I brought my car to 2 other shops to get a power steering leak fixed. The told me I needed new lines and a cooler. Then I brought my vehicle here and Rodney inspected the problem and my lines and cooler were fine. Anyway he fixed it for a lot cheaper than the other shops would and he did great work. I recommend this place.

They helped me get my car back on the road. Some one tampered with my car and loosen up stuff shouldn't be loosen up. They was being truthful let me know I thought it was going to cost way too much but it was cheap I appreciate it and the fact they took the time out of all other customers to check out the problem they've helped me and my family out. Been coming here for years. Great service. It's not cheap to get vehicles worked on, but trust that your getting good work done and they care about thier customers.

Just finished my first time getting work done on my car here. So far Rodney and his crew are 1/1 on great service. For my air conditioning fixed in less than a day despite the lot being full of cars. I don't really know anything about cars but he seemed to explain to me step by step what he did so it seems like that is a way of being transparent and making sure I know exactly what I'm paying for. I'll be back next time my car needs work.

Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. My check engine light came on so I took my car to Auto Zone to find out what the error code was. The scan determined a leak in my EVAP System. I called Select Auto for further diagnostics who quickly identified the problem. The repair was a little expensive, but my gas tank had to be lowered to complete repairs. They explained to me in detail what was happening, gave me an estimate, as well as set a time expectation for when repairs would be finished. It only took a day for them to get my car back. I have a 2014 Impala that I labsolutely love. The check engine light is off and my car is running great. Thank you for your professionalism and hard work. It was greatly appreciated! They did good work on my engine from everything I can tell, but do not let these people near your brakes. His only solution to any problem appears to be "replace everything with the cheapest parts I can find at the highest rate I think they'll pay." That lesson cost me well over $500.

Rodney the owner is a straight up honest mechanic and very thorough, one of the best automotive shops in The area. I highly recommend Select Automotive

They drained oil from the car, but never put oil back in the car! Good thing we caught the issue before the engine blew up. Good job on the things you had to fix, but you just can't forget the oil or your work will be for no reason.

I have used Select Auto Repair since moving to Xenia more than a decade ago. They are, by far, the best auto repair shop i have ever used. Great work at fair prices. Disregard the negative post. I have had many dealings with Select Auto and they are top shelf.

I wish the owner could be more patient and on time. If you are the one who has questions when you take your car in for a repair/check, I would suggest you think twice. Did a pre-purchase inspection, it's very vague from the report what has been inspected or not. No list of inspected things. Only one or two lines telling me what I need to change. Not as professional as other shops I had been before. Also, told me they were going to call me back to give me estimate about the parts cost. Never got a call from them after I paid them.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Good place to get repairs. Always Informative. Some of the best repair prices in the area. Never had to come back to fix a recurring problem. I trusted this place to fix the 5 vehicles I ever owned. No problems, great service. All you ever wanted out of a mechanic.

With today's economy most people would like to save money, get fair prices,be treated with respect, and get what they pay for. I feel that this repair service failed to provide me with these expectations for the following reasons: I was not given a form when I dropped off the car giving my permission to do the work, and agreeing to a cost greater than $25.Secondly, I was contacted by phone that the A/C repair would cost $1300. I declined the repair, and after two attempts to pick up the car, handed a bill that exceeded the $25. repair limit by 6imes that amount.Thirdly, when I disputed the amount I was threatened and I called the local police to help resolve it. These are the facts with my experience with this business. For some unknown reason, Google removed my last comments, so this is my second attempt at letting the people know my experience using Google s service.

I hate unfair reviews like the one mentioned earlier. I know the person that left this review and they are trying to scam a good business by trying to leave a bad review in hopes of a free repair. Select auto repair in Xenia is a great honest business that does fabulous work.

Shady car place. I was told service would be $35, never received a car regarding the complexity or that the price would increase. Rodney extorted me by telling, if you don t pay, I ll file for your title . The bill was $264. Normally, if things will cost more money, it s a customary standard to contact you prior to doing work, he didn t. Then he tried to insult my intelligence on the phone ( I m a CPA). Select Auto is a piece of garbage, take your car done to JimHarworth on Detroit Street in Xenia or Fishers Diesel off of Patton street. Stay away from Rodney and Select Auto, they ll try extort you to take your car!

Serviced the transmission on my sister's van, when she got home transmission fluid had sprayed all over the engine compartment. Rodney claimed it was engine coolant (obviously wasn't). Charged an additional $300 to fix his mistake.

A blessing,you got to be kidding! I guarantee that they put it to you good. I'm sure he thanked the Lord when you came into his establishment, especially not knowing anything about automotive repair. This establishment is over priced, does shoddy work, and charges for services that weren't needed or they didn't even do. BOTTOM LINE, this shop needs to be investigated by the States Attorney General for its business practices and shut down.
