PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEWEXCELLENT service, EXCELLENT body technicians, EXCELLENT mechanics. EXCELLENT staff. I recommend Yark Collision to anyone. I even convinced my boss to start taking our vehicles to Yark!I took my brand new 2023 Chevy Colorado trail boss that had under 3k miles on it to Yark because someone had run a red light causing a considerable amount of damage to the right front quarter of my truck (see pictures). I assumed based on the amount of damage it would never be the same. I dealt with Eric at Yark Collision who was very empathetic and understanding that I was just devastated. I told Eric that I knew the truck would never be the same. All I asked was for them to do their very best to make it as new as possible again no matter how long it takes. Throughout the process, Eric kept me informed of the status and always returned my calls if he didn't answer and there were a lot of calls. Undrrstandably, there were several challenges getting parts since the truck is a 2023 not to mention a UAW strike slowing the process even more. However, Eric continued with the work he could until the parts came in.The end result was $25k in repairs including a new frame. Essentially rebuilding the truck as they do in the factory. It took approximately 5 months to finish the work and I was without my truck for 6 months total but the end result was I got my BRAND NEW truck back! I have a mechanical background and i am very detailed and picky. I drove the truck tested the handling and all the functions stringently. I inspected every inch inside and out, top to bottom but could not find anything that was unacceptable.The only way I could be happier is if the accident never occurred.Thank you so much Eric!Jeffery Smith

I just got my truck back from hail damage repair at Yark collision the workmanship was excellent. The paint match on the hood that had to be replaced was perfect and the truck was clean inside and out.I am very happy with the work done. I was very impressed with everything done and want to thank Nick Hartman who went above and beyond with the service.Thanks again Nick.

I understand companies have trouble finding good workers, however I cannot stress enough how unskilled and incompetent the staff is at the Yark Collision Center. They attempted to fix factory defects in the paint of my brand new Tahoe. They took over 4x longer than estimated, caused new damage (I feel intentionally out of frustration due to a lack of ability to fix the issues), had to repaint it at least twice, put on 100 miles unnecessarily (without any reimbursement), and caused permanent damage to my cars clear coat. It looks like my car went through 1,000 automated car washes with swirls and scratches everywhere. They burned marks into the hood and even in areas they did not paint. The GM of the Perrysburg Chevy said that car will never look better than it does now . I would rate it a 0/5 if it would let me. I have been doing paint correction and machine polishing on my own vehicles for 10+ years and honestly it s tough to cause this amount of damage. The picture I included is how it looks all over the front corner panel, rear panel, and my hood - their finished product. And this is over brand new paint?! I should have paid out of pocket and taken to a real body shop. Lesson learned.Service: Painting

I took my car here for a minor fender bender and the service was quick and professional. Unfortunately I was rear ended and I have to take my car back next month for another repair! I expressed my concerns to the adjuster I felt like he acknowledged them. We will see. I will be back to update my review.

I have gotten my vehicle repaired at the body shop at Yark collision center. Yark collision center does excellent work on a vehicle, they do a phenomenal job however they are not honorable on when they say that they are going to get your car in to repair it. My vehicle has been at their body shop since early August and they have not begun to start repairs on it yet. I have been told 2 different times by the adjuster that they were going to start working on my vehicle and they have not started on it yet.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had my car for around 2.5 months. The car was in the shop due to hail damage. Upon picking up the vehicle we noticed the hail damage was repaired for the most part, but whatever tech did the body work was careless, did poor body work, and damaged the car in the process that was not related to hail damage (if you ever go here inspect your car prior to leaving. Guarantee they ll mess up something). All said and done yesterday they did repair most of the damage, but they needed to do work on the trunk and noticed some damage today that was not there prior. We dropped the car off at 7:30am and we decided to check in around 3pm to see where they were at fixing the damages. We found the car in the lot with my key fob out in the open on the dashboard for anyone to see or drive off with the vehicle.Just kind of angry at the fact it was like pulling teeth to get them to fix their mistakes. Never once was there an apology for the damages that occurred while the car was there and seemed to never accept responsibility. At this point not even sure if I want to bring the car back to fix additional damages because the car will probably accrue more damage from their carelessness. Also payed 1k in rental car coverages due to my car sitting on the lot during the repairs untouched for 3 weeks (ran out of rental car coverages), and a deductible on a car that they damaged without compensation.

