First experience: went to get a discontinued part for my G8. There were two on the shelf at a dealership in Washington state; i know this because i called that dealer, however, they would not sell them to me over the phone and ship. I went to Smedleys parts to see about doing a dealer to dealer transfer; standard practice as I came from working for car dealers. Smedleys parts said they were not available. After telling them where the parts were and supplying the dealers information in WA, they said the part is not available and can not be ordered l. I went to White Allen Chevrolet, supplied the WA dealer information, and they got them to me no problem. White Allen was dumbfounded as to why Smedleys would lose a sale like that.Second experience: my mom's car got hit and Smedleys did the repairs. They had panels not aligned, clips broken, broken window belt molding (was not broken going into the body shop as the door was not involved in the accident; they needed to blend the paint into the door which is whybit was removed), the damaged and deformed wheel liner damaged from the accident was not replaced, the headlamp tab on the drivers headlight was still broken (hit on the right front corner). The grill has a gap on the right between the headlamp and is touching the left headlamp (reson why the headlamp tab is broken; front end is shifted) and this also indicated the front is shifted, even just slightly. The guy that came out who was dealing with the car (service advisor, i guess) was rude and needed to be put in his place, I just didn't want to have cops called. If he makes comments like he did yo me, someone will lose it and knock him down, figuratively and literally. He also said that the manager wouldn't call me since I'm not the owner of the car but I have all the information on the poor repairs, as well as pictures.I have 18 years working for dealers as a technician before leaving the industry. Flat rate and watching people produce poor repairs like this taking advantage of people who don't know any better got me to leave.If you do use their services (don't), be careful, do full walk around with pictures, and stand your ground

Was in the market for a truck. Smedley s offered a lot of great deals on many trucks. They got me in and helped me find the best truck for my budget as well as what I was in the market for. It was a great experience and once you come to an agreement the process is quick and smooth. Couldn t be happier with the team at Smedley s. Will definitely be my dealership of choice going forward!

I had a very good experience at Smedley s, came from Michigan in search of the perfect truck. They were helpful and understanding that I had a long drive just to see the vehicle. After test driving and inspecting, I was able to take the truck home that same night.

Friendly staff and excellent vehicles. Be careful when you go to sign your purchase paperwork. They will attempt to get you to purchase extra, unnecessary items. I was sold gap insurance for $800-$900 when it only cost $300-$400 at the credit union I financed the truck with. I'm going there tomorrow to return the gap insurance and purchase it through the credit union. Again, friendly staff and selection. I would buy another vehicle from them. I would never purchase gap insurance from them.

The actual experience was fine and timely. Unfortunately, a week and a half after an oil change my oil low warning light came on. After investigation I found the oil filter had come loose and allowed approximately 3-4 quarts of oil out. I further observed oil remnants located on top of the air intake cover indicating to me the tech didn't clean up their mess. It's understood that mistakes can be made but not at the expense of possible engin failure. I will be contacting the Service Department for resolution.

The salesman and finance department were top notch. Everything went smoothly. I was able to get my vehicle in within a few days of getting an engine warning light. The mechanics were also kind and courteous. However .. I wasn t too happy with having to get repairs a mere 32 days after purchase. It just makes me wonder if the vehicle thoroughly inspected prior to being placed on the lot. What made matters worse was this issue was not covered by the warranty sold by the dealership. That clearly defeats the purpose of buying it. Lastly, the mechanics found another area that may be in need of repair within the year. That was unsatisfactory news for such a recent purchase. For those reasons, I must rate my overall experience as poor.

