Had a seal fixed on the rear end of my vehicle it took 3 times going to back to the shop to get it fixed and it's about 25 miles one way the first time it was leaking more than before they so called fixed it,took it backand a few days go by and no call from the shop I call and they say yes it's ready my wife and I go back again pick up the vehicle and this time I stop about 10 miles down the road and yes I leaking again we turn around drop it off at the shop I asked if they test drove the car?They say they did but I'm sure they didn't with it leaking so bad.but we leave the vehicle again the 3 time when talking to the manager he calls me Boss instead of Mr or Sir not very professional and charged me 400.00 for a rusted bolt removal so don't go here safe time and money go somewhere else signed Boss

When we had a problem with our van jerking upon movement, we thought we had a transmission problem and took it to a transmission person. They said it was the catalytic converter, so we called Monroe to get it in. The men took it in, did a disgnostic on it and found it was the spark plugs and coils. They saved us $3000.However, the call center STINKS! The person I talked to didn t understand me and I had to repeat myself multiple times. When I got to the shop, the gentleman told me he didn t understand their message AT ALL. Pkease get rid of the call center and let me talk to someone who know what I am talking about.

I have had Munro work on other cars over the years. I have always been satisfied with their service and the staff has always been very friendly. So, when I had to have my car towed, Monro was the first place to come to mind. Thank you!

Rarely do you find caring, honest businesses but Jim and others were quick and diligent when it came to my car. I would recommend going there, guaranteed I'll go back if need be. God bless them for their honesty and tending to my needs asap! Thank you!!

Me & my 17yr old son had car trouble 3hrs fr our destination of my daughter's near Pittsburgh Pennslyvania. My son called all around. These young men were the only ones to tell us they'd look & most probably fix the issue. So we had it towed here.The employees altho all young men were the best.They were super at answering questions like where to stay while repaired were made, where to eat etc. My daughter & son n law made the 6hr strip tho lol to get us. It took a gd bit longer than date we were given to be ready but all was forgiven! My son even qualified & was able to pay off part of the cost in payments! Great job guys. Great representing your town & state! I recommend them.

I just needed an exhaust respirator replaced on my car.I took my car in the day before my morning appointment.The next day at 11am they called to confirm work needed done.I call back 4 hours later to see when it will be done and they said they were to busy. I had an appointment at 8am.They would get to it the next day.I never received a call, so I showed up and it was done. There were 3 guys standing around in the office and no cars in the bays. They said they forgot to call.I do no recommend going to Monroe.

This location doesn't even deserve a star. I went in there because I needed brake pads on my back end of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I even stated that this is all I wanted at the moment and would be back the next pay period to have the rest of the work done. The staff there seemed pretty decent, and we even joked a bit. One of the mechanics even solicited the vehicles he was selling on the side.About an hour later I called back and was told to get the vehicle because there was nothing they could do. That they were unable to drive the vehicle onto the lift because it had no power. And to top it off the grinding was the back end. I figured they were full of it. So about a week later we had to park the car. My wife felt a pop (when putting on the brakes) and the pedal went to the floor. So we parked it until this past Friday and took it to my mechanic.He informed me that the caliper ruptured and all that was needed was new calipers on the back end and the only problem was a slight leak on my back end which was nothing to replace. He uses OEM parts only, and did it for a lot less than what Monro would have done it for.I don't know if it is Monro's practice to tell customers they need to dispose of their vehicles, and for employees solicit used cars on the side. But trust me, I did learn a lesson. I will never take my vehicles to Monro ever again. And I will be using west End Auto here in Wilmington from here on out.

My new mechanic!I appreciate every worker here. Their customer service excellence approach and transparency for the good will keep me coming back!They serviced my tire which had a nail in it and were shocked to find when they had taken my tire off, that there were two small patch works in close proximity which is a NO NO! and a great hazard! Previously, I always went to a specialized tire center because of my loyalty, in town, for any tire needs so I knew exactly who had put me back on the road and with zero regard.They explained every issue, corrected it and got us In and Out which made a pre planned trip, with my daughter, to a water park, waiting close in que!Thank You sincerely

I had an alignment done on my car a week ago. After driving it a few days I noticed my car still pulled to the right , definitely better than before but still not straight . I called them and they got me in the very next day, I was only available at 430 and they said they would make it work. The mechanic put it back up to check the alignment and even took a picture of the screen to show me that it was in fact off a little. They worked on my car while I waited and gave me another 30 day warranty . They were very pleasant the entire time and made sure I was taken care of . I will definitely be coming back !!

These guys are so awesome. They fixed up my car as soon as they could and gave me honest updates when I would call. I know absolutely nothing about how cars work and they never made me feel stupid once. 10/10 would recommend them.

