I had a great experience here! Got my car back today and it was a very easy process working with them and the insurance company. My car looks great! And I can even tell they vacuumed since there was confetti that was cleaned up when I got in it! Was expecting it to be very dusty but it was better than I had left it! Super happy and thankful!!!!

I had the misfortune of hitting a deer in my nearly new Pathfinder. I called around to several body shops and was astounded by their lead times and lack of basic phone etiquette. I called Combs and could immediately tell they were different. I got the estimate and immediately scheduled my appointment. The truck looks amazing and I m happy to have patronized a Westerville based small business. Thanks for everything, Sue and company!

They were very poor communicators. They took forever to repair the car. I understand supply chain issues. Upon returning to pick up my car they gave my car to Enterprise and lost it. Also my car was a 2022 and I had a dead battery and there was a 2016 battery in the car. I recently had to change the tire and my key lock for the lug nut was missing and I never had it. They obviously didn't put it back.

Great Shop! My son is mechanic and I try to shop hard for a good place to get work done. I am so happy with the work they did. People are very demanding of body shops as far as time, and Don and the crew did a FANTASTIC job on replacing my front bumper. They did it in a reasonable time frame, did outstanding work and were more than fair on price. I have another small repair to have done soon and I will absolutely be going back. I cannot recommend them enough. My car looks like it did the day I bought it. Highly recommended.

Sue and the repair team were excellent communicators and did a very good job with my car repair. They handled all the work with insurance and rental car company, making the process very efficient. I highly recommend and will bring my other car in for scratch/dent repair.

Great work! They said it would be a week to replace rear bumper, and it was done in 4 days. The price was better than other shops, and they even washed my car. Love this place. Family owned, reliable and they know what they are doing!Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I brought my car to Combs because of all the good reviews I found over the other locations provided by the insurance company as preferred locations. The damage to my car was repaired well and my rating is solely based on the customer experience I had. I was originally quoted at 2-3 weeks for repairs to be completed. Combs does as you to drop the vehicle off and leave it while they order parts. I get this and understand that part. After 2 weeks (on Friday) I called to get a status update and was told my vehicle was in line for paint and would likely be completed by the following Wednesday. Wednesday came and went and I heard nothing. Friday after the Wednesday I was expecting my vehicle to be ready I called again to ask for an update. At this point I was told they couldn't tell me the status of my vehicle because they were understaffed and would call me back by the end of day. I asked if I could pick up my vehicle later that day if it was in fact ready? I was told they close at 5 and were closed over the weekend so likely not. I never received a call back that day or the following week. I called again the next Friday, 4 weeks after dropping it off and was told again they couldn't tell me the status of my vehicle and would get back to me by the end of day. At this point I reminded them of the previous conversation and that I was never contacted again. They assured me I would be contacted. I was called later that day by a manager and told that they were just starting to disassemble my vehicle and that the delay was due to them being authorized by the insurance company to use non OEM parts and they were "battling" with them to get the correct parts for installation ease issues. I'm not sure the whole situation, I'm not a mechanic so chose to trust them. When asked about a likely completion time since it had already been 4 weeks, I was told the following Wednesday with 95% certainty but eh manager. Following Wednesday, nothing. So I called again on Friday to ask and was told again that it was in line for paint and they would call me when ready. On Tuesday afternoon I received the call that my vehicle was now ready to be picked up. When I got to my vehicle and opened the back door I noticed the back seats were up and the blanket/tools/ misc items I store there were disheveled and looked like they had been gone through, dirt/dust and smudges all over the seats as well as broken parts and pieces that seem like they were from the repair work, hopefully they are old and not missing from important parts holding my vehicle together. Maybe they need to do something from the back seat to repair the quarter panel so I give them the benefit of the doubt, organize things and put the seats back down. As I am doing this I remember I left my change in the center consul (mistake, I know) so decided to check that. They left the pennies at least while the rest was just as disheveled as the back seats. I know they don't need to be in the center consul to repair a back quarter panel so they were definitely looking through my vehicle for valuables.Long story short, they lack basic courtesy communication when they say they are going to do things and it doesn't go according to plan. I would have liked my vehicle back in the 2-3 weeks that was planned, but understand things don't always go that way, I just wanted to understand why or have someone inform me, not me needing to call multiple times to get an answer. Also, DO NOT leave anything in your vehicle if it has any value, they will go through it and take it. Yes, I did report this to them before I left and received what other people have expressed in their reviews, a half hearted, "sorry, what are you gonna do?" response.Update: the door handle on the repaired door fell off 2 nights ago. The new handle mechanism inside the door does not match the others and is very haphazardly installed where it is loose and the screw to secure the outside handle can t be tightened. I am about to hit the character max limit so can t expand further.

