PURCHASED GAP through them, Had my car totaled in NOVEMBER, it is now mid March and I continue to get push back about paying the remaining portion. So now not only am I car-less, also in a financial bind as I continue to make payments on a car I don t even have !!!! because this scam company won t step up and pay their part.

Easy to work with paid my Auto Care Warranty claim right away. I can't say that about other Motor Vehicle warranties I've had. Other warranties just tried to figure out a way on how not to pay or recoup on my initial warranty purchase at the dealership

Worst experience of my life.. every turn there s another excuse, or another thing added on that wasn t originally requested instead of telling me everything that was needed MONTHS ago. Every person I ve dealt with sucks. All they want is their money. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.

I've got to give them a good review as far the pinnacle warranty is concerned. My transmission went out in my vehicle and they paid to replace it at my dealership, they did get a used transmission but a working one nonetheless. They are very particular about not replacing things until they are completely broke (i understand that). Now I had issues out of my sunroof and they are paying to take care of the costs of replacing and fixing it which is a big job. Needless to say I will be using this company again anytime I buy a used vehicle.

Such an awful company and terrible customer service. They want that 3 grand you pay to get their warranty, but then jerk you around when your transmission goes out on a brand new car. They refuse to do anything until they have no choice and even then, they pay the bare minimum and blame the mechanic for having to buy parts. Never again. I was screwed out of 500$ I didn t have, right before Christmas, and what do they say? Not their problem

A waste of money. After an emergency repair due to safety concerns I was told that they would only pay $200 of the $1200 repair because it's their opinion that the materials needed should have been a lower price because they would prefer to use refurbished or used products. A quick search on the internet shows that this is wrong and that the price I paid was reasonable. I wouldn't feel safe with used or refurbished products anyways. They also said they wouldn't pay for the labor because they thought that the labor rate was too high at the dealership the repair was made at, which is a policy that was not outlined in the agreement I signed. I drive a Fiat. There is only one Fiat dealership in Ohio so that is where I was for this repair. I would have preferred to pay full price for the repair than have this policy. Highly do not recommend. Save your money.

This is the worst company to work with! It was automatically added on by my dealer when I bought the car. My car was totaled and I submitted everything on 8/9 and still as of today (10/18) it's still not processed. They are terrible with communication even when you send repeated emails asking for updates. They have absurd requests! For example, the dealership gave a 30 day/1000 mile warranty and I was required to get a confirmation letter stating this was canceled...it had been a 1.5 years since I purchased the car and put 11K miles on it. The dealer thought I was an idiot for requesting a cancelation letter when it was only valid for 30 days! Then they don't tell you or the dealership that they have to complete something with very specific criteria, and then make you go back to get it fixed which creates weeks of re-work. Then after everything is in, they come back with all this additional stuff needed. I feel like they do this just to make sure as much time goes by so they have to pay as little as possible. They are horrible!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE A POWER TRAIN WARRANTY THROUGH THIS COMPANY. They are the worst warranty company I have ever dealt with. My engine went out before the expiration date/mileage and they are refusing to cover it. In addition they are making it incredibly difficult to cancel the warranty completely. Currently working on a lawsuit against this awful company.

I am not one to leave negative reviews but I am completely disgusted with this company! My vehicle was totaled and Geico paid out their part I have no problem at all with Geico they did there job, this joke of a company only paid out 368$. I PAID MORE THAN THAT FOR THE GAP COVERAGE ITS SELF. They said the reason being there were deductions from Geico and they weren't responsible for that, that would be understandable but when geico said there were no condition adjustments or deductions I gave National Auto Care a call. They then turned around and told me have geico send them a letter stating there were no deductions that would pay out the 660$ dollars they took out for the deductions. Geico sent the letter and I then got a call saying the Gap Coverage I had did not require National auto care to pay due to it being deductions, after Geico told them that there were NONE. I now have a late payment due to being given the run around for months. Terrible customer service and they do not value their customers.

Absolutely terrible inspectors . They take days to show up. The first inspector was so over weight he couldn't even drive my wife's car. The service Advisor at the dealership had to drive him in it to do the inspection. They also informed me he had such bad body odor they had to leave the windows down to let the car air out. Both times he never showed up when he said he would. The last time he missed his Is scheduled time, the service Advisor called his supervisor and said to send someone else and that they would not work with him anymore.

