Being 4 foot tall, I have had to use pedal extensions on the cars I drive. I recently had my gas pedal fall off, and I had no idea what to do. I quickly looked up the nearest mechanic and luckily Westerville Automotive Uptown was the closest one! I showed up five minutes before they were closed, and Zach had absolutely no issues trying to solve my problem. Not only did he solve my issue and put the pedal on securely, he also worked way passed the time the shop closed and didn't even charge me! I cannot thank Zach enough for his work. I am so so pleased with this place and highly recommend it to anyone who needs car help! 10/10!!!

I have had excellent service here both times my car was in. The techs were able to diagnose the problem and repair it. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the current market. Had to wait longer than I wanted, but other shops in the area were just as busy. The service writer was very friendly and accessible, never made me feel like an annoyance for calling in to touch base. Highly recommend this service center, and will be back when I need service on my vehicles.

I went to this shop in a bad situation with my tire leaking air from the valve stem. I had my family with me trying to go get breakfast. I have never been here and just googled the closest place that was open. They were super busy and short handed. They took us in quick and was so very kind!! I have never experience such great customer service and kindness. I know how it is to have to work hard when short handed. I will definitely be back! They did a wonderful job with my Infiniti g37!! Kind, honest, hard working people. They evaluated my car and helped me figure out the reason my steering wheel was shaking. They didn t need to do the original service I scheduled and didn t charge me for the evaluation. They could of fixed my alignment regardless and charged me but that wasn t the issue. These are good and honest people. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone.

These guys are great! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My technician Zach, did a great repair job to the front suspension in my Jeep, and it now rides the best since I have owned the vehicle. Daughter had a mishap with her car while at college. Westerville Automotive Uptown was great getting her fixed up and back on the road. Being from out of town I expected to pay through the teeth for the repairs but that was NOT the case. Very fair and fast work! I would recommend them to anyone needing work in the Columbus Ohio area. I've been coming here for 5 years and let me tell you, those guys get the job done right and they get done right the first time and at the right price. Especially now when everything is so explosive.If you ever take your car or truck to Uptown Westerville Automotive, ask for brad or Ken. It'll be nothing but smooth sailing from then till your vehicle is ready for pickup. I had a very great experience here. A broken spark plug was stuck in my engine block and I needed it removed. Brad, the service advisor, said he could help and so I toed my car over. They were able to get the job done in a little over an hour. Their pricing is also affordable. They charge $98 per hour for labor as of May 28th, 2020. Also Brad was super friendly, helpful and honest. Thank you guys!!!

My family has always taken our cars to them! They're wonderful, quick, and don't do a bunch of unnecessary extra stuff to jack up prices! Everyone is very pleasant. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who loves their car and loves an honest staff.

Today was my first time visiting Westerville Automotive and I was thoroughly impressed! I think it's safe to say I've finally found a reliable and honest mechanic. They diagnosed and had my car fixed within 1 business day and charged a fair and reasonable price. Brad was such a pleasure to work with and I will most definitely be back for any future needs!

Great service. They got me in and out the same day for an alignment even without an appointment. The Manager Doug is a real genuine and nice guy that cares about his customers. Would definitely recommend taking your car there for anything and everything!

Westerville Automotive never leaves me disappointed. Their staff is professional, polite and most importantly, HONEST. They ll do what you ask, and suggest services if needed, and nothing you don t need. I know my way around cars fairly decently and have dealt with plenty of service shops that ll sell you snake oil. These guys are NOT that type of shop and have earned my trust. The fact that they re a half mile from my house doesn t hurt, but I d take our cars their regardless of the commute. Brad and the staff are awesome! Highly recommended!!

Dropped my '99 Mazda 626 off here in the morning due to some cooling system issues, and they had everything fixed up by the end of the work day. Really excellent group of guys; very honest and friendly. I was thoroughly impressed by their work.

100% my preferred mechanic. So a little disclosure I am their IT provider, so we have a business relationship, but it has afforded me the opportunity to know they keep a really clean, neat, and organized garage. Their people have always been great to me, and even though I live in Bexley/Whitehall I would rather drive to work in Westerville and have them do all the work on my Jeep that I can t do, or don t have the time to do myself.They are great guys, who are always honest and fair. It is very hard to find a great mechanic, and these guys have always treated me excellently. It is for this reason they are the only auto garage I trust with my Jeep.I can not say enough great things about these guys.

