Purchased a used vehicle, which overall the buying experience was fine.However, when I bought the truck, I was told there were two key fobs for the vehicle, but they were unable to locate the second one at the time. They said they would continue looking for it, and mail it to me when they did. After a couple days, I called the salesman I had worked with and asked if they had found the key fob. He said, yeah, we found it, we ll have it in the mail on Monday. Fast forward two weeks, no key fob had arrived. I attempted to first text the salesman multiple times, to which there was no reply. Then I attempted to call him directly via the number he provided, which also garnered no reply. Third, I attempted to contact the sales manager, and after talking with someone in sales who answered the phone and said they would transfer me to the manager, the guy only managed to hang up the phone on me. Forth attempt, I utilized the chat option on their website, and was told I would receive a phone call ASAP from customer service. After waiting 3 hours with no phone call, I called the sales department again and spoke with a guy (Nick), who was able to assist me.Now, that is what frustrated me, but it is what it is. Here s the part that infuriated me, and led to this review.Nick said that the key fob had accidentally been left with service in their key box, but it wasn t in their computer tracking system they use for the keys. So, when my original salesman told me yep we found it, it ll be in the mail, he straight up lied to me. That is completely unacceptable in my opinion, and not the customer service I would expect from a dealer.So, for anyone reading this review, I HIGHLY encourage you to ensure that you have anything and everything you need when you leave the dealer with your new vehicle, but any follow up communication with them is virtually nil, and they ll just straight up lie to you instead.

In my humble opinion this is one of the best dealerships in Northeast Ohio if you're looking for a Ford motor company ,product. Knowledgeable friendly, no pressure sales tactics. I've bought several vehicles from there so I may be biased but I do believe you can't go wrong at the AutoNation Westlake Ford store. Was there today to check on a new Maverick order and I'm pleased to say that they're still the best Ford dealership in Northeast Ohio.Ask for Janet or John & tell 'em Rod sent you. .... You won't be sorry.Was there to pick up a new Maverick and the experience couldn't have been better. I highly recommend them if you're in the market for a new or used vehicle.

We dropped our car off on Monday with the dealership and my husband provided his contact information. The dealership then began to message me and I did not get the messages because I was at work. My husband called the dealership to confirm the work he wanted done. I later got a call asking to let them know as they had been waiting all day to find out. I told the woman (Danielle) that called and texted that this was my husband's car and he had already called and spoken with someone and I don't have my personal phone on me at work so he needed to be contacted. The woman on the phone was rude and seemed to think this was funny. Neither of us got any updates for the rest of the week on the vehicle. My husband called a total of six times and could not get in touch with Danielle (who is apparently the only person that can provide updates or take information). I finally called on Friday and was able to get through to her and she stated she did not get any of the six messages we left for her and the keys had "just been dropped off and the car is done". The customer service is atrocious. The dealership has significantly declined over the years and it is sad. We will be using any other dealership or mechanic possible to avoid dealing with this again. We were in the market for a new vehicle and will not be using this dealership if this is their standard for customer service.

I mean yeah, it s pretty great. My 2013 F150 was having an issue. Whenever I d come to a stoplight, the low oil pressure light would come on, however the truck would still run perfectly fine. As soon as the vehicle would move again, the light would turn off. It was getting on my nerves so badly that I took it in to get it fixed. I paid around $600, and the truck is no longer having that issue. That was enough of a selling point for me to come back in the future if ever need be for any issues with my truck. Making the appointment and getting the truck in was super easy, and they called me to let me know once it was finished. Overall a perfect 10 out of 10 experience.

If I could give them a 10 star review I would. Janet and her team were absolutely amazing. They were understanding, kind and very reasonable with my car situation. They put full effort into getting me a safe car and tried their very best to make it affordable. I have had two leases and then just bought a car from Auto Nation Westlake and I am a customer for life. I highly recommend Janet & the guy that s working with her (I don t remember his name) both were very kind!

Within 4 days of getting my car back from being serviced, spending $1800 for recommended work, my car had begun to have multiple issues that didn't exist prior to service being done. I have called at least six times asking to speak to someone addressing these issues and have yet to even receive a phone call back. I have been told to expect a call from, Ashley, Harrison, or the head of the service department over multiple days and have not heard a word from them. Very disappointed in the service that I have received from this location.

While in the market for a new truck, I was in negotiations with several dealerships at the same time. Dan, the sales manager, was wonderful to work with. All communication was prompt and always straightforward. No high pressure sales and no dealership markup. In the end we made a deal that we were both happy with. I drove 4 hours just to do business with them. I worked with Robert when I arrived. Both he and Dan called me by name and made me feel at home as soon as I walked through the door. I would definitely do business with them again.

Brought my 2016 expedition in for a recall on the blower motor due to risk of fire.Got a loaner car...nice.Blower works intermittently after ward...not niceAsked for assessment...needs $700 worth of work for resistor and melted connector to blower motor..."not related"...and not nice.Could get about 50 bucks of parts and 30 minutes to undo two 9 mm screws, right, under, dash...and decided to take it elsewhere.Assessment fee waived...nice.Overall, the staff and the "showroom experience" were very nice, but my impression is that this should have been part of the recall.I'll find another place for service.

