I spoke with Ron regarding a transmission repair and he gave me great advice and actually sent me a different direction that saved me money. Ron is a very knowledgeable and honest businessman. I would highly recommend his shop for your auto service.

Honest and extremely professional customer services. They wrote the book and set the example and truly care for a customer. They have showed me expert workmanship and knowledge for the vehicle I gave to them to repair. Don t think twice about going someplace else.

A+ service. Couldn t ask for a more smoother and easier replacement and you can t beat the price. Best hands down. If you need your transmission replaced rebuilt or service this is the place to go. Ron and his team are excellent. Thank you guys for getting me back on the road.

Fixed my jeep the day I dropped it off. Ron was a very nice guy and a pleasure to speak with. I can't remember the name of the gentleman that worked on my jeep but they were fast and did a great job.

Thought I had a transmission issue. Turned out to be a broken axle with my AWD car. The guys at Aamco were proactive in communicating the issue as well as how they were progressing with fixing it. Great customer service and great repair work!

This business is one of the most honest mechanics I have had the pleasure of working with. Russ and Ron were very accommodating with an issue we have we our vehicle. On short notice they were able to fit our car in and do a diagnostic and road test to suss out the issue our vehicles transmission/differential. Russ and Ron went above and beyond for us, and we very grateful and thankful for their tremendous help and honesty. I have been going here for years and trust these guys every single time. I have taken other vehicles I ve owned to them, over the years, and they ve done brakes and brake pads for me and things like that. They do an excellent and affordable job with everything I give them.I actually just called them today to ask them if they had any openings to do a transmission fluid replacement and I told them that Valvoline had told me that I was due for one. The man I spoke with on the phone asked me what year my car was and how many miles was on it and when I told him, he told me the most honest thing I ve ever heard from a car maintenance place. He said that my car doesn t have enough miles to do that and that I shouldn t have to spend a lot of money to get that done when it is not even necessary at this time.He easily could ve been dishonest so that he could make more money but he, instead, wanted to look out for myself and my wallet.There was one other time I had them check my brakes out because they were making this screeching noise (and still are). He told me in order to fix that issue I would have to replace the entire thing which would cost me thousands of dollars to do. He told me that my brakes are in good working condition other than the screeching noise and that he doesn t want to see me spend all this money when my brakes work just fine. And on top of that, he didn t even charge me for even taking a look at my brakes!!These guys are just so honest and helpful and I appreciate that about them! They have been amazing to work with on all the work they've done on our van! I needed a new transmission and they gave us all the information with integrity. They helped us understand our options with clarity and they didn't try to get a sale. They made sure we were taken care of with honesty. I work in Zanesville during the week, but I live in Cleveland. My Check Engine light came on last week and I was told by an auto parts store to go to Aamco on Linden Ave because he trusted their work. I went into Aamco and Ron was fantastic. The shop was full, but he took 20 minutes out of his busy schedule to assist me. He contacted the GMC Dealership in town and tried helping me get an appointment. He gave me some advice to help put me at ease. I was able to schedule an appointment in Cleveland and drive back, but Ron went out of his way to assist me and it says a lot about his character and the way he runs his business. I would recommend anyone to use this Aamco location for any automotive needs. Thank you for all your assistance with my situation!

This review is long overdue, but still very sincere. I want to give the highest recommendation possible for Russ Evans and his incredible customer service. I live out of county, but was in Zanesville for a medical appointment. My husband Don urged me to stop by the shop unannounced to discuss the possibility of scheduling a transmission flush. Don went in and talked to Russ. Russ came out very shortly and checked the transmission fluid, and said he did not see a need for a flush. He then volunteered to test drive my van to further assess for any transmission issues. After the drive, he did not see any need for services at that time. We tried to pay Russ for his time and professional opinion, but he refused any payment.In summary, Russ not only helped us without an appointment; but also went the extra mile by test-driving our van, didn t recommend any unnecessary services, gave us his best professional assessment, and didn t charge us a dime. We have used his shop before for our other vehicle, and will definitely return when we need future service. Thanks Russ!

Ron made me feel comfortable on the phone immediately that they could help fix my car's problem without charging me a fortune! In a matter of days, they diagnosed the problem, order the part, tore down the transmission and replaced the damaged part with the new one, put it back together and saved me $6000!!! Russ explained to my son how the specific transmission he has works and how to take care of it. They are very calm, relaxed and certainly know what they are doing! Thanks for helping us out!! This is an amazing shop! They not only do transmissions, but everything else. It's a one stop shop. Ron and Russ are fantastic! Can't ask for a better couple of guys. My truck has been there twice under my extended warranty plan. I'm a car guy, so it's really hard for me to trust someone else working on my vehicles. But they made me feel very comfortable. Very friendly and knowledgeable, and honest to a fault. Even if it means losing work. If you need mechanical work done, this is the place to go! Thanks again to the both of you! You did an amazing job! Will do business again.

Called in and had a question and Russ told me to bring my car right in and he checked it out and everything. He was a really nice guy and provided the best customer service I've ever had from a mechanic! 5 out of 5 stars for sure! Best transmission shop around!

I was traveling thru town when my transmission went on me. I ended up here and Russ and Ron took the best care of me. They were sensitive to the issue of me being a traveler. They worked out all the warranty details and even drove me back and forth to a hotel! I still had a 7 hour drive home after they fixed my transmission and I haven't had any issue since. Those guys were amazing!

Russ was a great help! So refreshing to see excellent customer service from a transmission shop. Honesty and integrity are hard to come buy in this business, and these guys have it! Went in for a free check up of my car after I thought I might have some transmission problems. Russ was very thorough in his explanations, and walked me through each step as he was doing it. It was very helpful in figuring out what needed to be fixed, and overall I felt good about the experience. As a consumer, it was nice to have information given to me in a clear manner while also feeling like I was being educated on what was happening with the car, and what could be done to remedy it.

I had my transmission rebuilt here. I experienced a couple issues a couple weeks after the work was done. Ron had me bring my vehicle back in. The technicians there were able to fix the issues rather quickly and sent me on my way. It s been a couple weeks and everything is still running smoothly.
