Came in for radiator services. Sat for 45min to and hour before pulled into a bay. After services were completed I was told to start my car and rev between 1 and 2 rmps. My car cut off. They proceeded to ask for a payment even tho my car just cut off in the middle of a test. I said my car cut off. They went back up under the hood to proceed to ask me if I had any problems with my breaks. I said no. Now all of a sudden my break line snapped and that s what s causing my car to cut off and jerk while in park and or drive. Worst experience ever. Manager said he was going to look at my car never came out or pulled me into a bay immediately.

Lost the bolts to my skid plate, started to let me pull out with it hanging. Apparently they thought zip ties were a good replacement. After zip ties broke, went back and the said they fixed it. They did not. Zip ties again. Son just went this past Tuesday, told him they put bolts in. Nope. Long time customer...not anymore, and will never recommend this place to anybody. Update,took truck to certified mechanic, and it took him 2 hrs to get filter off. Been there atleast 3 or 4 oil changes. I wish I could post a picture. If you. Value you automobile, stay away!!! -5 stars

They did an awesome job, and were super friendly. I was in and out after requesting an oil change, transmission fluid change, and my serpentine belt changed all within an hour. I could not be happier with the service I received.

I came here today just for a scan and a top off. I parked with another car on the other line. There were only 2 of us. After waiting for more than 30 mins this guy came out telling me I needed to switch with the black car since she came before me and the car infront of her needed extra service. I have a child in the car with me and have been waiting for more than 30 mins. Just for a scan and a top off. It would have only taken like 5 mins. I've always parked and it doesn't even matter if you're first or not. It all depends on what the car before you needs help with. And then the car who came in last got in before me. So I became the last one. I waited some more and I just left. That is unfair IMO. I've always done my oil change and other services with this place. Hit or miss with these workers here. Some are nice and some are just biased. 1/24/2024

The supervisor working today 1/5/23 in boardman very rude and unprofessional. Needs professional etiquette training and how to communicate with customers. Brought my vehicle in for an oil change and been having problems ever since. Been taking it back weekly and my vehicle was running terrible. I took I somewhere else and they informed my oil was very dirty and I never got an oil change which I paid valvoline 100 for a service that wasn t done. The last time I came there out of the 3 times they claim I had an oil leak which I do not!! Made me buy another court of synthetic oil and told me to get it serviced. When I did now the smart mouth supervisor said I should have brought it back when I took it somewhere else to double check if it line up with what they were saying. He became rude, refuse to listen to my concerns and at one point removed the phone from his ear. Calling corporate! Want my money and will never bring my vehicle back there!!

They make you wait 30 minutes for you to pull into the bay open your hood and tell you they don t have the oil filter in stock. It happened to me and the car in front of me. Yet they have a gentleman that comes out and asked what service you re getting while you re waiting out there wouldn t you think he would check the filter while you re sitting there waiting for 30 minutes?

Excellent service, and they do professional quality checks. They did check air filter, and it was from my car ( no switch from other dirty filter as other post suggested ) and yes mine did need changed. The had fair pricing and good discounts.Would highly recommend.

4th car in line including the car in the bay when I pulled up. 1hr 30mins later they start on the 3rd car. Definitely not a quick oil change.

Stopped in for a routine oil change. After the oils change while at still on the garage my car wouldn t start properly. They said oh what a coincidence! You suddenly need a new battery while you are right here in our garage! I get the new battery. They wiped out my computer because apparently they don t have a memory saver. They never mentioned this possibility to me before so when this happened they said oh sorry you have to go to Honda to get this fixed. This experience took over two hours and they didn t offer any compensation for my lost time or inconvenience or the damage they caused.Services: Battery, Oil change

Just had the oil changed on our ford bronco. Had to listen to the staff bash our vehicle the entire time. Said it was poorly designed and that ford means found on road dead. I have never experienced such unprofessional service. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but be smart enough to keep it yourelf while the customer is there.Obviously, won't be back.

