Wife and I are building a home in Wilmington and we got our Jeep Stuck in the Mud. We were referred to Justin and his team, they came out within 20 minutes on a Sunday Afternoon and got us out. Hats off to Justin and his team. Really Appreciate the help. We will definitely pass your name and business along to everyone we know. Thanks Again

Listen, I was traveling down 71 from Columbus back home to Northern Kentucky and my alternator went out so I called my insurance company to get a tow. It was 1:00 and I called and asked if I could get the tow truck to take it there in a hour for a same day repair. He said he could squeeze me in. Fast forward to 3 1/2 hours later when my tow truck FINALLY came to get my car. I just knew there was no way he was going to be willing to start in on it when the shop closed only an hour later. When I got there, I knew I was asking a lot of him. But he fixed my alternator and got me on the road! If he treats a guy who can t possibly be a repeat customer this well, I imagine he does a good job for everyone!Service: Engine repair

I went in Thursday and picked my vehicle up Friday the same week! Fair price, fixed exactly what I wanted him to without trying to upcharge for anything else. Honesty is what this man has. He'll be my lifetime mechanic for sure.Would like to mention my problem was a bad wheel bearing and isn't a big job. My point is he got it in and out without it taking a week. Bigger jobs require more time especially engine work. The man is honest and won't screw you out of anything, so be patient for all things considered.Thank you Justin!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have been searching for a family owned business for a mechanic I could trust. I found it. Justin is a great mechanic and has so much knowledge about my import cars. He saved me a bunch of cash by not having to take my cars to the dealer for service. He's a great guy who doesn't stop until the job is done and done right. I don't know how truthful other reviewers have been about their experience with First Choice, I can only state with complete honesty that I have been taking my trucks to Justin since well before he moved the shop to David's Drive and I have always, Always found him to be completely capable of solving all problems I have had and he has been unfailingly honest and fair in his pricing. Sometimes if the problem is not an emergency there is a wait because he does the work himself and he has a lot of repeat business because he does good work. There are many repairs that are very challenging and he is the only local mechanic who will take them on.

I can't say enough good right now about the service we received!Justin has terrific customer service all the way through the major task of replacing an engine and fixing issues caused by another hired shop. I wish we would have went to First Choice Automotive in the beginning. What took the other shop 2 YEARS and still not fixing the truck correctly, Justin had fixed on back to us with in days! The quality of service is above average and the price was more then fair!If you are considering a lifetime Mechanic, This company should be your FIRST CHOICE! About a year and a half ago, the timing chain broke in my 2001 Toyota and the guys at First Choice Automotive fixed it. They made it clear my car was old and said to my husband "I must really love this car" if we're willing to put $2,450 into it. At the time, it seemed the best route versus spending even more money and time (which we didn't have) to buy a new car. Long story short, they fixed my car, and life was great. It is now a year and seven months later, and the exact same thing has happened again. According to a new mechanic, someone didn't tighten something down tight enough when chain was fixed last time. And so, gradually the thing vibrated around in my car, until it finally came off altogether. While I was driving. On 73. And to no one's surprise, the warranty on the work that First Choice, has expired. So, back in same situation, except now I'm without a vehicle indefinitely. I know this wasn't intentional. But the problem still remains. Very disappointed.

I like these guys my van seems to be doing better I don't feel like I was overcharged and they took good care of my van while it was gone (this van is one of my children) I was treated kindly and explained everything so I would definitely recommend!

Very unprofessional. Everytime we called to check on the work being done they hadn't even test drove the vehicle. Had the car for 3 day and did nothing. We had to have it towed to another shop. Had a million excuses. Will never recommend this shop or ever take our vehicles there again. Thanks Justin for wasting our time and money since you knew we were also paying for a rental during this time.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This was my first time at 1st Choice Auto & Diesel and Justin cleaned the EGR cooler on my 6.7 Cummins and now it looks brand new! Price was fair, done in a timely manner, and professional. Can't really ask for anything more, I'll be going back because they are fair and do great work!

Took my wife s car in, she had a short causing her tail lights to go out, and some issues with the headlights as well. They charged $70 to diagnose and another $70 to replace a fuse and a headlight. 3 weeks later, the problem pops up again. Feeling overcharged (a total of $180!) we asked they look at it again at their expense, since they failed to diagnose it the first time. He wouldn t agree to that, so we took it to a REAL mechanic, who doesn t gouge their customers, in Blanchester.Come to find out, the previous owner didn t disclose that it had been in an accident, and so was missing plastic parts underneath, which was causing the wires to corrode and short. And he s going to fix all that for about twice the price that I got charged here.$180 to replace the fuse and bulb and totally ignore the real problem- what a crock.

We have taken both my car and my granddaughter s car to First Choice Automotive recently for brakes and struts to be replaced. We felt the price was fair and Justin did an excellent job on both.We would highly recommend.

DISHONEST.....Paid $274. ( maybe less if he gets a discount) for a part, charged me $417. When questioned about the high cost of the part initially, Justin told me that is what the parts store was charging him for it. One phone call confirmed he did not pay $417. for the part as he said. $143. + difference.Honesty and integrity will keep a business alive.......GOOD LUCK!

The service repair and communication was top notch. A neighbor recommended this shop to us and we are happy to say that we will be a regular patron as the work was done on our car in a timely manner and at a good rate.

Have to give one star since i cant give 0 stars. Well its been almost a month and in the middle of losing family members our truck never even got pulled into the garage to be worked on im disappointed since we had to work around not having it between work and personal life. I could have had it fixed when he quoted us 2 xs for time in and wasnt. If its urgent i dont recommend it.
