I had to have my Jeep reworked after driving in a flood. The staff here were very helpful and actually had to rebuild my engine. I really appreciated Jared's updates and the mechanics resolve to rebuild my engine!! I wish I could give them more stars! Thank you Hartley Team!!

It is hard to find a good honest mechanic when you travel full time. When we started having problems with our Jeep, Hartley's was recommended to us. I was a little nervous at first but these guys proved that they know what they are doing by fixing the cause of our problem and not just fixing the symptoms. They are very informative, honest, diligent, helpful, and affordable.

Hartley s Auto Repair was a Godsend for my wife and I. We were on a two-day drive to Midland, MI for Santa Claus School and stopped at a Harvest Host to sleep in our van in Wooster, Ohio. Next morning, the van wouldn t start. It sounded like it was out of gas and had a full tank. Called AAA for tow-truck and started calling internet repair shops. Several calls later and several of the shops we called were too busy to even try and help, except the guys at Hartley s. They said they would see what they could do. Chris and Jarrod got to work right away and identified the problem as a bad relay. Turns out the fuel pump was working fine but the relay was bad. They ordered the part plus explained everything they were doing. We replaced two other relays that they showed us since they were as corroded as the one that failed. Our van is 23 years old and they recommended the other relays so we wouldn t have a possible problem in the future. Chris and Jarrod could have hit us for a lot of money or told us we needed a fuel pump, etc. They did none of that. Our bill was $120, we were there for about two hours while waiting for the parts and we observed that they treat everyone the way they treated us. I wish they were in our area instead of ten hours up the road. If you live close to Hartley s then consider yourself lucky. They are honest, hardworking young men.

I have always had a "fleet" of vehicles; several sports cars, vans, and trucks. Likewise, it seems like I've always been in a constant search for the right auto repair center with that elusive combination of great service, quality repair, professionalism, fair pricing, along with a friendly and caring attitude.I'm happy to report, quite by accident, an auto repair facility that fits that magical combination of servicing. For the last year, I have been taking all of my vehicles for servicing to Hartley's Auto Repair.It was last summer when I purchased a 1996 Corvette that had been on display for sale in Hartley's parking lot. This was a vehicle that had been stored for many years, and the owner from whom I purchased it had it "resurrected from the dead" by Hartley's. I was provided the paperwork for all of the extensive repair work that had been done to the car in order to get it back on the road and running in tip-top performance.Subsequent to the sale, there were a couple minor things that needed to be tweaked, so naturally I took it back to Hartley's and they took care of everything very quickly and in an accommodating manner, without charging me a dime; I was pretty impressed.Since that time, I've had Jared work on several of my other vehicles with great success, providing personal servicing that I've never before experienced anywhere else.It's always such great feeling when you find a great restaurant, a great subcontractor, or even a great plumber, and this is exactly what I've experienced with Hartley's Auto Repair.I recommend Hartley's without reservation. I trust in their capability for providing great servicing to all of my vehicles.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

Jared did a great job with my car. He gave me an estimate for repairs. He is very reasonably priced. They are extremely professional and the waiting area is very clean. My repairs were completed on time. I would highly recommend them for repairs and will be using them for all my services.

Had my daughter's vehicle repaired here. I live about 3 hours away so I we had to handle everything over the phone. Couldn't ask for better service and nicer people to deal with. Repair was done right and came in a little less than the estimate. That was 2 weeks ago and so far, so good. Would recommend to anyone.

SUPPORT and TRUST this business. We have kids at the college. They made it to move in day just as oil began to spew everywhere. They were able to park it while we asked around for recommendations. Hartley's came from a few and from the moment I called I knew it was going to be in good hands. Even though I told him it wasn't urgent- the boys were safe on campus- at the end of the day he looked and just fixed it . fortunately it was something relatively easy - just super messy. Cost less than where we come from to change the filter and add oil.The honesty was far more important. He could have said it was anything, we are hours away and cant easily get it someplace for a second opinion.it was literally the easiest most simple thing it could have been and that's what he reported and fixed. When we talked he explained he grew up a farmer and then went military and the work ethic is just ingrained in him (pun intended).So very thankful. if you are wondering if you should take your car here- DO!

Didn't even come close to fixing the issue I paid them to fix and also broke my van door while they had my van. It will no longer latch and it did before they had it. So now, not only do I have to pay someone to fix the issue they didn't fix, but I have to pay someone to fix my door. Rather disappointed after I read such positive reviews. I would not recommend them and will never trust them to work on a vehicle of mine again.

Spent $1500 to get my car fixed her + some and my vehicle was still not fixed. Owner just blew it off instead of finding another expert or refunding any of my money.

Would not recommend this shop to anyone. Very childish and immature employees. If there is a problem they will do absolutely nothing to help.

I'm a college student who doesn't know a whole lot about cars and I live three hours away from my regular mechanic. So, when there was a water leak in the interior of my car, I was more than a little panicked. Luckily, I found Hartley's and they took care of the block in my ACs draining system free of charge. Really means a lot to me, as there are definitely some folks that would have taken advantage!Service: Air conditioning

If you need an honest mechanic to work on your vehicle then this is the place very friendly and very professionally shop. Hartleys is the only place that will touch my truck.

Made multiple times for them to look my vehicle they told me they were booked up one day that they would be able to look at it tomorrow then when I call again the next day they told me they would be able look at until Tuesday very unsatisfied
