I have tried 5 different car shops in the area. Justin and the guys at American Muffler are by far the best. No hassle, no unexpected costs - they just are good guys who are good at fixing cars. Before the review starts let s just get one thing straight and out of the way. I am very picky and detailed on how things need to be done because I do certain things with the car and take into account what I will to do for future uses. So with that being said.This shop was recommended from a coworker who I trust in his judgement of car shops as he is as picky as me. I decided to make my 2hr drive as the shops around me and one in particular said no one works on stainless steel . I laughed and said thank you and turned around and walked right out. I work for automotive parts store and worked as a sales rep for auto parts stores where I go to these exact shops. So for him to make that claim. Tells me to never go there or recommend his shop. So any way. I go there and was helped immediately because I was the only one there at that particular time. So that was a plus. Now I stated what I would like done to the exhaust pipe section that had broke and he did his examination and went from there. Needless to say. This was done like 3 months ago. So I felt the review time is appropriate as I took a big trip to South Carolina and was putting it through my tests I like to do. To make sure it can handle what I do and I am very pleased and happy to say that these guys here at this particular AMERICAN MUFFLER. Is amazing and smart to get the job the done. The bonus to this was the price. Price was amazing as I already had an estimate in mind since I got quotes from the shops that were only miles from where I am from.Professional quality and services, very nice and honest individuals and great pricing! So I gave my Star based on actual work and not just because it was recommended. I m a quality not quantity type of guy.

I have an older model Honda Civic. Instead of trying to sell me a new replacement for the whole exhaust, they were willing to listen to what I needed and delivered at a shockingly low price. Thay even squeezed me in without an appointment and had me back on the road in a couple hours.I will definitely be back to use their services.

T/T did an excellent job on the 2017 Subaru l took in. Quick and reasonable pricing. Thank you guys for job well done. I'd recommend American Muffler to anyone in need of mechanical work. I give them a 5 star . Stop in and see T/T. Tell then Jim sent you. You won't be disappointed.

The guys here are great! I had my muffler replaced, and they got it done within an hour. They had to order it and it only took a few days to arrive. The pricing was absolutely reasonable. I will definitely be back to get work done here.

Went here to get my brakes fixed because they were not working properly and they got me in right away! Explained the issue and gave me a on-the-spot quote for the cost and it was quite affordable! They had my car fixed and ready in about an hour! They don't have much of a waiting room which is my only minor complaint, but it is worth the walk up to downtown Wadsworth to shop and sit at a local restaurant and they will call you when your car is ready. Will definitely do business here again!

I want to make a shout out to the guys at American Muffler here in Wadsworth. My daughter needed her tire plugged and they took time out of their busy schedule to get it fixed for her! They are very professional and friendly! You guys rock and I would recommend you to anyone!

They are amazing! They are the only place/people I let touch my car! They pinpointed the problem with noth of my vehicles super quick when other places didnt even know what the noises were. They do great work with the cheapest prices around. They're super friendly too! They make you feel like family when you drop your car off! I wont have any other shop work on my car.

Have taken my car there twice now and both times I've received nothing but excellent service. Everything they've done has been quick and has lasted, and they have never tried to gouge me on prices. My entire family brings their cars here, and we're really grateful to have an honest mechanic in the area.

Needed some work done on a downpipe I had bought for my WRX. I asked if they could weld on a new flange but they somehow managed to clean up the old one and make it look brand new! Very impressed with the quality and price. Definitely will be doing business here again.

I love this place! I have been here to have my loud muffler checked out. They were able to repair it and the cost was so reasonable!!! I stopped back again today because of a loose heat shield. They pulled my car right in and secured it at NO cost!! I will definitely be coming back when it's time for brakes.

The guys at American Muffler work on all of my cars. The 1984 Cutlass in front of the shop is my car. It was my Grandmother's last car, and they rebuilt it from top to bottom, even replacing the engine. They put on a dual exhaust with glass packs, and when you start it, it makes the sweetest sounds you've ever heard. Fine quality top notch work at a great price. I had them install a prefabricated cat-back exhaust. The system had everything required to "bolt on". The guys took the step of actually welding the entire system. Definitely an extra step (or two) that was not necessary, but greatly appreciated.P.s.- the system sounds awesome guys!!!

I had a check engine light so I brought my vehicle in and they assessed the issue, gave me a few options to help solve it and not once pressured me into anything. I will be back if work ends up needing done.

These guys I met thru a friend of my moms they have been nothing but helpful and I am in process of having my jeep worked on I know it will be correct and I feel I have a new mechanic at this time thankful for these guys

I dropped my car off for a oil change and a check before vacation Justin found a leak in my radiator and replaced it for for fair price! Literally the only place I'll take my car now
