I went after a collision and they fixed my car. However, the front hood is lifted a little bit and you can place a finger or two underneath. They said, they will order an new latch and to drop it off. That day, they supposedly changed the latch and billed the insurance company. The hood didn't look any different, so I thought they were lying and didn't order anything especially that I was the one to call and ask if the latch was ordered, not them. I called the insurance company and they were not billed for anything. They lied to me about ordering a latch and wasted my time waiting to be supposedly replaced. I would never go back to them or recommend this place to anyone. They only talk and don't deliver. They got so much money out of the insurance too. I am disgusted with this place.

WORSTplace to deal with , I've sent my car to get fixed from hail damage where they had to change some parts on it the paint job is awuful full of bubbles , no matching colors between the old one and the new one , bad service full of lies ,bad timing ,and they caused more damage and devaluating more than fixing it , UNQUALIFIED TO FIX ANY CAR EVEN IF THEY SAID SO ,every time they try to fix something they damage another thing they don't care about customer service or about your vehicle .HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED ,TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY SAVE YOURSELF FROM HEADACHE EVEN IF YOUR INSURANCE THE ONE PAYING .DONT EVER GO THERE .

Felt scammed. The body personnel did a great job. One thing on a tire I noticed. customer service and management did a horrible job on communication. my rim had a gouge, looks like my tire (same brand) was different from the others. Emailed general manager and no contact whatsoever. The bill was paid in full. I guess there's no reason to follow-up. Funny how all the other tires had the same tread depth and where super clean except the right rear.

My wife's car needed some collision repair. Normally, going through the "process" is annoying, irritating, and even a bit painful. Not this time! Kimberly handled the vehicle inspection, cost estimating, and insurance interaction smoothly. I'm very pleased so far. Let's see how the repairs actually go. My expectation is that if the parts are available, that should be smooth as well.

They do a good job but it takes forever just to get an appointment for an estimate. Then it takes forever to get an appointment to begin the repairs. And communication isn't great. Basically no word and then one day after a couple weeks they'll call and say it's done. But they do a good job and if some repair isn't quite right, they'll fix it very quickly.

Love bringing my car here - and I've never said that before. As a woman, oftentimes I find myself with more issues than present when getting my vehicle assessed. However, not only were they extremely patient with me, worked with me to make the repairs possible, and supported me with regular updates and explanations via phone when I wasn't sure what was happening with my vehicle. Thank you, AutoNation Westlake! You are the reason I was able to restore my new car back to its former glory after being backed into in a parking lot.

I was involved in a minor fender bender in late October and had my BMW taken to AutoNation that same week for body work/repairs.They worked pretty seamlessly with my insurance company on costs - my only involvement on that front was to pay AutoNation the $500 deductible when i picked up my car.I finally got my vehicle back in mid-January. My only issue with getting my car repaired is a current supply chain shortage and availability of BMW parts. This is why a minor fender bender resulted in me not having my vehicle for nearly 3 months. It was very frustrating to go through delays like that and i would simply suggest AutoNation reach out to customers weekly (at a minimum) when this sort of thing happens. We had some unfortunately open-ended conversations that just went a lot like "We're so sorry, but BMW is weeks behind on shipping parts". And i totally understand that. But I would have appreciated a weekly call to let me know someone had actually called BMW and confirmed the shipment was still delayed/pending and they'd update me next week. Otherwise i'd go weeks without hearing anything. I was constantly calling them instead.But the car was fixed beautifully, they fully (unexpectedly) cleaned/detailed the interior - when i picked it up i was floored by how clean it was. Dale was very warm and friendly to work with. Overall, despite the frustrations with parts shipments, AutoNation did excellent work.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim

While I am happy with the repaired dent, the trim around the fender/wheel well is not as tight as the rest of the car. I took it back for another week for adjustment and they told me they put on a new piece of trim and it was perfect but when I picked it up it was exactly as it was before, and the gentleman there did agree. I expected a call on Monday 8/1 and I still haven't received that call to get it back in yet again.Service: Body & Trim

Took my car in for a 4 day minor repair (their estimate) no parts needed. Shop took 11 days to repair. Won't tell Allstate that it took 11 days so I can't get my rental reimbursement. Told my wife they would call it in, but never did. Called back again today to resolve, but Dale is too busy to take my call.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Best Service I Ever Had. From start to finish! I mean, soon as you walk in you feel right at home. Great Customer Service from the intake to the mechanical staff. I brought my 2010 Ford Explorer xlt to Auto Nation in Westlake for front end collision repairs and they got right on it. When I got it back it was cleaner than I ever had it, on top of the repairs being immaculate! Paul you re Amazing to say the least. I ll be returning for any other service needs. For all service and repairs, I strongly recommend AutoNation in Westlake no gimmicks no games.

