Great prices, friendly service, super communication throughout andy vehicle was completed on time. Has never tried to sell me something I didn't need. Helped to educate me on my vehicle but not talking down to me. It's awesome to have a local honest and talented mechanic shop here is Wooster. We have sent many friends to Jim's auto and will continue to do so!

Professional service well done and I didn't see a spot of grease in my car which had happened in the past from other places. They were up front and kept in touch with me and let me know that something else need to be done and Steve is a great mechanic! Update!!Just had all four tires replaced and some extra work done on my car took less than an hour it was great. I love this place.And they won't talk down to you, just because you don't know what you're doing, everything was explained on what was happening to my car. He's a great person and has great employees! Sometimes it's hard to get through for a phone call because of how busy it is, but he has the best pricing and I can trust him with my vehicle!

When I hear a noise that isn t normal, Jim and his team are always willing to take our Rav 4 for a drive and listening for that noise. Very knowledgeable! Under no time constraints, I heard about the Elks organization, watched a steady and never ending stream of friends/customers. The price to replace rotors was reasonable and allowed my brakes to actually stop the vehicle. All in all I had a very good time watching the activity. And by the time I left with a car in much better condition I had a smile on my face. An interesting and enlightening afternoon to say the least. Thanks Jim to you and the men working with you. Been to quite a few auto repair shops but Jim's was by far the best. Friendly and helpful staff. They were able to get me in Fast and out in a lot less time than I expected. Excellent service. I had a busted back window on my 2005 Honda CRV, and they had a replacement on site and install it that same day, which saved me money. Great price, fast service, and excellent communication throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Jim's AC for all repair needs and will be back again.

Jim has always taken good care of me and those I care about. He has helped me through insurance claims, simple auto issues, general diagnostics, tire replacement, and overall safety and roadworthiness analysis. Jim s auto is hands down the best place for me. Because they are so good at what they do and always honest in their diagnosis, it may take a while sometimes to get my truck in, but I can rest assured they will find the problem and make the needed repairs right the first time. I also appreciate knowing they feel comfortable making suggestions on what may need fixed later down the road without doing what most other shops do fixing or replacing way more then is actually needed. Jim s team will always let me know if I have a safety issue but if it can wait until another time or needs to be monitored they will let me know that as well. Plus as an added bonus, the staff is personable and very polite. That s a dying trait in auto shops.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Transmission repair, Auto maintenance

I was so happy that Jim could get me in for an oil change so quickly. I had a trip coming up and my car was telling me to get the oil changed. I called and it was done within a week thanks Jim.

I ve been taking my vehicles to Jim exclusively since 2014. He does great work at reasonable prices. My dad told me years ago that when you find an honest mechanic you stick with them. I really love this place. I don't really get along with a lot of mechanics in this area. My dad used to be one, so i only go in when i need to use tools i have no access to, or if i need to lift my vehicle. Jim and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, quick, and professional. They have a no bs mentality, and you can tell they know cars. The lot is always full, and and the cars there, ALWAYS change. Lastly, their priced well. I've never had a mechanic that i've not had to argue with on something for a while. This man knows his stuff.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I originally towed my vehicle to a Large well known commercial dealership closer to me, however, I received such poor service that by the 4th day of cat and mouse games, my warranty company suggested I re-tow my vehicle to Jim s. I called Jim s and everyone I spoke to was friendly, helpful and even called me back with details about the job. I was told what the average cost would be and when it should be ready in which, after pulling a few teeth at the other dealership equated to being 1/3 the cost, And repaired within the exact same amount of time as it literally sat, untouched at the previous location. Furthermore unlike Jim and Denise, Big Dealership Chris was very unprofessional and admitted to just being bored and having nothing to do , Chris, the service technician went out of his way to make me feel uncomfortable. However, Jim and Denise went out of their way to be kind, helpful, informative and timely. Had the A/C repaired. The staff was friendly, courteous, and walked me back to show me the issue. Have ice cold air after two weeks and it feels lovely. Already recommended them to others.

Well I normally will not write a bad view but I am extremely disappointed. First, I take the truck in for a couple small suspension repairs, brake repairs and an oil change. After having the truck for over a week without an update I started to call every couple days and it seemed like noone had a clue when It would get done. Finally after 2 weeks of them having the truck I get a call saying it was done. When they called I asked the receptionist if everything on the list I had given Jim had gotten fixed or taken care of and she assured me it did. So I went and picked up my truck and upon getting it home I was looking over the receipt and realized it didn't show an oil change or the other suspension hanger I had wrote on the list and specifically told them to change. So I crawled under the trick and checked the oil and neither had been changed... so now after not having my truck for over 2 weeks I have to take it to another shop to get the suspension hanger changed and oil changed. Very disappointed as I gave them a list so things would not get missed. Definitely wasted my time and can't recommend in the future.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair

First time using Jim's Auto it was to do a safety check on my car. The man gave me a list of things that were wrong but said the most important thing was my oil leak told me as long as I keep an eye on it. My car is okay. The first thing I would fix he said was brakes and rotors after that find out where the oil leak was. He said Jim's Auto is the best mechanic shop that I have ever had the experience of going to. I highly recommend Jim's Auto to anyone and everyone that needs their car repaired. He doesn't try to sell you stuff that you don't need. He doesn't try to fix things that aren't broken. He's a very good man. He treats his customers like their family. I love the day before text reminder. Very nice secretary. Staff was courteous, explained what needed done. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Appt was scheduled in a timely manner. I ve been coming here for car service for several years now. He is an excellent mechanic, old school though the classic mechanic if you will. Excellent skills and sound quality work. He is not fast however, expect a wait and poor call back response time. Have patience and you will be happy with your service. Really nice guy.