Let's talk about a truly amazing experience. From beginning to end, this is been the absolute best car buying experience yet. We have purchased all of our vehicles from Smedley's and always had amazing experiences. But this one tops them all. I've gotta to stop for a minute and talk about Ricky and Bobby or as I will always refer to them as, " Shake N Bake". These gentlemen showed me the true meaning of going above and beyond. Taking my text after hours. Handling my never-ending phone calls with style grace. Going above and beyond to provide information for me ahead of time. I came to the dealership to purchase one vehicle. My husband and I ended up purchasing two. My husband is an amputee and these men went above and beyond to make him comfortable buying a vehicle that he could not yet test drive. It takes a special set of people to take into account the special needs of someone and in detail explain the vehicle. From taking the time to look at my husband's pedal changes in his previous truck. To helping us make sure that it was removed properly to be installed in his beautiful new truck. Both Ricky and Bobby went beyond what they needed to do professionally to make my husband's transition seamless. All while taking care of my purchase and understanding of my beautiful new truck. So if the owners, big bosses or any of the higher ups are reading this, show Ricky and Bobby, the same love they showed us. These gentlemen are very valuable assets. They are the reason that , not only did I buy a better truck than I came for, but so did my husband. That never would have happened, had these gentlemen not performed ABOVE & BEYOND professional. Their kindness and caring while helping a disable veteran make a purchase, that is normally a very complicated and frustrating situation for my husband, is the reason I'm calling this my BEST purchase yet at Smedley's. Any sales rep can sell a car. But not every one of them can take the time, care and concern to handle the difficulties of selling in complicated situations. Took 2024 tuck in for service was fine , but park assist did not work but intermittent. They said (NO FAULT). No code ? I said ok,, And still does not . At another dealership so let s see has 5100 miles has never work correctly since I got it. !!!

I was never called to discuss and approve the car being fixed. Called and checked on it with vague information. When the car was ready, the man was very friendly but still concerned that everything was repaired correctly and would have loved to talk to the mechanic about what needed fixed after I was hit. Overall the car looks okay but just got it back.

Amazing dealership with a super knowledgeable staff all around. From the minute I stepped onto the lot Carl was ready to answer any questions with an honest respect. They've supposedly "fixed" my car 6 times. Yet it once again for the 7th time exploded. While I was 700 miles away from home. Don't go here. This has been going on for 3 years. They don't care about customers just lining their wallets. For instance - there has been metal slamming in my front end. They told me it was a bent rim. $675 later... my car still makes the noise. I called back and left 3 messages telling them that no call back. Just a couple glowing examples.

My 1st buying experience at Smedley's Chevrolet yesterday. I bought a new Silverado. I have to say Jake and Joey were very easy to work with on the sales end. I also switched out the tires and the service folks were all very pleasant as well. I've purchased several Silverado's in my life and this was the best experience I have had. I drove the truck home and I love it. I would recommend visiting them if you are looking for a new vehicle.

Dealership had a good price posted on their website about a nicely equipped new truck. Called in and asked for sales, got Dennis. Dennis proceeded to waste the next 20+ minutes of my time (and his) going through discounts, details, and trade info on a truck that I was later informed on a call back was ordered as a retail sold vehicle. I gave him the stock number and everything. How could a salesman not know what's sold when you even give them the stock number? Poor sales and sales management!

Brought my Tahoe in to have the transmission flushed and the fluid changed, after making a appointment and waiting a week for that appointment. I received no flush but they wanted to put a trans cooler on which is not what I came on for. Ended up paying $140 for them to pull the dipstick and say there's no metal shaving in the fluid and to get my truck back. Quit trying to sell stuff to customers that they don't need and just do what they asked for. Took it to a local shop and everything is complete and they made $400,Thanks for making me believe that I should just just the small business .

I usually like the service I get here but this time not as much. I asked for my tire sensor to be reset, Noone said anything when they brought my bill and keys, when I got in the car it was not reset had to get out go back in and was told it probably needs the sensor replaced so I had to make another appointment for that. I feel like the person that brought my keys should have told me that and went over my car inspection but nothing was said.

Carl Ike was wonderful in helping me select my new trailblazer. He had an answer to all my questions even when I called later in off hours. He was extremely patient and kind. The finance person was great too. All in all I will recommend Smedleys to friends and family.

This is the second time I have had my new vehicle serviced. Chris and the team are on point and on time and they were done within 15 minutes of my appointment time!!! Professional and courteous over the phone and in person. The young lady who checked me in with blonde hair: super nice and professional and had a big smile.03/07/2024. Third time's a charm. Same great service. The only complaint I have is the coupons are useless. What's the point of even wasting the paper and ink to print them?

I had a horrible customer service experience at Smedley s. I bought a truck bed cover through the parts department and paid for the service department to install it. I gave them my VIN number. However, it did not fit properly and was not wide enough.They argued it would stretch but that was a lie. I paid cash and I have to get a check refund. They would not reimburse my installation charge because it was not defective. They were rude in person with us and on the phone with other customers. I will not be back and had planned to do a small collision job done.