Never!!!!! Do business with these crooks!!!! They r highly unprofessional and highly overpriced!!! Never leave your vehicle out of your sight if you get one of there famous unreasonable high quotes they quoted me $1200 plus dollar s for a simple job I did myself for $80.and when I picked up my car after quote, it was worse than when i brought it in. This 10000% legit true!!!!! Monroe auto in Wilmington Ohio is CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've had our oil done twice with no problem. They were friendly on the phone and in person. However, when your associate tells us that our tires are pretty much going to blow at any minute and they'll give us new ones for almost $800 and insisted it was the best price I get a little suspicious. Took my car to TWO other places and they said our tires were fine but it wouldn't hurt to get new before winter and for almost HALF the price!! We probably won't be back because of this!

I'd give them a negative if that was an option. $99 for an oil change? I'll learn to change my own oil for that inflated price. I went across the street and had it changed for $17.95.

Took my car there due to a noise I kept hearing and thinking it was something to do with my struts not tightened. They advised me to bring my car they put it up and within minutes they figured it out. They were very friendly and professional. I will continue to take my car back because I know they have great service.

I heard a super loud metal scratching noise so I took it in to see what it was. I thought i needed new brakes. They were pretty busy but looked at my car, they could have lied and said I needed new brakes(I wouldn't have known any different) but pulled out a tiny rock that was stuck in my brakes. Drove it away with no problems. Everyone was nice and helpful..

I always make it a point to go back to them. They are all very friendly, polite and trustwothy. The prices are great and you never have to wait long. I had my oil changed and they even filled my wiper fluid without me asking. Always a great experience!

Called yesterday got a price on brakes for our truck wasn't bad. Had to make an appointment for today. Ok so go in at 9am to get them done and get a call while at breakfast saying they could not do it cause they had an emergency. Go back to get the truck an the truck that pulled in after us was in there. The man in the shop said he was sorry for Daniel's problem. Doubt we will go back there. Update: got phone call today from Daniel & He offered to make it right with us. Very happy & satisfied with the work he did for us today. Thanks for making it right.

From my first call to Jim I was impressed with his customer service! I called to see if they could do an alignment on my 2500 HD Silverado, and he said to bring it right in. His reception was very professional and the technician Mike put the pickup on the lift. After an initial assessment it was determined that the alignment was fine and that there wasn't a need to do one, so I was very impressed with their honesty and integrity to not go through the motions and charge me anyway. I will certainly bring all my service to them in the future. Well done Mike and Jim!

My husband took our daughter's truck in while we were in town for a horse show. They did the front brakes and replaced a belt. He says they were fair patient with questions and not pushy. He spent a few hours waiting for the work to be done, observing how they interacted with other customers, and felt they did a good job.

At $454 for a $110 O2 sensor replacement, I ll take my next chances at the dealer! They charged me double for the part. That I found, and were not willing to install, with zero warranty or guarantee. If this wasn t my daughter s car, that I needed to get through her drivers test, this Veteran father would have bought the jack stands himself. And the guy at the front desk doesn t need to tell me how hard things are. He hasn t been, where I ve been!

The worst service I have recieved. Very unprofessional. I had to bring my car back four times about a flex pipe that was put on. The pipe lasted 5 months which I paid 280 for. I brought my car back for the 5 th time last Saturday for my appointment and the technicians never even pulled my car in to look at or give me a courtesy call to tell me that they were not able to get to my vehicle. It took me to call them at there usual closing time and then they wanted to tell me they couldn t get to it and that they needed to keep my car until Monday. Also told me if I wanted a refund I needed to call corporate office because they do not give refunds at the store. Don t take your car there. Very bad idea

Wan they wanted to charge me $630 to put a front pipe on it which a place called Exhaust Works here in Hamilton Ohio only charge me $140 to fix my problem.. I told them to use regular oil in it and they used sintheyic.

We were here out of town on a Saturday when our alternator failed. We were uncomfortable that we might find a company that would take advantage of the situation. Daniel and Josh literally went out of their way to locate the parts needed and took great care of us! Congratulations on a great team!!! Fair and honest service!

UPDATE: they responded to my review and asked me to call them at the customer service phone number. I called, left a message on their machine with the necessary information (name, my phone number etc.) and they never called me back. What was I expecting a refund! Ha!!! Forget about it. They are playing. I ve been told that businesses SHOULD RESPOND to any and all negative reviews because it makes them look like they give a care. They don t!Had my brakes fixed April 4, 2019. The day I picked up my truck I started hearing a new noise coming from the front wheels. I found out today that the two hubs from the front two wheels were rattling around inside the hub covers. I cleaned axle grease from the parts, the insides of the hub covers and correctly tapped the hubs back in place over the bearings.There s NO EXCUSE for such carelessness on their part.
