Decent place, I ve been going here off & on over the last 6 years. Recently I ve had a problem with steering wheel vibration especially upon braking . So as they were trying to fix the issue, they did a process of elimination . I ended up buying , a wheel alignment, wheel bearings , new tires , new rims/wheels , rear brakes , front control arms, all to no avail as they couldn t figure out the problem but unfortunately for me I didn t need any of that to fix my problem because nothing changed with the vibration . I also ended up missing a week of work because it was in their shop while they tried to fix & figure out what was wrong with my vehicle but it was at my expense.So I decided to try another shop. The guy there at the new place told me I need front rotors just off of me telling him what was going on. They replaced my front brakes & rotors, PROBLEM was FIXED . So unfortunately for me & thousands of dollars later All I needed to do was change my front rotors because they were warped.I don t want to believe that I ve been had because I ve been doing so much business with this place for 6 years but I will not be coming back here as I ve found a cheaper & more experienced place to take my vehicles as I do not have money to be spending on things that I do NOT need.

I went in today without an appointment because I had a tire with a slow leak. I wanted to make an appointment to get it looked at. Paul asked if I had time now to get it looked at? Sure I said. I was out of there in less than an hour and the tire was fixed. It had a screw in it. Amazing speed and service!

They are dishonest about the service you get.They damaged one of the wheels on my car and refused to accept responsibility. The invoice said they reset my oil change and service indicators after an oil change and full service on my car. When I checked, it had not been reset. I had to reset it myself. I paid to have 4 tires balanced. They balanced 3 but charged me for 4 tires.I got my last oil change in June 2022, a 10,000-mile synthetic oil change they didn't even put enough oil in my car. I have never, as long as I've been driving, had to top off my oil in any of my cars until I let this shop change my oil.I don't ever want to have any dealings with this place again.

I am so happy I was referred to John and Bill's place of business! My vehicle broke down and had to be towed to their garage. I asked them to do a lot of work on my Toyota and they had everything finished by the next day and at a very reasonable price. I will always take my vehicle there and certainly recommend them.

I am so thankful for John and Lake County Brake and Front End. I drive a lot for my job and discovered a slow leak in my tire. No one could fit me in anywhere for days, but John and his team were able to fix my tire almost on the spot. When it comes down to it, everyone is very busy and staff is slim at most places--totally understandable--but I do sincerely appreciate when people go above and beyond to help someone out. Thanks, John-for fixing my tire and making sure I can get to where I need to go safely.

They have taken care of us for years and they do great work at a fair price. The thing that impressed me the most was when they charged a flat rate to change my o2 sensor. It was very hard to get out. The thing must have been welded in and it took the guy 4 hours to get it out, ret thread it, and install the new sensor. When it was done, I expected they may charge me for 4hrs. They stood by the flat rate and said most only take 10 minutes and mine was the exception and that it all averages out. They offered a price that was 1/4 the dealer price and stood by it despite my car being a challenge.All other services go quickly and are always very fair.Last time I was there a customer said he was from the west side and drives here because these guys are the only ones he trust too.

I spent nearly 5 grand on a replacement engine. 2 months later it was not running again. What did they do? They did more work (that I did not authorize) and charged me an additional cost to put in a new thermostat and battery. A month later the car breaks down again. A new timing belt will have to be put in, only this time by a mechanic who I totally trust. Lesson learned - I am never going to this place again. Shop around before you go with these guys. I did not want to post any stars but I had to put in one just to get this review posted.

One of the best auto repair shops in Cleveland. This place has been around for a long time under the same ownership and the team of mechanics is top notch. All of my family cars have been serviced here over the past 18 years. Anything from tire rotation to full engine rebuild, these guys have done nothing less that a fantastic job.

The price was a bit high. We discussed it over the phone and it came to $850 for brakes, rotors, brake sensors, a pipe between the engine and the catalytic converter. I asked about the oil change to which the comment was made "I'll take care of it". I took that to mean included in the price, but to my surprise, the bill was $1100+. I read over the charges and the oil change was $100, to which I responded $100 for an oil change huh? So he knocked $36 off. I got in my car and there was the key to unlock my wheels sitting in the cup holder of my $50,000 car... I went back in and asked what it was, he proceeded to tell me and I asked where it went. He said just through it in the glovebox of my Audi A6. A thousand dollar bill and I have to put the parts back where they don't even go? Then I got back in and noticed that the lights hadn't been cleared, so I went back in and asked him to clear them to which I was made to feel like an inconvenience. It was at the end of the day and I was there after hours, but I didn't receive the call that my car was done until 4:30pm... they close at 5pm and I had to Uber there during rush hour.I still can't believe that he told me to put that part in my glovebox of my car. He was nice, but it didn't feel very genuine. Premium pricing and average service... I think I'll try elsewhere next time.