Repairs were done in a timely manner and very well from my accident. Emails with updates were sent letting me know how far along my repairs were and when they would be done almost daily. They even cleaned my car after the repairs got it back better when I turned it in to them. Too my car there for repair after an accident. They gave it back and said it was good to go. A few days later all the dash lights came on including the check engine light. Took it back and they just cleared the codes without doing any real work. Same thing happened a few days later. Took it back. They kept it for 3 days and cleared the codes again then told me to take it to the manufacturer for diagnostics. Took it there. I'm about an hour they called back and said "did you know your air filter box is cracked in half?" These guys seriously dropped the ball. Will not go back.

This shop has horrible customer service. They have had my car for four weeks with no idea of when they are even going to get to it. They don t follow up or call you to let you know what s going on. Everyone from the lady at the front desk to the manager. They take no responsibility then when you question the manager Dale acts as if you are inconveniencing him. I ve had to call them 6 times to find out what s a eta is or if my parts are in. They give the excuse that they don t have people, nobody has workers and everyone is busy. Then you probably shouldn t take work you can t do!! The manager himself is dismissive and rude. Never offering an apology or an option to even take the car somewhere else until you press him. After having my car almost four weeks he says well I ll call your insurance company and see if they will pay for the parts and you can take your car somewhere else. What a joke!!!!

I live in Westlake and try to do business in Westlake as often as I can. When my car was rear ended and I needed body work I chose AutoNation. The people in the collision center were extremely helpful and kind. The work on my car took about 10 days. I was happy with the work that was done. The problem happened when I tried to pay my bill. I got a call at 3pm on a Thursday saying my car was done. I returned my rental car to Enterprise and walked over. I got to the cashier around 4pm. My bill was 2912.97. I used my debit card to pay 2400 because I have a daily spending limit of 2500 per day on my debit card (that I didn't know about until I tried to pay). I wrote a check for 512.97. The cashier had already heard me call the bank and verify that the money was in my account to cover it. She still needed to call whatever check authorizing company they use. They told her not to accept my check and that I needed to call them. I called them. All they asked me was my phone number but still refused to take my check or tell me why they wouldn't take my check. I told them that the bank had already verified that the money was there. They said they could give me a another number to call if I wanted to know why they wouldn't take my check. by this time I had been trying to pay my bill for 50 minutes. I ended up having to get someone to drive me to the bank to withdraw the cash to come back and pay the rest of the bill. All I will remember about my experience with AutoNation is how embarrassing it was to be standing at that counter having them refuse to take my check and how humiliating it was to have to get someone to rush me to the bank before it closed to get the cash. This one incident will prevent me from ever doing business with AutoNation--in any capacity--ever again.

This was my first time working with a collision center. Long story short, I backed into a tree with my 07 Yukon. I shattered the drivers side taillight, entire left side of rear bumper, and part of the left 1/4 panel.The collision center not only fixed all the damage back to perfection, they also fixed some rust that had started on the 1/4 panel.The repairs took just over a week. Which in my eyes is a good thing because I would be concerned if the repairs were rushed. . They ordered all the correct parts, put everything back together exactly how it was before the accident, and they even detailed the inside of my SUV.Lastly, working with Paul was great. As soon as I got there, he set me up with a rental car, worked with my insurance, and got me an estimate in under 20 minutes. He kept me updated every 2-3 days and i appreciated the communication on the various status updates.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Was told by Dale the collision manager to bring my car in on a day to get looked at for work they had performed, well they were closed that day. When I talked to him he was very rude and short with me, and basically blamed me for coming in on a day they were closed. When I talked to someone in the service department he said they had multiple customers who were told to come in this day as well.

