I cannot say enough good things about this Tuffy Westerville location. Ron and his crew have such high work ethics and care about their customers. You don t see that kind of loyalty these days. I was in a situation where I had to be at the doctors appointment, and had an issue with my car, Ron said bring it in he would look at it. He was standing there in the rain with coolant, ready to help. I am thankful that with his help I was able to get to my appointment on time and safely. May God bless and watch over this company.

It s unfortunate to see that others haven t had the great experience that my family has at this Tuffy. Ron has always taken care of our cars and he s always our go-to for issues. They might be pricier than other places but the higher prices are worth it. The prices are fair for considering their service and committment to the customer and car. If you re unsure, always try to go on a weekday and talk to Ron. The weekend manager is great too but Ron is the owner of the whole franchise. Thanks guys, and I ll see you for my next oil change!

Ron is fantastic. He repaired our broken bearing and replaced brakes on a Saturday while we were visiting from out of town. Ron explained everything in detail, set realistic expectations on the timing and got it done. Just wish we had Ron nearby home!

I had a really great experience here! All the staff were super friendly and efficient. I will return here if I ever have any work that needs to be done in the future. Andrew worked on my car and was Great! Ron was very nice as well!

Just another reason I appreciate Ron and Tuffy in Westerville!He looked at my vehicle and suggested exactly where to go and what to purchase for an excellent deal! (Not Tuffy this time, LOL)This is why we will always trust Ron and Tuffy and continue to go there for service!!!Five Stars!

This place is great! We went from auto shop to auto shop with no one able to help us until we came here! The employees were super helpful and friendly!! The service was super also super quick!! Highly recommended this place!

They did nothing for me...so why did I leave a 5 star review? Well I told them I needed brake pads, and Ron explained that my pads were well above 50%. No need to replace. Instead of an easy sale, he was honest. What more do you need in a mechanic than honesty?Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Called the store to inquire about their oil change for my vehicle. The manager answered the phone and informed me that it costs $39.99 I mentioned the car is a V6 Lexus which he responded that would be additional $30.00 Subsequently, I made an appointment for an oil change. Store manager greeted me and took my key. While I was waiting in the store, he informed me that oil pan cover is damaged and needs to be replaced which I agreed after he informed me that it costs $40.00 When all was set and done, he informed me that I owe $159.00?? I asked how that is possible. He replied that he forgot to take off $5.00 off for coupon so my total is $147.00. I asked again how he came to such a cost? He replied that we had to charge more due to synthetic oil and $59.99 for oil cap. I realized that I was wasting my time. I left unhappy and realized I was a victim of bait & switch. I won't be back, and word of mouth will travel much faster than arguing over this "misunderstanding."Service: Oil change

I ve been bringing all my vehicles to Ron and the crew for years. Professional, honest, and willing to do what it takes to help customers out. We ve spent a lot of money there keeping our older cars running and I don t feel a single penny was wasted or unnecessary. No high pressure sales tactics or pushback when declining optional or recommended additional services.Overall, great shop and even better people.

Won't ever go back. Went in with a oil change and tire rotation package coupon for $29.95. They charged me $85.60 for the package instead, saying that synthetic oil was required lest I risk voiding my car's manufacturers warranty. I drive a 2011 Chevy Aveo, so that shouldn't have even been a consideration, right? The receipt listed a total price of $132.18 for the parts, labor, and "shop supplies" (guessing that part was the drain plug they stripped and needed to replace. The receipt included a discount amount of $52, presumably for the coupon I brought in, but it was listed as a "new customer, internet" discount code. So out the door I spent almost three times as much as the coupon listed price that I brought.I had already scheduled my day around this service, so I ate the additional unexpected cost and moved on, vowing to never return to that shop. At least when I go to Valvoline, they top off my washer fluid and check my tire pressure. None of which took place at Tuffy.

My alternator went bad two days before Christmas and I called over 6 companies for quotes. Everyone wanted around $750-$900 so I decided to ask my friends for some recommendations. Rick G. told me about Tuffy, told me to ask for Ron, and mentioned he's been having his car serviced at Tuffy for years. Ron was super nice and they quoted me a price under $600! When I picked my car up it ended up being cheaper than the price I was quoted and they fixed my serpentine belts (3) as well! Lifetime warranty on my alternator, it was fixed quickly and I'm so appreciative! You've definitely gained a lifetime customer and I highly recommend Tuffy! I ve been going to see Ron at Tuffy for about 5 years. Ron is a great guy and always very helpful! They don t nickel and dime you, Service is done in the timeline discussed, if there is another issues it s because there is an issue.

