Dave was great. Showed up at my house on time! No waiting. He explained the work to be done in detail so that I was able to understand. He cleaned up afterwards. I had no worries. I highly recommend him to everyone. I m actually looking around the house for more things to get done.

One word...Fantastic! We first asked the home handyman to come help us with a small job that we believed we could do on our own after purchasing a new home (we soon found out we could not). Upon him doing work for us we have had him back multiple times for other projects in our home. He does an amazing job and I highly recommend his services to anyone! Recently he has helped us to fix the electrical (wiring/light switches) in our living room that was put in incorrectly by the previous owner. He was available in a timely manner and made us feel comfortable with his services! Thank you David we very much appreciate your services!*The exposed wires are what we had tried to work on ourselves, we were attempting to put dimming lights in our living room. The wires that were put there by the previous owner were mis mangeded and color coded incorrectly. Dave came in and made sure they were up to code and safe for use. The final picture is the finished product that works perfectly. I had a very small issue that I couldn t understand why I was getting a leak, so I called for help. Instead of coming out and charging me for advice, I was talked to about possible root causes and when reinstalling watch outs. I m going to try it myself and know they will be here if I can t get it done myself. This is exactly what I was looking for.They will be my go to person for all projects going forward!

Highly recommend! My husband and I bought a house and wanted an outlet installed above the fireplace for our tv to be mounted! Dave was able to install an outlet by going through the outside of our home so no interior wall was damaged! He was able to get the work done quickly and was very responsive whenever we had questions! Not only did he install the new outlet but he also mounted the new TV for us so we didn t have to deal with it! Not to mention he is extremely friendly and easy to work with! We will definitely be using Dave in the future for work that we want done on our house!

Dave was great. He returned my initial phone call within 30 minutes. After going over the issues that needed to be addressed he was able to give me a plan to fix the issues as well as rough estimate on what it would cost. He was on time THE NEXT DAY at my house and fixed the issues. Price was on the low end of what was originally quoted. Would I use him again? ABSOLUTELY!!!Service: Repair water fixtures

I met Dave through mutual friends and found out about his handyman services and I am glad I did. He has done some repairs where I work and has gone above and beyond. We have old fixtures and he was able to do the repairs. I will be using Dave for anything else that needs fixed. I have used other services in the past but Dave will be my first call from now on. I have used The Home Handyman twice so far and they are amazing, respond quickly to my emergency, great communication, fair prices, and do amazing work. The Handyman is for sure true to his name. While others lied to this Disabled Vet, He is the only one that stepped up and fixed a problem within a few hours. He prioritized my situation and within a few hours... bam... hot water that we have been without for 7 days due to our home warranty lying and not full filing the services I paid monthly for! We used Dave s services about 6 years ago via a recommendation. He installed a new dishwasher for us. Did a good job and we were pleased. We saved his card, so when we needed a toilet replacement and possibly more involved work, we contacted him. Once again, he did a good job. As a Realtor, repair issues arise quite often and need to be addressed to satisfy buyers and lenders. Finding good contractors who are reliable can be very challenging and I can't say enough about Dave with The Home Handyman. I was faced with a repair that the lender requested and needed to be done before we could move forward, I recommended The Home Handyman to my seller. He responded quickly and was very understanding of our needs and within a few days the work was complete. The job involved opening a basement wall that was damaged by moisture, identifying the problem, interior wall waterproofing, installing PRF wall board with a nice PVC trim and reinstalling the toilet with a new flange. During this whole procedure he kept me and the seller updated with information and photos. This is the 2nd time I've used his services, the last time was on a century home in Painesville that needed a lot of work. Both times he has been able to accommodate me between other jobs. Dave The Home Handyman did a phenomenal job not only installing the outdoor electrical on our deck but also running a natural gas line to our grill. He is the proverbial Swiss Army Knife who can do it all. We are very impressed with the quality of work, and we will definitely be reaching out to Dave in the future for additional projects. Another excellent quality that Dave has is his level of communication whether it be answering questions, scheduling the work, or offering up alternate solutions weighing pros and cons on how best to complete the installation.

Dave was referred to us and exceeded all my expectations. He was so kind as to give me advice on some of the fixes I was doing, along with re-configuring my water lines, running new lines to a sink and toilet in my basement. What a great company!!! We had damage to our plaster wall and wood railing, and had Home Handyman complete repairs. The damage was is the center of the wall and he matched the paint perfectly - spending time drying out the paint to ensure the match, as well as feathering out the paint. When it was complete, there was no sign of any damage.I was very impressed. Excellent work.I recommend The Home Handyman!Service: Drywall repair

We are having a kitchen installed in our basement for a mother-in-law suite and our contractor called Dave to do the plumbing. While he was at our home we asked if he could install a hose bib in our garage. He said "no problem" and the next day it was done.