The used car dealer that I bought my car from included a warranty from this company I have had nothing but problems with the warranty. My car has been at the repair shop for 3 months now waiting to get repaired I have gotten nowhere with either the warranty company or the repair shop giving it a one star already lost my job over this due to having to leave work early in order to be able to get home due to the hours at the buses run I would not recommend this company

I work for a auto bank and I have a little knowledge going into how these contracts work. I took my car to the dealership due to loud chattering rear differential issue (ecoboost mustang). Rather than spend all the time rebuilding the part, it was replaced entirely and all I had to pay was the deductible. Dealership handled all of the correspondence with National Auto Care. I have Pinnacle plan purchased.1) Had inspection done on car by Ford Dealership (Germain Ford)2) Secondary inspection ordered on car by National Auto Care3) 48 hours later, work approved4) I have my car minus $100 in great working condition.I did have questions regarding the process on making sure I initiated everything properly, so I did call twice during the claim process, and everyone was super friendly and professional. The reviews did make me weary at first, but I read my contract, and made sure everything was followed properly. Vehicle has had consistent maintenance through it's life all recorded to CarFax, following maintenance records to the T.I would recommend this company to family and friends.

After reading online reviews for this company, I was apprehensive that my claim would be settled easily. However, my experience was a very positive one, so I wanted to share it. I purchased GAP coverage from National Auto Care (NAC) through my dealer in 2016. In 2019, my vehicle was involved in a total-loss accident. NAC processed the claim and paid the balance of the loan 3-1/2 weeks after I submitted all of the required paperwork for the GAP claim (ALL paperwork must be submitted). I contacted them several times throughout the process via phone and online chat, and had nothing except for positive experiences each and every time. If you are diligent in submitting ALL REQUIRED paperwork, you should have no issues in getting your GAP claim processed in a timely manner.

Management of this company was willing to go above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. There were a few hiccups along the way but In the end I am happy to have the service contract on my vehicle through them. I am giving a 4 star rating because it was not a perfect streamlined process. There may be some room for improvement, however do not be discouraged they are working to achieve total customer satisfaction and I respect that.

I bought the National Auto Care pinnacle plan with my car, having it for 2 years I fortunately haven't had any problems with it until recently. My front left strut and suspension bar(not sure these are the exact terms) were broken. My mechanic needed to replace both the left and right side for the car to sit properly. Unfortunately for me, since my right side wasn't damaged, National Auto Care would only cover the broken side, even though both sides needed replacement for proper mechanical functioning of the car. Ironically, if my car had been damaged on both sides I would have been better off as National Auto Care would have covered the entire repair. My mechanic was just as surprised as I was. If you're in the market for half an extended warranty, look no further. Needless to say, I would not reccomend and will not be a repeat customer.

Please, please, I will highly advise everyone NEVER to waste their money on this warranty company. It's definitely much better to save your $ and repair in future. Most likely, they will take your money and lie about how much they will cover, wait till something happens to your car then you will know you wasted your money on them. I just realized how I wish I saved my money! Lesson learned, I know better now so don't make that mistake.

Worst insurance company ever. Do NOT PURCHASE! Wish I did more research before purchasing. They give you runarounds on things that should be covered. (My head gasket). Claiming they need to know what's wrong with it, but we can't show them untill it's taken apart, but they will not authorize the take down. We are in process of hiring an attorney. Theives like these places need to be shut down the the BBB. Comparable to scam artists.

I wish I could rate in negative stars for this company - we purchased a policy 1.5 years ago, only to find out today that our vehicle is not covered because it has large tires (which were on the vehicle WHEN we bought it and WHEN we bought the policy!) also- instead of calling us, they decided to just send the warranty to cancellation. So, they've taken our money and given us a faulty contract on which they were never going to actually cover. STAY AWAY.

This company sucks. Every time I called to file a claim, it always get denied. I don't understand why I paid so much money to warranty my car and it doesn't not cover anything.

Very disappointed, they refuse to fix parts that aren't working because they "haven't failed" even though the dealership said it could potentially be dangerous to drive and/or break other parts due to the parts not working properly. If a part is failing to do its job, it has failed. Unfortunately this company couldn't care less about their customers or their cars, they care about the money, they don't want to help you and they'll do anything to get out of it.