The Autonation Ford staff (especially Danielle) is always willing to help when my vehicle is in the for repairs. Receiving a high quality "Loaner Car" at no extra charge to ease the burden of NOT having a vehicle while mine is being repaired is fantastic. The repairs are always thorough and of the highest quality. Being kept aware of the details and status of the repairs as the work progresses is exceptional and really makes me know that your staff cares about me and maintaining the highest level of quality service. Thanks for being there for me every time I need you.

I have always bought any of my trucks from Auto Nation Ford Westlake. The one time I did not it was a complete lemon. Auto Nation took my Ford Raptor and allowed me to find a new Raptor with them taking my old vehicle. I have always had top level customer service. Always upbeat conversational reps. I understand sales since I am in it myself. And for people to just carry over positive interactions to the work place goes a long way. As long as I am in the area I will always good at Auto Nation Ford Westlake for my vehicles first.

Robert, the gentleman who assisted me throughout the entire process of purchasing my vehicle, was truly excellent. He went above and beyond what's expected of someone in his role. He hand delivered the check to our house. My father was terminally ill at the time and we had to get home quickly, and he was very understanding. Thanks, Robert!

First of all, the level of care taken to ensure a quick and painless sales experience was stellar. Starting with our salesperson Will, who was careful to locate the specific vehicle we wanted , then provide us with an accurate estimate of costs broken down in a clear way both overall and monthly costs. Then throughout the financial process Omar, who took into consideration our needs and goals and made the purchase smooth and painless. Finally Dan, the sales manager, who ensured every detail of our purchase was integrated into a wonderful overall experience. We bought a car for mom in less than 2 hours from initial contact to driving out. This was the most pleasant and easy transaction we've ever had with a car dealership. Shout out to Will for his excellent follow up. And to Omar for creating a realistic financial set up for obtaining my mom's dream car. Dan has built a winning team.

Very very very unhappy with this service department. 0 stars is what it's worth. Had oil change and tires rotated. After appt my tires made a lot of road noise. Was told I needed an alignment. Made another appt for alignment and when they were done my steering wheel wasn't straight. It was turn left and had to be there to make vehicle go straight. Alignment did NOT fix my problem like they said it would. Come to find out when they were rotating my tires (which I had done by them 5 times) the never cross rotated which cause my tired to be chopped.

I would encourage anyone in Ohio to go to AutoNation Westlake. I went to three other Ford dealerships closer to my house with disappointment. I found AutoNation Westlake on line and they immediately truly tried to help me. The entire team was great, especially the amazing salesman John C. I drove an hour and a half one way to get to there dealership and I would do it again. While waiting on my new order for months with Ford , John always kept in touch constantly with the entire process. You were never forgotten about. Never any games or mark-ups truly an honest dealership, which seems hard to find these days. If your looking for a Ford you should start here!!!.

Ashley greeted me warmly, and quickly straightened out an appointment mix-up that I made by accident.All the staff were friendly and professional! I'm thankful to have a great Ford dealership nearby. Customer service after the sale is horrible and non existent. Salesperson does not respond to emails. Bodyshop is no better. Promised me a loaner while vehicle was being worked on. I ended up sitting in waiting room because no loaner available. I should have refused picking up vehicle at time of sale until "to do" list was completed. I trusted that they would complete after the sale. I was wrong. I had to exert too much energy to get items taken care of with no support from sales person. Very disappointed and I will be sure to inform Ford of that.

Danielle was my service advisor, she knows her stuff and took good care of me. I had a wiper motor replaced out of warranty on a 2018 Explorer with 38K miles, it was pretty pricey but they gave me a military discount which really helped. A wiper motor should last more than 38K miles but that is aManufacturing problem and a complaint that does not apply to the dealership service department.

If you plan to purchase a vehicle from Autonation Westlake, OH, just know that they are NOT operating in the 21st century! Unbelievable with the process on trying to secure and purchase a vehicle from their inventory, even after I had told the sales person multiple times that I want to secure it all I kept getting was the run around. Then 2 days later I find out it was sold to another buyer without any correspondence with myself about this until I finally called to speak to another salesperson, did I get that information. I have purchased over 60 vehicles over the years and never had such a terrible experience as this, period!

I ordered my Maverick in June of 2022 and was transitioned to a 2024 Maverick in June of 2023. Throughout the process Pete Murray kept in regular touch with me keeping me updated. Excellent customer service is the reason I have bought two vehicles from AutoNation and trust them to service my vehicles.

Denise was amazing! She worked really hard to find the color and package I was looking for. Even though I didn't leave with the color I initially wanted (there were none available in the whole state) I was really happy with my purchase. I would recommend Autonation Westlake to any one looking to purchase a new vehicle.

I scheduled service for an oil change and was asked if I had changed my air filter. I couldn t remember so instead of checking it they replaced it for $70. Afterwards I found the receipt from my last oil change at a more convenient location and the air filter had been changed and for only $25! I will not be going back here.