I went to Tuffy Westerville to get a full diagnosis of my car that has been having electrical issues. I paid $140 for a diagnosis. They essentially just told me that my battery wiring harness connection to the battery was not tight enough. This might of been true but I paid for a FULL diagnosis. They neglected to tell me or foolishly overlooked the alternator, which was getting oil leaked into it. Along with that they didn t even tell me my back struts and front shocks/struts were shot along with my master cylinder and drive shaft center bearing. I knew these were bad and they didn t even tell me. Between this experience and my experience at Tuffy Grandview I will not be returning. The only reason I gave two stars was because they did credit me store credits after breaking my oil pan drain plug but that is a whole other bad experience.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was on a trip visiting a friend in OH and my vehicle had started acting up slightly on my way to see her. I wasn't comfortable making the trip home, especially since my husband is the one who knows cars better than I do. I was in a vulnerable position. My friend and her family have used Tuffy for a long time and she scheduled an apt for my vehicle there. I got in the next day for service. They were very kind in dealing with me, addressed the issues at hand, and asked a reasonable amount of money for their time and services. My husband and I were thankful to have found someone like them and my vehicle made it home the 7 hour trip beautifully.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This Tuffy is absolutely amazing. First time they worked on my car in the winter, the rear axle had snapped and they replaced it and redid my brakes in about two days for ~$600. This time we had my car towed there Saturday afternoon, they fixed a cylinder issue and a shifting issue today and it s already done, with them being closed when my car arrived Saturday as well as being closed on Sundays. They are absolutely amazing mechanics and I would never take my car anywhere else.

If your time, money and car are important to you then take your car to Tuffy WestervilleI have a fleet of rental cars and a larger repair on one of them was needed to get it back on the road to be rented againI First took my car to Krieger Ford and they wanted to charge double the book time for the job I needed done. I declined their service because I knew the book times to get the job done and they wanted to charge 8 hours on a 4 hour job.I Then took the car to a Pep Boys and they were willing to do the job but called after I doped the car off and let me know they did not have the right tools.I then took my car to Tuffy because they came recommendedand...The team at Tuffy Westerville...-Is Great at communication!-Is honest in their quotes and what they charge!-Recommends the right parts to replace when cracking the engine open to save time down the road.-Have the CORRECT TOOLS to get the job done.-Does not waste time!Again if your time, money and car are important to you then take your car to Tuffy Westerville

We take all of our work trucks for service there. They get us in and out. Also had 2 of my personal vehicles there this week. Ron and his team are awesome!!!!! Having relocated to Westerville recently I was having a difficult time in finding a good & dependable Auto Mechanic after being ripped off by two local service centers; Goodyear and Tire Discounters.Asking around I was referred to Tuffy Tires on State St. in Westerville. This was a great experience from start to finish!Ron was one of the most friendly service providers that I'd ever met. He and the service crew at Tuffy changed the oil, lubed my SUV, changed three windshield wipers, checked my brakes and reported that for now they were just fine, and rotated my tires.No hard sales job, only a sincere recommendation that since my present tires were beginning to have "dry rot" that I might want to consider replacing them over the next few months.Included on the receipt for today's service was a suggestion of the type of tires I should consider and how much they would cost. Ron even recommended that I didn't need to purchase the expensive Michelins that I currently had on my car, rather he listed the name brand, etc. that would be compatible for my SUV. It turns out that they will cost about $400 less that my current tires!A nice, clean environment is the 'waiting room', comfortable and with WiFi.This will be not only my standard place for any auto repairs, but for my Daughter and Granddaughter also!Very friendly employees who treat their customer (me) like royalty!In all, a great place to go for all your auto service

We've been customers for years and they never disappoint. Just had 100k services along with others. Pricing is on point, quality is great and service is fantastic. Gentleman at the desk even knew who I was before I could tell him! So glad we found these folks.

Ron and his team always do a great job! I had a tail light issue that an oil change place couldn t solve. He had it in and out in minutes and filled the air in my tires. Made my day!!! Thanks.

I would like to give a big THANKS to Ron and the entire team at Tuffy (Westerville). I took my wife's car in for sceduled oil change. Service was completed and discussed with me in less than 40 minutes. True professionals. This will be our go to location for all of our vehicle services.
