Was going to bring my cadillac claim to Gerber but it took about 2 minutes of talking to the front desk woman to literally turn around and walk out to call somewhere else. She did not only have 0 interest in helping me resolve my claim but was sharp, cold and almost happy to keep telling me no that everything I expected they cannot do. It was amazing really the one woman back to the right even seen the situation unfolding partly as I did and at least offered some reasoning behind why and how which was nice she should b the 1 up front if u ask me. It was the 1 bit of help, understanding or anything that reassembled customer service. Which I will add is not un common pretty much everywhere i go these days. I will also add that I am very understanding and am a public reviewer on Google of which 90% r positive because I am positive so I look for positivity there was none here. As for the work they do I researched and found average no more no less. Someone said they used to true to form which I gathered is a bad thing? Not sure the origin there but don't expect much help from the front desk besides leaving frustrated and confused. BTW I started nothing short of sunny and tried to keep and pass on that attitude upon arrival and up to about 75% into our conversation. Didn't matter the respect was not mutual it was obvious I was just a thing in front of her that was being a bother and I shouldn't dare ask if I could leave my car there while the claim was being finalized. Which did Beacon not only let me do but they were happy to help me with literally EVERYTHING else i had to resolve or figure out. Even after the fact they have been very pleasant and encouraging throughout this whole miserable process.

The service at Gerber Collision was great !! They fixed rear damage on my Jeep and did an excellent job! From the first phone call to the final pick up- top notch!!

The service I received from Gerber Collision and Glass in Youngstown Ohio was excellent! The staff is kind and courteous. I would totally recommend them. This was my first experience with them due to my insurance company. I so appreciate their professionalism. They were upfront and Friendly. They kept me updated and handled my rental. My vehicle looks amazing!!

I've never been in an accident before, but there's a first time for everything! The person who hit my car had an insurance company that has a preferred partnership with Gerber. After reading reviews I felt confident in trying them out. I certainly hope I won't need their services in the future but I will definitely be back if I ever do. The entire process was extremely professional and the staff are friendly & informative. The communication was also top notch, which is very important to me.

The work performed by this body shop was beyond impressive! Not only did they communicate with me daily, via text messages, but I received daily phone calls as well. The work they performed on my SUV, involved replacing a back panel over a wheel well and painting my vehicle. The replacement part was a perfect match and the paint job was flawless. But what impressed me the most was the fact that they detailed the interior of my vehicle before they returned it to me and this is my DOG TRUCK, meaning dog hair was throughout the SUV not only on the seats but on the carpet mats. When I picked up my SUV it was spotless! I was VERY impressed. It took somebody at LEAST 2 hours to clean the interior of my truck . And it was part of the service! As an insurance agent (and they didn t know I was an agent) with quite a large book of business, I will certainly convey my experience to my clients. They said 10 days, they finished in 2!I picked this shop because it was lined up with my insurance. They initially would not tell me when the car would be finished, and I pried out of them an answer of about 10 days. But later that same day they said it would be ready by Friday. About a day later, around 5:00 pm, they said I could pick it up before they close. Gary was very good at explaining everything. There was a payment confusion involving the insurance company and I overpaid, but Gerber contacted me and refunded what I overpaid to them, so I'm very happy they made the right ethical decision.Service: Body & Trim

After an accident, we were referred to Gerber Collision by the insurance company for an estimate and body work. The staff here is excellent and super easy to work with! My car looks good as new and was done within the week which I know is unheard of these days. We were lucky that Honda parts were easily available. We took our vehicle to Gerber after it had moderate front-end damage from a crash. Our insurance company guarantees their work so the insurance company got us all set up with Gerber. They quickly gave an estimate and got started on the work. The customer service was outstanding because they called multiple times to give me updates. I didn't ever have to sit around wondering what was happening with the vehicle and when I would hear from them. They made sure to complete the repair as quickly as possible. When we picked the vehicle up you couldn't even tell it was in an accident. It looked absolutely perfect!!! They also cleaned the inside of the vehicle and made it look very nice. We were very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend Gerber to anyone. Thank you for the great customer service!

I have to say that the repair has exceeded our expectations. The team even brushed up an old scuff that wasn't in the original claim. The customer service was excellent, updates on status via text message, plus calls to confirm pick up time. Finally, the team went above and beyond by detailing the interior of our car prior to pick up. It looks brand new inside and out. Thank you.

Had them replace my windshield they broke every clip that holds the windshield trim on. Just left it didn't even tell me they broke it just tried to hide it. I'd go anywhere else for glass replacement. I wouldn't even trust them to fix my car after an accident, will probably skip steps to save money.Service: Auto glass repairService: Auto glass repair

They are great! They communicated with me throughout the entire process. I was hit by another driver and their insurance took care of everything. Gerber was recommended to me, and they did not disappoint. The work done was meticulously done right.

