I've worked for Yark and I highly recommend them. My story starts at yark chevy in Perrysburg, worked there for about a year. Met tons of sales members and went to one this year to ask about getting a new vehicle. I told Jason (Crazy Pants) I was interested in the 2024 Subaru Impreza yet also still interested in looking to the chevy trailblazer, equinox, and blazer. Well he told me even as a chevy salesrep to go to Subaru. I talked to Cameron multiple times and he talked all my options with me, bottom line is I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much as a company and much more. I love my new car.

Can't thank this dealership enough for helping us out immediately and quickly! We are on a cross country road trip and had an issue with the brakes. Dustin, at Yark, was kind and helpful and able to remedy the issue inside of an hour. He took us right in, didn't hint at giving us a hard time, as we showed up unannounced.

Yark Subaru caused $4460.17 worth of damage to my 2023 Subaru Forester after taking it in for an oil change. They offer a free car wash which I politely declined at the end of my service stating it had a very expensive ceramic coating and the automated wash would severely damage it. You cannot wash ceramic coating through a touch car wash, it has to be washed by hand or by a touchless car wash. It was documented I denied the car wash for this very reason. Sadly, they ignored the service sheet and washed my vehicle anyway. They even scratched the inside of my door which is maddening. After confronting Steve the service manager he denied any wrong doing. He kept telling me they wash hundreds of ceramic coated vehicles this way with no issue, despite photo documentation showing the thousands of micro scratches. Yark flat out refused to pay if my original detailer fixed the damage. They would only cover the repair if their 3rd party detailer down the road was assigned. This 3rd party detailer informed Yark these scratches were from "filler" being washed out. Sadly, this isn't how ceramic coating works and is a huge red flag. This was an Opti-Coat Pro3 coating that cost over $3,000 to apply. It was done by one of the best detailers in Ohio. Between their sleazy 3rd party detailer and the professional I used, this resolution was hardly acceptable. I was forced to go through my insurance to ensure this was repaired properly and with a competent detailer. Please, don't let Yark repair their mistakes in house or with "their guy". You as the owner have every right to choose your repair man after they failed. Yark, your response to this grievance isn't the full story. You never admitted fault and offered every excuse that a car wash could never damage ceramic coating. We never set up a repair because I told you again and again, the original detailer would fix the damage. You wanted to go the cheapest route that only worked for you, regardless if this was your mistake. Either you are willfully ignorant to ceramic coatings care and maintenance or you are simply untruthful. You cannot be both.

Just had an amazing experience with salesman Kyle! He helped me understand the differences between the Impreza and Crosscheck and which vehicle is a better fit for me. He was informative, kind, and sold me the idea of the car without pressuring me into buying like other reps. I hope his superiors recognize his hard work and dedication.

I drove down to Yark from Michigan to look at cars after an unpleasant experience with the local dealership. Yark could not have been better. They were responsive, fair, transparent and helpful. Nick Cook was a great sales person and the entire staff was wonderful.

Edit: we had a financing issue come up post-purchase. Went back to see Brett, and he more than successfully resolved our issue. Yark wants their customers to be satisfied!Pleasant car-buying experience. Shout out to Jennifer Painter and Brett in Finance!

I received a call stating that'll it'll be 3 weeks to get the car started I call back and tell them it's okay because this is the only shop I trust to look at my car so I just waited 30 mins on the phone and was declined service because of how long the car has sat here last time we worked on it and the miles. I got a work done one my car in the pass, I told them I have the money now and Steve the tech tells me imTrying to recommend another shop. And tells me it's going to be $6k for a new transmission when I don't even know the problem. Steve tells me they don't want to service my car because how long the warranty took to approve me So now I just wasted my tow money just to get told they don't want to help me

Mia was my salesperson and she was absolutely fabulous. I drove 45 minutes to their dealership even though there is another dealership just 10 minutes from my house (one that I really don't like). The trip was worth it and we have a beautiful car and had a wonderful experience. Thank you to everyone that was involved. I was truly pleased and my son has a great car!

I have to say, I m super super disappointed in the service I received from Yark Subaru. I had a transmission failure while on a trip in Town and had my car towed to this dealership to try and diagnose. I paid for a diagnostic fee and was hoping to be able to drive home.Diagnostic came back as full transmission replacement required. Now, I know that all they freaking did was pull a code and didn t actually do any real diagnostic work. They pretty much screwed me over and cost my thousands of dollars.Based ontheir diagnostic I towed the car home and sold it at a huge loss. Low and behold the buyer told me the only thing wrong with the car was the axle was pushed out of the transmission. What?!? Yark couldn t actually look and figure that out for themselves?Frankly I m beyond mad! I sold this car based on a failed transmission, taking an almost 10k hit! Yark Subaru, do better

My wife and I had great experience purchasing a vehicle from Yark Subaru this week. Our buying experience with Cameron was excellent. He was down to earth and provided great information for a couple Subaru newbies that made the process efficient and enjoyable. Thankful for the professional experience!

When I bought my Outback 2 years ago, Yarks was great. My last 2 service visits were barely lack luster. I traded my Outback in last week-it just wasn't the car for me. Slow electronics and a temperature control that had a mind of its own. Today I went in to apply for a refund for my Added Security Program and was told it would be 90 days for a refund. Yark didn't give me a 90 option for my down payment. And to make matters worse, they charged me a $50 service fee to fill out a single sheet of paper in less than 3 minutes. I used to think this was a great dealership. Things have really gone down hill in 2 years.