I was rear ended and the insurance company was not very helpful and did not want to approve all aspects of my car to be repaired, but Yark really went above and beyond to make sure everything was done properly! Awesome work you guys! Took a month for the car to even be torn down due to a miscommunication problem, a state farm rep and I confirmed the car to be fixed over phone with Dave and he sent an email to state farm awaiting confirmation even though it was done over phone, so a month of water time, when I got the car back the clutch was releasing at the top and is slipping in 6th when accelerating now when car is warm, if the clutch was damaged for the car stalling in the accident, it should have been addressed or if your lot boy that moves cars around beat my car the way I saw him peel out in a challenger set when I got a estimate months before for my rear bumper, the problem should have been addressed or asked to confirm of the clutch happened to be at the end of its life to confirm previous damage which it wasn't so no would never go you yark collision again

I had a terrible experience with Yark Collision Center. My car has been there for over 3 months, and every week they promised it would be ready by the following Friday. It's been a frustrating and unprofessional ordeal, here I am, still waiting. and I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone.

The wait time wasn't long! It is by appointment only where you can get an estimate, so that's how it should be, but still, I'm grateful! The receptionist quickly found someone to take a look at my car. They took pictures of what I wanted done. After talking and discussing a little bit, the tech went in the back to get a rough estimate and handed me the papers. A quick and easy experience!! I say a little over 30 minutes total, and if you minus the talking I did, it was even less. 10/10 would recommend

Although they did not repair my car from my accident, they where the only collision shop that would take my car in quickly and I had an estimate for the insurance in less then a week. I am from out of state so I did not have alot of time to wait. My car unfortunately was totaled, but Yark was very quick and professional to respond to my needs. I would definitely recommend them for service!

Good luck getting this place to answer the phone or update you on the status of your vehicle. Once you leave your car there it's like they intentionally ignore your calls. They do have caller ID as stated by a person at their office and I tested this theory that they were ignoring my calls by having someone else call from their phone on my behalf after I had tried calling 5 times. They picked up on the 3rd ring for them. A 3 day fix for a dent in my door turned into 8 days with no updates along the way unless I gave them a call and on the off chance they picked up or if I drove up to the collision center myself. Anytime I did get a hold of someone they would always promise it would be ready the next day and it never would be for a different reason each time. Going up there was no better as they always had an excuse why it wasn't done or seemed disappointed that I came in to ask about my car's status. It was truly astonishing to see how poorly run a dealer associated mechanic/body shop could be. I will never recommend this place to anyone and they have some serious work to do on fixing how they run their business. Truly an embarrassment to Yark as a whole and I hope that enough reviews similar to mine come up so that upper management can get involved.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I had a very poor experience at this Yark location and do not recommend taking your vehicle here.Our vehicle was dropped off May 23rd, estimate was completed May 26th, repair started June 1 and we did not receive the car back until June 16. The problem was not that the car was undergoing repair for three weeks, the problem was we were not informed of the timeframe this repair would take, and we were told over three different estimate completion dates that kept getting pushed back due to them continuously finding new parts that were needed. We would have secured a backup vehicle to have after the insurance covered rental expired had we known this amount of time was needed. In addition, the Parts team was difficult to work with as the manager was unprofessional to the point of hostility on the phone and their inaccurate initial diagnostic led to them missing crucial repair components that they had to continuously tack on throughout the repair which extended the duration of the car being in shop.We are fully aware that when fixing cars the issue is not always evident at face value, however a thorough and accurate initial diagnostic should have given the team insight into repair duration and the probable parts needed for completion. Yark did not offer any loaner vehicle nor compensation or even empathy for the complicated repair process and inconvenience. We do not recommend taking your vehicle here for repair unless you want an additional headache on top of your lost vehicle.Services: Tires, Body & Trim

They don t answer the phone, call back the next business day. Gave a link for live updates, but when checked the only thing on it was the quote. Paint didn t match original color. At first when we said the paint didn t match, we were told that s how bumpers go, but then came out to look and said that it actually didn t match. Already had vehicle 10 days, now need at least 2 more.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had windshield replaced on 2023 Tahoe. First of all, have to say the communication is not great. Dropped off at 8am; had to call to see if car was done around 4pm because no status was given. When car was picked up the auto start function wasn't working. When I started vehicle an alert appeared on display along with check engine light. Went back into office to see what the issue was. They told me they couldn't hook up to their computer because software was outdated and wouldn't be available until April or after. Only solution was to take it to a dealership but didn't offer to call them or set appointment. Basically I was given a blank stare and was left with an, "I don't know / not our problem" attitude.Upon leaving collision center, around 5pm, I called Yark Chevy in Perrysburg and they said to bring in car the next morning. When they pulled the codes it appeared all senors needed to be recalibrated from replacing windshield, which would take several hours. Thankfully they were able to get me a car for the day since I had been without one the previous day. This facility had GREAT customer service and would Highly recommend.As for the collision center, this was my first experience and definitely my last. I would not recommend nor would I ever take another one of my vehicles there for any kind of service.