I recently had my truck fixed here after I was backed into in a parking lot. I was recommended by State Farm, as they are an official shop for them. The lady at the desk was nice every time I was in there, and so were the guys that went over everything with me. The truck was done on time, and I was updated several times along the way. The work was amazing, and it looks just like new. An added benefit is how close to Hertz and Enterprise the shop is. Hertz came and picked me up within minutes of dropping off the truck, and I was even able to leave the rental at Gerber to be picked up later by Hertz. The whole experience was great and I would heavily recommend them to anyone.

Went in for an estimate for a repair on my vehicle. Great customer service. The auto industry is messed up and parts are hard to get. No fault on Gerber's part.

Took my car in on a Thursday for an estimate and by the following monday I was scheduled in for repairs. I was told it would be done by Friday and it was actually done by the next day! TUESDAY! And it looked absolutely beautiful! Even my husband was happy and he is hard to please! I will always recommend Gerber Collision! They are so friendly and so helpful! Debi & Jen were a joy to talk with and Casey was great at keeping me up to date on repairs. And whoever does the clean up afterwards is AMAZING!! My car has never been cleaner!

First time using Gerber to repair body damage to my vehicle. Their communication was excellent along the repair process, as well as sending me text updates. Sean was very professional and helpful, and my vehicle was done a day earlier than originally quoted. I would recommend them.

I had an accident in 2019 and my insurance covered it. The bill was high but I only had to pay deductible. The work done was good and my car runs fine still in 2021. I would recommend them if your insurance or someone else's insurance is paying. They have deals with major insurance providers to help with repairs. I'm not entirely sure what that means but you could probably ask about it.Call ahead of time because they are on an appointment only schedule I think because of the Covid virus. The place is clean and offers coffee while you wait. Covid safety measures are in place at this location.Thanks again Gerber for the work in 2019.

I had a fantastic experience with Casey (I hope I spelled it correctly). He was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I had my car repaired here nearly a year ago and I began having issues with a sensor that may have been impacted then but didn t show issues until now, as well as my windshield wiper fluid reservoir holding fluid. He initially was only assessing whether the issues were from the original accident and taking pictures to check if it would be covered under their guarantee. I waited about 30-40 minutes and he came out to inform me that he replaced the sensor and fixed the wiper fluid issue (not from the accident). No charge. It was such a relief! A lot of places tend to take advantage it seems but on both occasions that I used this repair shop everything was smooth, easy, and upfront. Thank you, Casey!

Was in a car accident tow truck driver try to take my car there on Thursday about 2 PM Mr attitude behind the deck wanted to know if l had appointment since when do you need an appointment to drop a car off after an accident.He said will need to make an appointment. very rude so l just left and took my car some where else.Just a FYI to the owner:::If your wondering why your business is not doing well check out the person working on the front line.

i have had my car in this shop twice with in a month of each other from being in two non fault accidents. they have done an amazing job both times friendly staff i even got my car back earlier than projected they are very hard working! thank you guys for the great work. Also they keep u informed on the progress of your car

Worst experience with an auto body shop I have ever had. Showing up, the process was strange and put us off, but our insurance company made us drive 45 minutes to use them. We never got updated pictures like we were told and it was magically done 3 days early. 3 weeks later, we have large hard bubble. We go back and the General Manager stated how she will get Kevin to look at it but it isn't covered. We have a certificate stating it will be cover and either way, 3 weeks after body work, it should not have problems. That just proves to me they do subpar work and rely on blaming prior damage. She continued to push and continued to show us, explain how they won't cover their work if you had any work or rust near where they did any paint. Instead of letting us talk to the person that must make the call, she kept at us. Most managers know to not keep pushing issues until all the information is in, as it upsets people. But she continued. Well until the kids showed up that were the the whole time we were last time. Then she disappeared to be with them. Kevin explains that they won't warranty any of their work. How once they took the paint off there was this hole, we were never told or showed pictures of and how they don't fix anything. Just slap on paint and go. The whole process was a scam. Now they are pushing it off on our insurance company. I have dealt with body shops before and never had this horrible of treatment, this bad of work or this blatant disguard for customer.

I came to the shop 1 hour prior to closing and the first thing they wanted to know if I was using insurance or self pay; then there was no one available for a quote.I Was then told they probably would not be able to Help me as they are scheduling into July. I understand schedule concerns however the conversation was as if I was bothering them.I drove 3 minutes away to King Collision and had a quote in 5 minutes and they were closing as I was walking in.
