In the past I've had several very pleasant experiences with Jamie's in different locations however, this specific review is based on work done over a year ago and I'm just now witnessing the results of. I knew the car was in rough shape due to neglect and I wanted to work out a plan with a mechanic that I could trust to not just take money and charge for servicing blinker fluid.I requested for brake lines to be done on a car that sat for a long enough time for them to rust out. Since the lines were rotted and it was an early 2000s car with 200k mileage, it was safe to assume that other components were worn as well. I asked to replace all of my brake lines/hoses and while they were under the car to give me an estimate on getting whatever else needed done. Waited a few days and got told that just only the lines under the body was bad and that the rest of the car looked good to go with minimal rust (kinda weird I thought because it was a car with 200k miles and was assuming I'd be told everything needed to be replaced). That'll be $$$ though. I knew that shop prices jumped considerably but I figured when I paid nearly four figures to have brake lines/hoses done that it'd be ALL of them. Error on my part.Within a month of getting the car back my, suspension had a catastrophic failure with me being left stranded in the middle of the road. At first I though nothing of it because of the condition of the car itself. I had it towed back to Jamie's and since I knew it was a suspension piece that broke, I asked for an estimate for both sides. Instead I got offered to replace only a broken linkage, an alignment and to do my break lines again for another 4 figures of labor with parts that'd barely cross a couple hundred dollars (and that was just starting estimate because I later discovered more things broke but weren't clearly visible). Not holding it against the shop, I decided I'd do it myself since I wanted more than piece meal repairs on suspension for that much.Fast forward a while later to me putting the car on jacks and looking at the carnage, I realized that my lower control arm was worn enough to snap and it took my linkage and passenger side axle along with it (fwd). This was irritating since these were things I asked to be looked at. Then I began looking at parts to order including what I'd thought would be just one brake line to my caliber, only to discover that that the hose was as old and rusty as what was probably the original suspension on the car. Looking further into my braking system I realized that only the leaking line was replaced and nothing else. Many of the items are visibly rusted/worn as suspected.Initially I didn't want to badmouth because of previous good work but I feel this needed to be said regarding being a little more transparent with customers about the work done, what was inspected and if possible showing them instead of me finding out on my own down the road.I still think Jamie's is one of the better shops compared to the many who will try to sell a single mom premium fish oil for her last dollar.I initially gave a 2 rating but will bump to 3 since the line that was replaced is still fine. However, I got charged a shiny COVID penny and shoved out the door for what felt like a quick turn and burn profit. I knew getting work done on the car wouldn't be easy and cheap but I was hoping that my last visit would be the start of a series of visits to get the car mechanically sorted out but instead solidified my decision to do self repair.

Took two wheels in for new tires, paid $70 to have both wheels damaged when tires were installed, I complained about the damage and they asked what they could do to fix their mistake. I told them I wanted a refund since I ll have to have my wheels fixed and to remove the tires which they did. They told me after I get them fixed to bring them back and they will mount and balance the tires for free. (I ll update this after everything is settled.)

We have used Jamie's Tire & Service Xenia in the past and they have always done great work with a reasonable price. On Saturday morning I got a bolt in my tire and called to see if they had any appointments. They were booked but told me they'd fit me in if I could drop it off. They took care of plugging the tire and it was half the price of a new tire! I highly recommend them for their customer service and quality work.

My husband and I were having issues getting our scheduled work done with a different auto repair shop so we decided to try a more local shop to see if we could get our car in sooner. Jamie's was the first on our list to call and we're glad it was! An associate actually answered the phone the first time we called! He was very professional and respectful over the phone. We were able to tell him the issues we were having with our car and he got our paperwork in and said we could drop it off to be looked at the next business day. Before the shop even technically opened on the next business day, we got a call from a staff member informing us that they had received the car and would be looking at it soon. A couple hours later, we received a text with a link and a phone call with the full report and estimates with pictures and priority levels for repairs. The prices were just as expected for our vehicle, not super cheap or crazy expensive. We ended up getting our fixed car back that same day and after driving it for about a week now, it is running very smoothly with all issues resolved. Thank you Jamie's for your great communication, costumer service and repairs! I'm sure we'll be back

The service at Jamie s was awesome! They made time for me at the end of the day to patch my tire, and got it done in 20 minutes. They took all the stress out of what was a stressful situation for me. I couldn t believe how quickly and easily they got it done for me. I will be coming back for their services in the future!