Took 2 months to get an appointment for simple work. A 3 day estimate turned into 8 days with no updates. When I call, no one answers the phone so the only way to get updates is to physically go to the shop and ask. Customer service is the last priority of this shop! After getting my vehicle back, I noticed they didn t fix all the paint that needed to be. Overall, extremely disappointed and will not be back.Service: Painting

Good professional service. Truck was repaired correctly the first time. Communication and timelines were not clear and Yark was very bad at getting back to people. My car was in an accident on November 1st. I just picked it up March 16th. They are not good with customer service. Major communication issues. Calls went unanswered, messages never followed up , texting messages received at the end of the day making follow up calls not possible.I feel waiting for 3 and a half months to get my car back is not acceptable. Plus not being informed in a timely manner at all about what was going on with my car.I was told they are working on taking care of the problem so hopefully it will improve.Services: Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim, Brakes

As much as I would like to leave a great review, I can t. We hit a deer back on June 23rd and Yark received our vehicle on July 5th. We were quoted that the vehicle would be done August 5th. It was not, and we get it, things change. The date then change to the 17th, then the 23rd. We picked up the car Sept 6th. It wasn t even fully fixed. The alignment was terrible. The steering wheel needed to be at a 45� angle to go straight. On top of that there was still some sort of electrical issue where our headlights wouldn t even turn on, then they would. The car also made an obnoxious winding noise when the fans would start running. We dropped the vehicle back off the next day so they could fix their incomplete repairs. We are now getting a service electronic stability control notification. We also went and checked on the car multiple times. We have a tracker in that car and it rarely moved. It sat in the same spot for days at a time. Their office states they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and I can definitely tell you, we re no where near satisfied.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Body & Trim

Terrible!!! I was hit july 20,2022. My car was towed to yark july 26. They said my car would be finished august 25. On august 25 they said they found more damage and pushed the date back to September 12, then , 21, then 30. I went in to investigate and asked do you now have the parts and personnel to complete the job they said yes but it will take another month. Every completion date they give me is when they say they just found more damage. Today is December 1 and I still have no car. I will never return here for service and will be seeking legal advice on if a lawsuit can be filed. What ever you do.... DON'T use these guys! Where do I start...the Tahoe was hit in drivers front corner by a backing car....now the fender sticks out farther than the headlight and the hinge on hood is off the width of the hinge...so it rubs the opening when it's opened or closed...now on to the front bumper where the black chin meets is 2" higher on one side of the front plate mount...OMG...And I'm told it will settle in....Penta County body class would know that ain't happening..And the same ol song and dance when looking for answers.. BEWARE MY EXPERIENCE SCREAMS LOOK OUT!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is absolutely terrible. My fiance and I got in car accident 12/19/2020 his vehicle set at the collision center for 9 months and they did nothing to it. He would call all the time to get updates and get no answer or no call back. We finally got his truck back August 2021 and there was scratches and dings and the bed of the truck wasn't aligned or tight to the frame and a millionother things wrong. It's just like they threw it together in a day and told us it was safe to drive for now until they got the rest of the parts. He had driven it for 7 months and has had nothing but problems and a couple days ago the the brand new battery has died and they truck will not work. If he would have continued to drive it could have possibly have an electrical fire. Contacted they manager on Saturday no answer. Contacted the manager this morning still no answer. Poor customer service if you ask me.

I had such a horrible experience with the collision center. My car was towed in after hitting a deer on June 30th. I called left a message to let them know and never got a call.bacl didn't hear anything for two weeks called again they said they were waiting on my insurance company I called my insurance company who said they sent everything yark needed I was getting the run around like crazy. They never answer their phones or call you back my insurance company also had a horrible time trying to get threw to them. The girl that does work the front desk is not the friendliest. Finally after two months I get my car back. I go to pick it up and look it over and found gaps and parts that were not even snapped together and they never fixed my passenger door. I eneded up taking it somewhere else and paying out of pocket because I didn't want to deal with yark again.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Toledo this is probably the worse place to take your car as if being in an accident isn t bad enough it has been 2 months that my car have been at this shop, and still isn t finished. Every time they have gave me a date that it would be finished it s always an excuse on why it s not finished. They have done that to me 3 times already if they say they ll contact you for an update on your car don t even wait for that, cause you ll never receive a call. You have to continuously call them to check on your vehicle for an update. I wish I would ve looked at these reviews first before taking my car here cause everything that everyone is saying is true and my car had minor damages shouldn t have taken 2 whole months.