I went into the shop needing the most economical solution for the dying tire on my 2008 PT Cruiser. I had borrowed some money to get this taken care of, but I didn't have the $40 it would normally cost. I thanked the person helping me politely, explaining my financial situation. I was almost to my car when he came out, checked the tire size I needed and told me they had one -- and they'd "work something out". They did and I will never forget his kindness.

Mechanics thier are very considerate and helpful have taken all my vehicles their just last week I was caught in a emergency l had brought a locking gas cap and key would not work needed gas desperately brought my Denali there and guy removed gas cap free of charge very grateful for his assistant will continue to do business there

So, i do not advise you take anything other then a simple oil chqnge to them, i was quoted a price 1 day before i took my car in, they didnt even bother to try to save the part they could have re used, chqrged me an additonal 200 bucjs, my suspension makes a noise , i ask them if it is because the mounts they bought dont have bearimgs and the guys says they have them, i looked up the part from autozone in descriprion it states strut bearing not needed, well for my coilovevers they clang so i do need them, i feel lied to amd used, they even cut a hole in my cover for the top front struts instead of tryimg other things. Now i have to drop of ky car the 2nd time, i am a single dad with no job, i camnnot keep dropping my car off qnd walking.home. the cut the bolts to the original strut mount. I am letting you know the place is shady. Go someplace else. Now my simple direct instal is costing me more to install then the entire suspension. How do these people sleep at night. They will try to charge me again for something THEY caused. My sispension was built specifically for my car, yet they claim no responsebility. I am not taking my car there. I wish i could sue. They told me they could do it and look at the pictures, my car had alignment issues to this day. Ive spent 100s to get it right after paying 800 to get them installed, so called correctly by these idiots.

Came in on a busy Sat morning with no appointment. We're from out of town and really needed our car fixed asap in order to visit my Dad in the hospital. But, I'm sure everyone there had urgent reasons for their car repair. In spite of this, the manager John Cendrowski took pity on us and got us on the road in an amazingly short time. He did it with little fuss, not like he was going out of his way for us, (which he certainly was!) a real gentleman! Great service, fair price, quality work. Visit this shop with confidence!

My tire blew on on the freeway. I contacted Lake County and they sent a tow and repaired my vehicle and got me right back on the road. Great group of workers there!!

Had my tires, which I purchased from them, rotated and mechanic broke Plastic Wheel Cover. Owner told me he would not replace the Wheel Cover. He told me "That was my problem!" I will never shop there again!It is now 4 years later and I am looking for new tires, but I will NOT shop here.

I have taken 5 different cars here over the years. They have answered any questions I had regarding the required repairs and completed the work on time and at a reasonable price. That is why I keep going back.

I've been here a handful of times and every single time, those guys seem to not want to be bothered, I mean nonchalant, sort of standoffish, and sometimes just rude. I have a pickup, but it appears that the coupons they send out are always for cars only.

Very poor service. Had car towed to their shop on 5/21. Called on 5/22 to inquire on what was wrong. They had not looked at it yet. Spoke with them on 5/23 and engine is frozen and that it required the engine being torn apart to verify the cause. I asked numerous times if they have time for this work and was told they do. Confirmed that I should have an answer by late Friday (25th) or Tuesday at the latest. Called today (Tuesday 5/29) and was told that they still had not started on it and they "would try to get to it later this week". Totally dissatisfied with this company.

Had one misdiagnosis, struts were labelled as broken when the boot was just misadjusted. Rookie mistake. There was also no need to tighten my lug nuts with the force of god.

Walked in and immediately was greeted. Asked for an alignment and was on my way home in about an hour. Pricing was very reasonable.

TRUST ME, DON"T GO HERE! This place charged me $26.70 to look at my car and not do any work. They didn't even have the decency to warn me that there will be a charge just to look at it. They claimed I needed 2,000 dollars worth of work, which I could sadly not afford and then went along and charged me $26.70 anyways. Screw this place! I've gone to places that will look at your car without any charge. I really wish I did not go here. My mistake and I will never go again

They charged me $40 to change my own tire out of my own rim I didn't even buy anything I brought my own tire...and counter guy was rude....won't be back...sorry John.