Really wanted this to be the place I finally found for a long term repair shop as I have been searching since CARS at Polaris went out of business. Unfortunately, that was not the case. My daughter had a ball joint break on her Subaru Impreza. We had it towed to the Uptown location because of the reviews and it was relatively close to her job. We picked it up 3 days later, supposedly fixed. After about a week of driving it back and forth to work (approximately 5 miles round-trip) she felt something pop in the front drivers side, and the tire was definitely not lining up the same way. We called the Uptown location and Brad was more than willing to have it towed. My daughter was told it was a cracked tie rod. Furthermore, she was told by Brad he was having the car fully inspected just to be sure. They had the car a week. After not hearing from them, I called the shop only to be told the car was ready. That was Friday evening. Tonight, on Monday, I drove her car, after she reported she still had a clunky noise, and indeed she does. So much for the full inspection. Can't help but to feel they took advantage of my daughter and don't believe they even really fixed anything the second time around, only collecting extra money from a young kid. Will not return and will tell everyone to beware. Terrible experience.

Been going there for years and always very pleased. Good work and great communications. When there are issues they address very honestly. For example, I had a slow leak in a tire they installed due to a minor mis-mount. They fixed at no charge with no debate. Great work

We would not recommend this shop if you are on a limited budget.You can go to a dealer or elsewhere and likely get charged much less for a quality repair with a use of OEM parts.This shop takes an advantage of you if your car is brought by a tow truck. They charge double or triple of national and Ohio price for a job if you are desperate, the car is not drivable or if you have no clue about what you supposed to be charged.In our case this small shop doubled a cost of a retail price for an aftermarket part from a next door O'Reilly store. $600 total was charged for a small plug-and-play sensor replacement. Elsewhere this half-an-hour job would cost you $90-250.Service: Electrical

I had an old cadillac that gave me problems and they were open and honest with me. I called and told them I wanted new breaks on the back tires because of an odd noise. They quoted me a couple hundred. Called an hour later and said I didn't need breaks yet but they took care of the noise and it only cost me 50 bucks. Great people

Thorough and trustworthy. I know how to measure tire-tread depth, and can estimate brake pad wear pretty accurately. Every shop I've ever went to for a 20k service has told me that either my brake pads or tires need replaced (sometimes both). They were the first to indicate otherwise.I normally change oil filters myself, but will take it to westerville auto once a year so someone dependable and knowledgeable can make sure all is well.

Took my truck in for an engine light and shaking and shifting violently ! Diagnoses carbon build up -solution flush system -cost $300+ Picked up vehicle and it started shaking in the parking lot went back in and was told just to give it some time !! Drove it half a block and it shifted violently. Took it back the next day and they said nothing was wrong. A $300 MISTAKE!! Do Not Make The same one I Did!! They are not equipped to handle anything more than an oil change!!!

I took my Nissan Maxima there to have my hydraulic clutch issue fixed. They replaced the clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, and then bled the air from the line which fixed it for a couple of months. It broke again about 3 months later. This time they replaced just the clutch master clyinder and bled the line again which fixed it for another couple months. It broke again and they claimed it was my pedal and nothing was wrong with the hydraulics and that they couldn't repair the problem and said maybe I could just drive it like it is. I took it to a shop managed by a friend of a friend and he noticed within 5 minutes that the fluid was black, which should not be after less than year old, and my line was clearly leaking. The rubber section of the line was wet with fluid. He replaced the clutch master clyinder, slave cylinder, the line, and bled it. All fixed now. I wasted over $400 to have them do a temporary fix and telling me it was mechanical and not the hydraulic system.I will not go back to them

They are honest and will tell you what is needed and what is optional. They will give you a straightforward opinion on if the car is worth the work that is required. They care more about the relationship with you then they do about profits.

Great Shop! I finally found a place that I trust and won't take my cars anywhere else. The team is really nice, helpful and honest which seems to be something not so comon anymore. I highly recommed this place!

I've been going here for years. Used to only have the one location, but the Uptown is so closer for me now. I don't trust anybody else with my vehicles. They are always up front and fair in their pricing.