Everyone was so helpful and rushed to get my repair work done so that I was not without my car for longer than necessary. They also offer a shuttle service for when you drop off your car if you don't have any way to get home/ to work while they work on it. They even tried to help me when I was having issues with my insurance company and trying to get the claim processed. Everything was very easy and I would definitely go back in the future.

Fantastic service and craftsmanship Superior to my expectations given all the covid situations and delays .... What I got back was a car that was better than new ... they even corrected a factory defect of a leaking trunk that they did not even know existed and I did not disclose .... Wonderful customer service and great results on work done at AutoNation in Westlake!! Seamless transition getting insurance quote saving me a step and getting coverage for work approved. I also loved that they gave us almost daily email updates on the status of our vehicle and estimated time of completion.

Where do I start? When I turned my BMW X1 in for repair, I was a little hesitant! Since this is a Ford dealership and all. This site was approved by Nationwide, so I didn t have much of a choice. The day I dropped my car off, Lisa was there to great me with a smile! She was so informative with all my questions, and answered them with no hesitations. She was thorough with all the paperwork as well. Paul, the Collision Center Manager, was a breath of fresh air. He also answered all my questions thoroughly and treated me like a valued customer from beginning to end. After dropping my car off, I realized I wasn t covered for a rental. I explained to Paul and Lisa I could catch an Uber, but they wouldn t let that happen! They explained that they have a shuttle service. I only had to wait 10 minutes for the shuttle to pick me up and drive me home. The gentlemen that drove me home was so nice and we talked about his kids! I didn t feel uncomfortable for a second of my drive. You can tell this staff really cares about their customers! My car took about 2 weeks for repair. My fianc� and I checked everything and noticed part of the bumper wasn t 100%. Paul immediately stated they would fix anything we weren t satisfied with, without hesitation. He stated they would order the parts and let me know when they will arrive to fix the minor details I wasn t satisfied with. When it was time to pay, he walked us over to the checkout desk. I thought this was very nice! Any other service place would have just pointed and walked away. He wanted to make sure we got to the right place with the right person. The lady at the checkout desk was also very nice and informative. The whole process, from start to finish, was great. I appreciate this staff for taking such good care of me, my fianc�, and my car!

We took our Toyota Rav 4 into the AutoNation Collision Center to have an area of the front bumper repaired where it had a deep scrape and paint damage. We talked to Paul and he assured us that they would be able to fix the area and that we would never know that it was damaged. Since he was so confident we asked him to repair 2 other areas one on the front fender and one on the roof line, where the paint had flaked off. When we were told that the Rav 4 was ready we drove over and looked at the vehicle before we went in and paid for it, we were so happy! They did an awesome job it is impossible to see where the repairs were and the paint matches perfect. We would definitely recommend AutoNation Collision Center.

Another great experience working with the Autonation team in Westlake. Barry did an excellent job keeping me up to date on the progress and they were kind enough to let me use a new loaner for the interim. The only reason I sought out a place to review was due to Barry's professionalism and assistance throughout. The overall experience was outstanding. The vehicle was repaired and returned on the date that was given. I have a 2009 Honda Accord and it was given back to me like it was a new car. Brought in Toyota Sienna for repair from someone hitting our vehicle in the parking lot. The quote they provided (the one guaranteed by the insurance company of the person who hit us) was $1000 lower than the next best quote (the one that would have been guaranteed by my insurance company). I asked if they could also repair another part of my vehicle and I would pay out of pocket for this. They assured me that they could and would. My garage also told me that they would, but I chose this company because it was the one to be guaranteed by the other person's insurance. In the end, they only did the bare minimum of the insurance claim, and did not even attempt to do anything for me - claiming at pickup that it would cost more than they quoted me. And now, if I had chosen my garage, I would have everything done. There is something very fishy about a company that quotes sooo low and then can't even make good on their own quote.

They are the absolute worst body shop I have ever seen. There are parts falling off my truck that they forgot to put back. Water leaks in my door now. They left parts unpainted. Somehow they messed up my brakes and caused the check engine light to come on. I m not even going back there for them to try and fix what the messed up.
