and electric. Refreshing to camp at a place where the tent sites are cared for as these can, at times, be overlooked in many other campgrounds. Each site had a fire ring and picnic table as well and are completely shaded in the trees (makes hot weather camping still doable in a tent). The playground is a real selling point for the kids! Large area with many different activities for the kids to entertain for a long period of time. In addition to the playground, the owners do a wonderful job of providing arts / crafts / activities for the kids as well. They truly go above and beyond! Our kids loved rocked painting, bracelet making, and the scavenger hunt. They constantly beg for us to go back and we'll be returning during the Halloween timeframe for the third time this year.As for adults, the walking trail is a great way to experience some woods / outdoors even while the campground location is very convenient to Zanesville and other amenities. The camp store is well stocked with all the typical "oopsie I forgot / broke" items as well as unique gifts to Wolfies for family and friends. Restrooms are spotless! If you're used to staying at State / National Park campgrounds (or most other private campgrounds for that matter) you won't even recognize the bathrooms for how clean and well kept they are. This is probably the most appreciated aspect for my wife.Wolfies offers a great all around enjoyable and safe environment for both adults and kids making it a great place to get away with a family. Highly recommend and we'll continue to be repeat patrons!

Wolfie's is wonderful! We tent camped with our kids (2 and 4) and had an absolute blast. The environment was family friendly with tons of other kiddos for ours to play with throughout the day. The playground was super fun with a pirate ship that catered to all ages. They had multiple kids activities, scavenger hunt and crafts throughout the weekend, which our kids very much enjoyed. When the sun went down, it was surprisingly quiet and easy to go to sleep (we did bring the kids usual sound machine just in case though). The grounds are well maintained with super clean bathrooms that are serviced frequently. One night had a few hours of awesome live music from Barefoot McCoy in the pavilion. It was so nice to sit back and relax with a beverage while the kids finished crafts and danced along. We'll definitely be back again and maybe even make it a biannual trip!

We tent camped (3) nights while exploring the region via motorcycle. While tent spots are limited, they do have electric and the little "grove" ... grassy area backed up to the woods where tent sites are located ... is beautiful. The entire campground is very, very well maintained, clean & welcoming with all the amenities of larger properties - pool, basketball court, playground, fire rings, -bq's, etc - but even full going into the weekend, SO much nicer and more relaxing/pleasant a stay without all the people. The selling point for me however was the bathroom/shower house ... hands down the nicest, immaculately cleanest, best set up of any campground I've ever stayed. I would definitely recommend!!

My family stayed over the weekend and my kids had blast. The owner was super friendly and never hesitated to just chat. They had an good sized playground that included a scavenger hunt for the kids. Also an pool. The kids like the walking trail which we a quick and easy hike especially with little ones. At night it was quite and relaxing. We can't wait to return.

I was in town for some motorcycle tourism, to ride the Triple Nickle, and decided to camp in a tent. Not a bad choice staying here. The tent area was very spacious. There are enterprise level wireless access points far in the air that worked great even while the place was full. The bathroom and shower facilities were also in top shape. And they provided electrical outlets where you pitch your tents, how cool is that? I brought a 20 ft cord and was watching some Netflix by the fire before retiring each night.

I was doing a motorcycle trip from Pennsylvania to California. This campground was one of my stopovers. I am very impressed with everything. The staff is great, the restrooms and the showers are clean, and I felt so welcome because I was well greeted by the owners. The property is very well maintained. I would give it more than a five star if I could. If anybody decides to stop over and camp in Ohio, you should check out this place. Thank you for a great camping experience.

This is a nice family friendly campground. New owners in January they are very friendly. I was a little worried when we pulled in we have a 38ft. camper our site looked smaller than 40ft once I got in to it, it was fine. We had site 44 it was great. Pool is clean and nice it is a little small but it wasn't to busy. I can't believe it's been a well kept secret all this time. If you live near Newark, Zanesville, or even Mt. Vernon ohio. You need to check this place out. We will be back again.