Wasn't told the prices before and even with a coupon it's twice as expensive as the dealership. Had the oil changed and noticed that the skid plate was dragging on the ground. Had to go back to have it reinstalled correctly. Wasn't expecting a refund or anything but they didn't even apologize. Now I'm wondering if they made any other mistakes. Will not be returning and I'd suggest others avoid this place.Also, they tried to sell me several other things that were completely unnecessary according to the manufacturer of the car.

Usually I have a great experience at Valvoline but on today it was very disturbing the young lady who's working thereLied I'm sitting waiting for my turn I was greeted by a young man everything's going like it's supposed to another car pull up after me the young lady greeted the guy who just pulled up then she comes to me and asked me what I was here for I said a top off and she asked was I greeted already I said yes the gentleman told me to stay right here she then proceed to make me and the other guy move spaces so now he's being serviced before me I'm just there for a top off then I asked another guy who works there that was getting off why did this happen he went to make excuses for her then she comes to me and says it's the order I'm confused at this point what do you mean the order I'm simply here for a top off and was sitting 20 minutes before this man got here and now you're working on his car and I'm still waiting at this point I'm frustrated I asked her what did you say to me when you came to me you asked me did someone come greet me right and what did I say she then says I said no!! lady then says I'm sorry you did say you was greeted it's been a long day so I goes to say you just lied in my face like that like really I'm over it I really didn't want to go there like is it the color of my car or the color of my skin or was it because I was just getting the top off I have two vehicles that I get service there it ain't cheap with discounts and all ,I'll just stopped dealing with Boardman and just go to back to Liberty

I enjoy getting my oil changed here.. Each time I enter here everyone is very professional and helpful. They check to make sure everything is full and correct in all my fluids. They suggest changing things but do not just put them in, they ask first. They also communicate with the rest of their teambso that everyone is on the same page. When leaving they always thabk me for coming and wish me well as I pull off.

Just wasted over 30 minutes after being told 10 mins. Watched everyone that came in after me go ahead of me because the man in my lane was having everything and anything done. The employees never came over and suggested moving me to another lane. Needless to say I left with no oil change.

I stopped using this place years ago because A) They try to sell you on EVERYTHING! I had went to auto zone and bought new wipers, had them put on then went here for an oil change. The guy tried to tell me I needed new wipers, my wipers were 45 minutes old. B) My wife goes there yesterday because she didn't have time and this place was open and wouldn't you know it, $131.00 for an oil change and air filter! I don't know how this place is still in business. This place is literally the most expensive by FAR and then you have to sit there while they try to sell you everything they have. Its awkward, expensive and just not a pleasant experience at all. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. ANY other place you choose will be cheaper and not awkward.Service: Oil change

Our first visit. Had about a 30 minute wait because of how busy they were but we did not mind. The service was great. They were informative, quick and took time to answer our questions without making us feel rushed or like they didn't have time. Amazing friendly knowledge staff!!!

I do most of my own oil changes but needed to have one done (winter and no enclosed garage right now). I was very impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of the entire team here. Highly recommend giving them a try if you need their services.

Used a Groupon, asked for blend oil, got full synthetic, no extra charge for mistake. Overall a good place for about a 20 min oil change.

I use this business consistently because I find their service good to excellent. Today, Charles fixed a pop-up on my dash concerning an oil change, which I had just had before taking a trip, and in addition informed me of free checkups that are available at Valvoline and will probably be invaluable during the winter months. These guys use to be so fast a few years ago and now it s so slow it s unbelievable! They constantly tell you to move from this lane to that lane. It s so chaotic. We stopped for an oil change (without an appointment) while we were running errands. Though the wait was pretty long, it wasn't so bad because the manager on duty (John) was watching lines, greeting and directing customers, and letting people know estimated wait times (other workers also helped). Everyone was super friendly, the employees seemed to work together and communicate well, the service was good and fast, and there wasn't any pressure to add extra services (just politely asked). My front headlight was out a few nights ago. I ended up at Valvoline in Boardman. They couldn t have been nicer. They didn t have the bulb on site but called and had it delivered. The entire process took about 30 minutes (maybe less). I highly recommend them!