Big thanks to Paul and all the guys who put the long hours in on our car. We unfortunately hit a deer and wondered if it would ever look the same. Hood, fender, bumper, and moldings were all out of alignment after the impact. Happy to say all the panels align properly and the paint is a perfect match. Very happy with the work and the kids are excited to be back in their car.Service: Painting

This was the third time I've used them for body/paint repair, and they always do a great job! I live closer to their Dublin location now, but I continue to take my car to Westerville because I trust all will go well and in a timely manner. I've never had an issue with them.

My truck was rear ended and friends recommended Combs Collision. I'm very glad I took their advice. They were excellent to work with. They kept me up-to-date on the repair process and the body work was fantastic. I couldn't tell the new parts from the old. I would definitely recommend.

Took our car there to get a door dent fixed. When we picked up the car and got it home, we notice that the paint had bumps in it and the inside of the car was full of dust. Took it back and was told it was dirt under the pant, and they could wet sand it out. We took the car back, so they could do the rework - went to pick it up, and it wasn't right still. At least three spots/bumps were missed. The owner Paul - told us we were being too nit -picky and that Progressive only pays him so much for the paint job. I told him we just want it done right and that's not right. He told us we could bring it back, while still complaining we are too picky. He was walking away out of what appeared to be frustration with us wanting it done right - I told him I would take it up with Progressive and he stormed back toward me - getting up in my face (like belly to belly). He said some things about calling the police on us (not sure for what, maybe being unhappy with their work). He ended up going back inside and we left. Never, have I seen an owner act like this - for any reason. I suggest taking your car ANYWHERE but here. Somewhere they care and strive to ensure the customer is happy the first time.UPDATE:Received this direct response from Paul the owner "Please do not insult my painter by saying you could have painted the doors better with a can of black spray paint. Talked to people better and you will be treated better." And Yes, I said I could spray paint and not get dirt under/on the paint.Should also be noted - We did not have a problem with anyone else at this place but Paul, the owner. We did not complain about the time it took - so I believe what we have here is a "canned" reply and not an owner that takes the time to review and address the problems.Again, avoid this place.

I highly recommend going to Combs for any work done on your car. Paul the owner is amazing and worked with me to get my car fixed in a timely manner. I originally got an estimate from the dealership which was $3K. Long story short my car was fixed there was not 3K worth of damage (not even close). Combs is a great place and I would recommend them to anyone for their service on their vehicle. Fast, trustworthy and professional. I highly recommend 10/10!Service: Body & Trim

Combs Collision provided quick and excellent service! I needed my sideview mirror replaced after a hit-and-run accident. I brought my car in for an estimate on Thursday, the parts were ordered and painted on Friday, and my car was repaired on Monday. Combs Collision went above and beyond to track down a backordered part so that I could get back to driving safely. The work they did was impeccable, and my car looks like new!Service: Body & Trim

They did an excellent job on my Honda Civic that was totalled. Turnaround time was pretty good. Mr Combs even replaced my mirror that was damaged from a separate incident without even charging for it. I prefer to support small businesses when I can and I highly recommend Combs Collision.

We took our Hyundai Sonata there after it appeared to try to be stolen. Paul was great and patient with my questions. They were able to get the parts quickly and they had my car back to me in no time at all. I highly recommend them to anyone. I can't say enough nice things about them.

