I will never shop advanced auto parts in Wadsworth ever again. A bunch of morons work at this location, particularly the ones that worked on Friday night of 4/12/2024. I literally called the store at 8:37 to let the poor, old bloke who answered it know that I was on my way to pick up a very small part. Knowing that the store closed soon, and as somebody who used to work retail back in high school, I thought it be courteous to let the store know the part number and that I would be arriving between 8:55-8:57. I pulled in at 8:57 and was met with a locked door. I shook the door as the worker behind the counter ignored me. I called the store and the worker ran to the back. Unbelievable, as I had just talked to him and told him I would be there right before close. When I worked retail we weren t allowed to close up shop before posted time or you got written up by the manager I worked at a mom and pop shop, so I wonder how corporate will feel. It takes one minute for you to ring out the part I told you I was coming to get in advance, and it takes three minutes to run the batch and lock up .it s unbelievable that this employee doesn t have the capacity to do that. Thank you for wasting 45 minutes of my night. I will never waste another dime at this store, and potentially any advanced auto parts location unless I m in a severe pinch. NEVER AGAIN!

Advance Auto Parts has a decent selection and their Speed Perks loyalty program is worth signing up for. However, be sure to check prices online before heading to the store. I recently found a 20% off coupon online for a brake package that was only 15% off in store.

Most part they are good. Changed distributors so when they say parts will be there next day they aren't. Ordered parts Friday at 4 and they were not in the 3 deliveries Saturday. They said come back Monday. So next day is actually 3 days. If you can't change that, change what you are telling your customers

I walked in to get some pricing on a power steering pump. They had no issues with give me prices and made sure they had the right parts.They are very friendly and happy to help.

Went yesterday to get a battery replaced. Person behind counter said per the computer it would take take at least 45 minutes because he had to remove windshield wiper and cowling , and it most likely take 3 times as long and he would not commit his employees to that job . I told him none of that would need to be removed to replace the battery, and even asked him to take a look. He replied computer said 45 minutes ,we can t do it .Drove across the street to AutoZone and surprise . In and out with a new battery installed in less that 25 minutes. I paid slightly more but worth it. I definitely don t mind paying more for good customer service.Advanced Auto DO BETTER!!!!

I've always had a great experience at the Lodi and Wadsworth I frequent the Wadsworth won a lot there's a gentleman there named Mark he does outstanding work he's never let me down he's always got the part ready he knows what he's talking about he's easy to deal with and every day you're going there and see him he acts like he won the lottery so happy all the time but Mark's a good guy I don't really know too many people there but I'm sure the rest of my great too but Mark stands out because he helped me out a lot keep up the good work

Prices are high but staff and convenience factor are good.Recommend price shopping or calling before you walk into the sticker shock.Always price shop batteries, these auto stores like to really overcharge

Should maybe look into hiring some people with better attitudes. My husband went in to return a ball joint press and the girl Maggie that was working (blonde and pink hair) came to the front, glared at him and turned around and walked away. The guy behind the counter was nice though.

Had what I was looking for. Slightly higher in price than other options but they offer price matching as well as other options. The attendant was pleasant. Overall a good auto parts store.

Went in looking for new headlights. I wanted the brightest possible as I cant see very well at night, I spent 73 dollars on the so called brightest. I installed them and they weren't any brighter than my old ones no refund extremely upset. I called and Gary the one who sold them to me said no refunds will never return to this one or any advanced auto parts.

My particular Advance Auto happens to have some good people working for them, and any time something hasn't been right they've gone above and beyond to make it right.. I get weekly deals and monthly discount coupons so when my 20+ year old, pain in the butt, German car needs attention, I can get the parts and save a few bucks..

Worst customer service ever. Went in looking for specific nuts and bolts. I was only customer in store. Nothing but prepackaged hardware. Difficult to determine sizes through packaging. 3 people behind counter but no one could take the time to help. Too busy joking around. No need to go back there. Might as well install a self service vending machine with that kind of help.

Have been there a few times. Always helpful. Usually have parts in stock or able to locate them. Recently was given the wrong break pads and was unable to return to the store as I was working on my only transportation. They apologized, found the correct part and delivered them to my door in about 20 minutes. Keep up the good work.

Hey, i went into Advance Auto and the service was great. Personal was polite and knowledge. Unfortunately they didnt have the item i wanted but they cant stock everything. My place to go to buy . Thank you

Clerk stands behind the counter and points to area that an advertised item was supposed to be on the bare shelves. What a joke! I know nothing about amps needed and left there without the item. Went across the street and was helped by a knowledgeable clerk who made the sale.

Ordered my parts online said would b ready in thirty minutes when I arrived over a hour later they hadn t even printed my pull ticket so had to stand there 10 more minutes while they pulled my parts I ordered phone was ringing all the other employees in the store were standing there while the young lady answered the phone & attempted to pull my parts at the same time the store was completely empty with no customers y was only one person actually doing there job

Ordered a part from there. Called 2 times now its been over a week. Nobody knows where my part is and it doesnt show up on the computer. If you want to throw your money away go there to get your parts...waste of time

Asked about replacing a battery, they said they couldn t do it because they couldn t find it. During the process I looked it up and discovered it was under the passenger seat, but neither associate seemed very thrilled about it so I decided to go somewhere else.