The sales team was very informative and helpful. We finally landed on the vehicle both the mrs. and I loved. The finance department did amazing on helping us get the lowest monthly payment possible, and brought many things down to our understanding. The only reason not for the 5 stars is that the detailing of the vehicle was alright and not up to my standards. Now I do understand detailing is an art all of its own, but there were several obviously missed spots. Other than that, this dealership did an amazing job!

Details of the service were handled well. An efficient operation. However Suburu has no centralized service record. This is surprising for a modern car company.

My daughter and I wanted to buy a Forester or Cross trek and were fully prepared to buy. This was my first time ever that I did not see a sales person while looking at their vehicles. We found one my daughter liked and started to look for sales staff. Not one employee stopped to ask if they could help us when we went inside the building. We walked around inside for a few minutes, trying to find someone to help us. There was no one at their desk, no one to offer information, only a few employees scurrying around, avoiding eye contact with us and not one bothered to ask if they could help us. So, we left and ended up buying a beautiful new Cross trek on Carvana. I guess Yark isn't hurting all that bad for business.

We have been there twice in the last month. Each time we have been treated with relative indifference. After the first visit, we called to make an evening appointment to drive a car we liked but the salesman said he was too busy the only evening they stay open late. We tried and got an appointment on a different night a couple of weeks later but we couldn't drive the car we wanted to buy because it was on display at Costco. He set us up with a different model. We had to sign liability waivers and prove insurance prior to driving. That is something we never had to do at Volvo. When we said we needed a car ASAP, the salesman checked his incoming inventory but was reticent to check with other dealers for us. Thank goodness for the internet. We will probably purchase a car from a dealer in a different town or just go back to volvo where we have always been treated with respect and trust.

Worked with Alex and I would not recommend. I bought a car because I liked the car. The sales person was horrible. Did not answer his phone when I called and came off as if I was wasting his time.To top things off, when I picked up the car, he gave it to me almost on empty. Not sure if that was on purpose or not, but would not recommend using Alex as a salesman to anyone. The finance team and the car itself is great.

I purchased a Honda Element (2011) from Yark 10 days ago. When I called about the car I spoke with Mia Knicely. She held the car for me since I was coming from Cincinnati. She was as pleasant in person as she was on the phone. We closed the deal promptly and I had the car delivered to my house the next day. Mia made sure everything went smoothly and called me just to be sure. I found a great car and someone who really helped me out - thanks!

I helped my mother select her newest vehicle. She thought she wanted a Forester, however it was way too big for her. (09 to 16 is a large size change). Nick helped us test drive several vehicles until she found her perfect fit. It happened to be an Impreza 2016 premium package. We had outside financing, but Araya helped us immensely with processing paperwork quickly and accurately. This was a wonderful experience priced perfectly. No issues even though she was a Michigan buyer.

Had tires rotated and oil changed and Tex tells me I'm going to need back breaks and rotors . There's no way I'm happy about to make my 4th payment and I need breaks already.

My husband (D) and I were surprised, angry and disappointed with service received at Yark Subaru on 12/29/22. We drive an hour each way and pay a bit more at Subaru because of their friendly, professional service. When making an appointment for an oil change, I mentioned that our battery periodically fails to start in all seasons, not just winter. We reported this problem previously. Subaru checked the battery then and noted the battery reserve was good but its cranking health was low. I received a notice that a class-action suit was filed against Subaru regarding this very issue. The scheduler gave me a phone # to call and get a claim # that would defray the cost of fixing the problem. I gave the code to our Subaru service advisor when we arrived. We waited over 3 hours for our car before D asked the service billing person (TC) what was taking so long. TC said we needed a new battery but the code would not help since we still have the original Subaru battery. She quoted a battery replacement price of over $400. D objected to the $250 installation cost. TC blamed the computer and lowered total cost to $343.49. We told TC we would get our battery elsewhere. I had researched online RE: class action suit. Evidently, the problem is not with the battery but with communication between the engine battery and interior battery. TC told us they received a computer code to fix the problem. Why didn't they enter it to fix our problem? She said if we buy a battery elsewhere, we will have to pay for them to install the code. Our total bill for oil change and tire rotation was $274.20 due to an unexpected charge of $136.95 for testing our battery. We had not requested battery testing, just whatever the "discount" code required to fix the problem. We objected to the bill. TC said they had to pay their technician for 3 hours of battery testing. Ironic that a code we were advised to use for a discount because Subaru's battery system did not work properly ended up enriching them instead, without beginning to address the battery problem.

Mostly, this is a review about a new service person named Tracy, it was obvious to me that she was still figuring out the system which has been constantly changing, but she never changed her demeanor of positive happiness! She made my experience better than it would have been. Thank you Tracy and thank you! Yark Subaru for having the wisdom to hire such great people

Stopped in to see if they could change my wiper blades right before the snow storm hit and they were able to change them in a matter of minutes right in front of me. Tyler the service person behind the desk who helped me out was outstanding. He was very polite and accommodating.

Everything was OK except for the fact that obtaining the tire rebate form took a week or more because no one really knew anything about it and didn t want to spend much time looking for it. I didn t receive it until 4:45 pm on the date that it had to be postmarked by, so it was too late to submit it. I had to contact the tire company and plead with them to accept it because it wasn t my fault it was too late. Fortunately they were willing to do that. Please make sure your employees are informed about such things so customers are aware of the rebates and can take advantage of them because, honestly, I probably would have gone to Tireman or another tire business to buy them otherwise.
