I test drove a 2010 Suburban LTZ and 2013 Yukon Denali here a few weeks ago. Although the vehicles didn t check the boxes I was looking for, I would recommend this dealership to anyone. There s a good selection of vehicles here as well. They answered all my questions and provided a detailed summary as far as recent maintenance goes. Very good service and customer care. Thank you Ron for a pleasant car buying experience!

I have been a long time customer even when it was Mike Swaneys. Over the past year I have been disappointed in the service department. I just had my oil changed on 12-1-23 and when I called in a week ahead to schedule my appointment I told Chris my tires had been rotated on 10-31-23 so no need for that just oil change. He put me in and I repeated oil change only no tire rotation. He got smart with me and said yes I have you down for oil change only. The day come for the oil change and I dropped my car off saying it was for oil change. Chris said yes we will take car of it. Came back to pick up and Chris was out to lunch and the guy that took car of me said I they did oil change and tire rotation. I got upset and told him I told Chris no tire rotation. He went ahead and took it off my bill. Definitely wasn't paying for it! Now I have pay someone else to rotate my tires again! I do not recommend Evans. They don't listen or call you when they aren't sure about something and I feel the job has become sloppy. I feel because I am a women they think I'm too dumb to notice anything . Again I don't recommend them. It's not the same as when it was Mike Swaneys. I didn't even want to give them one star.12-7-23 Evans called me and asked me to come back and they would rotate my tires. They apologized and gave me two coupons and admitted I said oil change only. I appreciate that they worked to rectify their mistake.

I had an issue with my car and called in to see if it can be looked at and he said we will take a look at it bring it in. And they fixed the problem with in a hour. I highly recommend them! They are all nice and welcoming my son even said they were nice! All hard workers!

They were very friendly, accommodating and even stayed late so we could finish the sale. They had the best deal within several hundred miles. I would recommend any of them, especially our salesman Eric Oen.

On the road and needed to have my oil changed. Without an appointment, they were able to squeeze me in and take care of it for me. I am glad they were able to take care of my truck.

Thay sold a truck to a friend of mine and the farm is dun for and thay won't do nothing about it thay sold a unsafe vehicle please do not bye frome they people for your safety

I've bought several new and used vehicles from different dealerships, never had such a hard time with communication after the sale. I was told it would be detailed and ready to go. Still had trash in the back seat pocket, sticky gunk in cup holders and doors, didn't even fill the tank, calls & emails don't work. I guess they got me. 1 time is all you get.

I told them I wanted to know what the cost will be before servicing anything on my vehicle. Then they performed service on it without any prior consent or notice of a charge. The service guy said the mechanic had 3 hours on it and I owed them money. They were just supposed to look at it and give me an estimate and I told him several times to let me know if there would be any charge. After hearing there quote of $1,000 I told him I wanted to weigh my options because I am not working right now and wasn't expecting it to be that much and he literally started yelling at me and asked how I was going to pay for anything to be done to it if I am not working. He wouldn't stop yelling and had to hang up on him. I guess they are doing well enough to turn down a chance to service 3 vehicles, have me tell everyone about my experience, and treat people like dirt because they aren't wealthy.

Overall experience was not as good as it has been previously. I am not exactly sure how to describe it but I felt it everywhere. Possibly a lower level of professionalism would describe it. The work was seemingly fine well

Eric Oen was great. Being in sales myself I know it's sometimes difficult to slow down a customer. Especially me. and thats what he did even though I already knew what I wanted. He paid attention to my needs and what I was trying to accomplish. Made me feel very sure that I was not making a mistake buying from them. For that reason alone made my buying experience very nice and made me feel as if I was the most important person there and that my friends is service! 5 out of 5 stars highly recommend!

Please don't come here. We bought a 2013 Equinox from a different dealer. We noticed a noise and the engine would run very rough only when coming to a stop. We brought it to American Chevrolet after I had looked into what the issue could be. That year of Equinox had a bad problem with oil consumption because of bad piston rings, so it would burn oil. We figured taking it to a certified Chevrolet dealer would be the best place to have a big repair done. The SUV was right around 100K miles, when I dropped it off I explained what I believed the issue could be but the car salesman who was filling in for the service advisor completely dismissed it and said it was likely a timing chain. I have some automotive background but am by no means a technician so while I didn't think that was correct I decided to trust them and didn't make a fuss. They "diagnose" it as a timing chain and tell me they can replace it for $1,800 (that was the cheapest option the gave us). They "fix" it and we get it back and all seems fine for about a month. Then the same issues start right back up again. I bring it back to them and they tell me what's causing it is my serpentine belt and tensioner... that has nothing to do with a rough running engine. They wanted $450 to replace it, I said no and did it myself for $120. When I had went to pick it up they were close to closing and no one was at the service desk so I went to the sales room where I had to stand there and wait for the 3 salesmen to stop having a little chat, one of which was the afore mentioned salesman. The RO that they gave me for the timing chain didn't even have the concerns I had mentioned. All it said was "engine noise", very precise work they do there... finally I took it to Kern's and told them I believed it was the piston rings, they ACTUALLY diagnosed ot and it was indeed the piston rings which was about $3,000 but I was happy to pay it because that was the real issue. It's been running like a top for about 3 months now with no issues. American Chevrolet even lied and said the timing chain had jumped a tooth and that was what was causing the issue but if that had happened, my timing would have been out continuously and not just while coming to a stop. Again, it was the salesman that told me that, I don't know if that's what the techs were telling him but in either case it was a lie. They only diagnosed it as a timing chain because it was at 100K which is the absolute laziest thing you can do. The funny part is, is that had they ACTUALLY, done the diagnosis correctly, the timing chain would've been replaced along with the piston rings and they could have made a lot more money, been correct, and have had a repeat customer. Crumby work gets crumby reviews. Please don't come here.

Looked at a vehicle before it was ready for sale and was informed that would be getting body work. Left my info shook hands and was assured I'd be contacted first soon as done. Drove through lot like I do every morning truck marked sold. No call. No message. Not impressed and will not shop here.

While on a trip to Texas we had a problem with our 2018 GMC 2500. Staying in a local hotel we came out and found for some reason the batteries had went completely dead! Called the dealership before opening hours and got a hold of Rick, who promptly sent out 2 mechanics to get us going. This is the kind of dealership that will promote GMC as professional Grade! Nice knowing that GMC is everywhere you travel.

Been buying all my vehicles from there for over 20 yrs. when it was Swaynes. Evans purchased the dealership and when all the people I know are there are gone I'll have to reevaluate.

American Chevrolet Buick GMC Inc in Wapakoneta came highly recommended. When I called their service department, Chris, the service department manager was very professional and recognized the Torque Converter Clutch Shudder I had described. We discussed the TSBs 18-NA-177 and 18-NA-355. They assured me they would do a flush of the transmission with 24 quarts of Mobil 1 Synthetic LV ATFHP fluid. American Chevrolet Buick GMC Inc completed the flush and advised it would take 500 to 1,000 miles for the shudder to go away.

We have used American Chevrolet Buick GMC beginning when they were Oen Pontiac and then Swaney Pontiac. We have almost exclusively dealt with Eric Oen and Mike Swaney. They have taken care of us very well, which is why we keep going back. The whole staff are wonderful people and we get excellent service.