Everyone at Combs has been super helpful. I initially took my car for repairs related to my insurance auto claim and it was a painless process with Combs calling consistently with updates. The second time I took my car back was immediately after I received it. Due to a frustrating error on behalf of the tow company my car was transported from and at no fault of Combs, my car and license plate were damaged. The wonderful people at Combs went out of their way to help me and did a quick and wonderful job fixing the damage. They even offered to help me put my new plates on free of charge.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

They fixed my doors which was damaged from an accident. But broke my radio, cd and panel and now I m waiting to see how they intend to make this right. As the customer I get the privilege of running around to get diagnostics for my insurance, all while having to pay out the pocket for something that worked when I brought my car to have the doors repaired. So I m not happy at all. Vince was awesome though, I appreciated all he did, even washed and vacuumed my car. As soon as I told him about my radio. He told Paul, who said they don t work on radios and I m to call my insurance. Yeah me!

Allow me to explain... I contacted Combs regarding the need for an estimate for repairs. I also called a few other places, and Combs was able to get me in the quickest for an estimate. I called them back, told them I have Allstate for my insurance, and scheduled an estimate. I called again because I was able to do a quick claim through the Allstate app, and this time was told that the owner does not deal with Allstate because he had issues with receiving payments in the past. Because of the quick claim, I was able to forward the estimate to Combs, had Allstate contact them, and had cash in hand (so this is not an issue in my case). I informed them of this fact, and the woman I spoke to said to keep my appointment for an in person estimate. So I went in, and THAT is when I was told about the comparison to health insurance and it would be six months until my car would be repaired. I will give Combs credit for being polite, for the most part, and that's why I feel 3 stars is a generous rating. The lack of communication regarding time to repair and wasting my time is why I'm dissatisfied. I am now unable to get in to get an estimate elsewhere for another two weeks. So now it will be almost a month before I can even have my car looked at, let alone repaired. Good thing my car is still drivable. Also of note regarding the health insurance comparison - I was told by the owner that Allstate had been trying to get Combs to be "in network" for a while. It was also interesting to see another seemingly unsatisfied customer (from the way the gentleman asked to speak to the owner about his car) arrive as I was leaving. So, I will stand by my 3 star rating, and that is why. Thank you, Combs, for trying to call me out for not wanting to wait six months to get my car fixed and not being "fair" to in network customers. I was willing to wait, had it not been for my insurance company being made to look like the reason they didn't want my business.

I was rear ended in a handicapped parking spot. Progressive insurance told me to take it to Combs Collision, Israel St., Westerville, OH. The first person I spoke with was Dana. She is amazing & handles calls! She is friendly professional, encouraging, helpful, knowledgeable & kind.I made arrangements with her to take my car in to have it repaired. The guys that did the bodywork on my car did a wonderful job. After they finished I could not get the truck open so the owner got the trunk open for me and clarified what the sensor lights meant and turned one of them off. What a well run business!!! Thank you Combs Collision; you are the BEST!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

While I hope I don't have to be a frequent visitor to Paul and team at Combs Collison, if I ever need that kind of work again they will be my first call. They did a great job restoring my car to "brand new status" (it's only 6 months old) after an accident. They all were friendly (Sue, Nate and Paul), professional and they know their stuff!!! I would give them 6 stars if I could! THANK YOU!

My side mirror had a small crack where it connects. Combs got me in immediately and Owner Paul Combs assessed the issue. He explained that to replace the whole mirror and calibrate the camera would cost upwards of $1800. He explained that he thought he could fix it with a type of glue and that we should try that. Weeks later the mirror is still secured and not lose like it was when I brought it into combs. They were awesome and I highly recommend this business.Service: Body & Trim

A major rear end collision totaled my car, but I was driving a better replacement in just 8 days, despite the 3 day Memorial Day weekend. Comb's was lightning fast, with a great value estimate. Josiah is the exceptional owner, who's incredibly knowledgeable and skillful, plus great to get along with. Across the board, Comb's has a first-class team,. My highest rating!