Cameron and Jamie's Tire of Xenia, Ohio 45385 took on my vehicle twice now in a month's timeframe and knocked out emergency repairs on it like they were coloring a school project... They're professional, family friendly, competent, knowledgeable, affordable, and thus far nothing that my vehicle required they knew and had the parts and skills readily available for my needs. Great service but they should look into investing a "memory saver" that plugs into the cars OBD port to power the car while the battery is out. They gave mine back after replacing the battery and it had all sorts of trouble that it had to "re-learn". The car isn't very new so nothing too drastic. I'd be very frustrated if they just wiped all my settings, ect... with a newer car. Simple to prevent since the tool cost less than 100$Otherwise trustworthy shop! Thanks Jamie

I had a tire with a slow leak. I called Jamie s in Xenia and made an appointment. When I arrived, the doors were held open for me and I was welcomed. The tire was repaired, the doors were held open for me, and I was on my way! Awesome!

Let see I called talked to a guy named Brad told him I needed brakes and rotors so he gave me a quote of 450 for my truck and I would have to pay for the inspection to make sure it was what I said it was . Had my brother take the truck in for me that was at 9 am on Wednesday 1-3-24 . At round 330 I called to see what was going on. Again remind you I talked to a guy named Brad well they apparently just got my truck in so he came back on the phone and said someone would get back to me. Well bout 10 minutes later brain called said I needed more done . I said I was quoted 450 for brakes and rotors he told me I needed more that the price was a way more then they said so I told them I would have my brother just come get my truck so they charged me for the tire rotation ( which I thought if you you buy tires from them it was free) well I paid for that . I took my truck on Friday to a different place and I only needed brakes and rotors so my thought is if your going to screw people out of money get a female that don't know much about vehicles. I'll never use Jamie's again. Csmith

Had taillight bulbs replaced a difficulty with stiff fingers . Even know this is a not a Hugh money generating project for the shop. I will keep it in mind for my next larger work on the car professional treatment speaks volumes

This guys are great. Very professional. Had a slow leak in my tire and they got me in right away (with a scheduled appointment). Normally if a get work done I ll make and appointment. But this was a pop up thing I needed done ASAP. And they did an awesome job getting me in and out quickly. Thank you guys.

Quick service, helpful tips from front Guys, overall pleasant experience, and I have a fleet of trucks I have serviced. Most places are a Bad experience. Jamie's is really good place to deal with.

I tuck my wrangler jeep in to get a couple things done they got me in the very next day and I had it done they did a good job I want some other things done and I trust to take it back to Jamie's

Did a great job on some front end work on my truck. Also allowed me to provide my own preferred parts. Only complaint is their hourly rate seems pretty high, but I guess most shop's are these days.

Cameron was very polite and professional. He set us up over the phone with an apt that worked best for us giving us options to choose from. Upon arrival we were acknowledged right when we walked in the door and Cameron came right over and got us checked in. Another team member advised us if findings during our visit and recommended other needed services that we could do then or come back for. Once our troubled tire was fixed Cameron got us checked out and listened earlier to our plans and told my young daughter to have fun making cookies. The small conversation with her made her smile and when we got in the truck she said he sure was nice. First time at Jamie's and the staff that was there was very impressive. We need more business with this staff in Xenia. Thank you to all who helped us and got us fixed up as the garage team was on top of it. Great job guys!!!

Didn't feel like rotating my tires myself so I brought it here. Dropped it off in the morning, and it was done well before lunch. They even went out of their way to answer questions they didn't have to.

Jaime s Goodyear is the place to go for tires! Always very customer friendly & patient. This purchase I made was for all 2 new Goodyear Assurance tires for my Honda Accord. I also asked for a rear brake inspection because I wanted 2nd opinion because a dealership said I needed new pads & rotors. The photographic evidence showed the rotors were great & I still had 5mm left on the rear pads! They could ve try to upsell me now to replace them but they didn t!

Took our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan to Jamie's for some tire rotation/balancing, and one front tire needed replacement. As always, Jamie's Xenia did excellent work, and even saved us money too. Thank God for their customer care.

Guys are always real helpful at explaining things and recommending needed repairs. Have been coming for at least 20yrs plus. Try to recommend every chance I get.
