The team at Dave s is always the best and takes great care of their customers. They aren t pushy at all, like many of their competitors, but still shares their recommendations for service in a very professional manner. I also love the email recap of the details! Jim was up front with what they were going to be doing as well as the price. After the initial agreed upon Diagnostics he called and gave me and out the door price if I wanted to get it repaired. Also gave 5% military discount which was an added Plus. The repairs were scheduled and performed on time and I had my vehicle back when promised. I would recommend Dave's Auto Care

Consistently, the best service. Being able to make appointments by text makes keeping up with routine maintenance easy. I'm able to leave my car in their care and pick it up at my convenience instead of waiting. I highly value their flexibility.

The man who I assume was the owner or manger helped me and he was very nice and understanding, BUT the man who checked me out after my service was very rude making snide condescending remarks about my vehicle care, I'm sorry but you do not know my finances or my life situations so making comments about my vehicle care is very unnecessary. Won't be returning.

Your crew called me to update the maintenance was required. Even some of the things I wasn't aware of needed. I am confident that my Volvo is ready for this year's winter season. I have some minor repairs that are need addressing on a later date - I'm looking to forward to scheduling it in next spring.

Had air bubble in tire after driving often on Vine Street and metal hole covers. Called David's got guick estimate and tire replacement. 9am appointment out by 9:45. Amazing.

Went in for overheating issues. Paid for a coolant flush. They didn't top off the new coolant. Took it back and they made excuses and still didn't top off my coolant. I personally won't be returning to this place.

UPDATE: After taking my car to another shop, come to find out, the wheel I had questioned the wheel bearing on is in FACT shot. Dave's told me the noise was simply coming from the tire on that wheel, because it is new in relation to the others (had to have it replaced due to an un-pluggable flat). So yeah, 160 bucks to give me the nonsense mentioned below. I mean, did they even really look at my car, take it for a drive? Ridiculous.First off, the shop is nice, clean, everyone is polite.Needed a suspension check on my VW, was told 130.00 per hour (via phone), and set up a drop off time for the coming Friday. Came in Friday, and apparently wires crossed and the person I talked to thought I meant the previous day, Thursday, and the fella at the counter told me they were super busy/booked/slammed that day (the Friday I brought it in). They got me in despite the aforementioned time constraints (thank you).I stated my concerns with the car, and I am not inexperienced in this area, so I felt confident that I had an idea. I wanted the suspension checked. Everything that is part of the suspension, ball joints, shocks, struts, strut mounts, all easy things to do with a test drive and a lift. The car was making some clunking/rattling noise over bumps, and when turning occasionally, just an altogether "loose" sound, as well as a possible humming wheel bearing. It must be noted, that there was very obvious sway bar bushing noise, which I did not mention (I should have) as it was so obvious I didn't even think to mention it, I was hearing "past" the bushing sounds, as they weren't really a safety issue to me, but more of a nuisance.A few hours later I was called and able to come pick my car up. 160.00, and my diagnosis was "sway bar bushings need greased and no wheel bearing noise but it was the new tire I had to have put on after a flat that was making the humming sound.160.00 for this diagnosis? Seems a bit steep, and I was a bit blown away that it took the technician over an hour (on a super busy day, as mentioned) to come up with this basic diagnosis. Thanks, genius.The other concern is that I wasn't given a rundown of what was actually checked. When asking for a diagnostic/system inspection, it's fair to give the customer a run down, on paper, of what was checked. Seems like standard operating procedure to me. Jim contacted me via text, and I sated what I have stated here, with no reply yet, a week later. Maybe I was unclear with my expectations? Perhaps, I mean, that's possible. I suppose it could've been worse, they could've tried to sell me a bunch of stuff I don't need, right?I am not saying Dave's is the equivalent of Darrell, played by Billy Bob Thornton in the movie U Turn, but the cost + lack of detail in the final report was pretty irresolute. I left feeling the way you feel when you go to a convenient store and spend 8 bucks on a 12oz bottle of bargain ketchup (contains 3% tomatoes, but lots of red food coloring) instead of going to the grocery store a little further and getting a bottle or organic ketchup for 3 bucks. I mean, I guess it's ketchup, kinda?If you haven't seen U Turn, starring Sean Penn, J Lo, Nick Nolte, and John Voight, check it out. 5 stars.Dave's gets one star.

Always a quick process. Never had a problem. Went in without a reservation with a tire problem and they took care of it immediately. Keeps in touch with you. Best auto repair shop ever! Polite and professional, they did NOT try to find issues with my vehicle just to make money off of me. These guys are the real deal and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and everyone who needs auto repairs of any sort.

Dave's Auto Care is my choice for car maintenance. They are fair, reliable and trustworthy. I have been taking my vehicles there for over ten years and I would recommend them to anyone. This place is stellar! Everyone that works here is so friendly and helpful. Mike in particular is a gem. I appreciate that the employees will explain what s going on my with my car without excessive jargon or making me feel dumb. The price is always right and the work is always done so quickly. I love coming here for my car work! They ve worked on my car for the e-check several times now they ve always been upfront and honest about their prices and fast with their work. Their waiting area is very comfortable and they ve always been very accommodating to me when I have to wait there. They also have AAA savings that helped a little when I had to get some car work done last.Overall all the people that work there are very nice, honest, and great at their job. Thank you!

Can t say enough good things about Dave s Auto. While relocating from NY to NM my car broke down, after hours, and was towed to Dave s. I use Dave's when it's not Warranty work. I've used him for 15 plus years and anytime I had an issue, service or parts, he has always gone beyond to fix it.
