Wouldnt by a tire from them.Overcharge for tires that don't have much thread on them for 20 $25.00 more coud get a new tire They should lower their prices if they want more business.

Been there several times and ALWAYS gotten great service and good prices on the tires from them ... Once again, great service and great prices. I went to get 2 tires, and I paid only SLIGHTLY more than I was charged for a patch of my tire that was guaranteed to NOT hold by the person who did the work. That place was on Detroit Ave and named the same thing Detroit tire.

Fast easy and affordable I waited 2 seconds n he was already fixing my tires :) man so nice people here are down to earth and nice. :) So I posted this six months ago and I'd like to report that I still have my same tires I purchased at poor man's. So yep my tires are great. Also they are not chit chatty people. So if your a chatter box don't expect chatting and don't get disappointed. It's literally a place to get good service quick and go home :):)

I find these men very trustworthy. I find them to be a blessing. They truly do the best they can at a very reasonable price. I have did business with them on several occasions. If there ends up being a small problem with anything just go back and let them know. They will gladly make it right.

I picked up 4 tires for my F250 and needed them installed and balanced. Was recommended to stop here. Guys were great, price to swap my tires was great too. Will be going back.Others I noticed complaining about the tires, if you buy used tires your taking a risk. No guarantees, unless you buy new. Will be back.

Have a nail or screw in your tire? They got ya covered. Can't afford new tires? They got ya with some decent ,used tires. The fellas are extremely helpful.

If you need anything tire related, and you don't have "new tire" money, this is your place. Some of the best, honest, most helpful techs I've met, and I used to manage a Midas! Cheap price, up front fees, they clean the rim and ensure a good seal (which even the expensive shops in the area struggle with) AND they even balance it before re-installing. I've even had them talk me out of a $40 tire for a $5 balance, and it worked.. not many places will turn down a sale in hand for integrity. I could go on and on, but for years this has been the go-to spot for my family, and it will be for as long as they are open without question.

Always really knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They always have good used tires at affordable prices. We have supported the business on and off for 20 years and will continue to do so. AND they have Saturday hours!

Went to get my new tires put on my van and asked them to balance all 4. And I paid for it and they never balanced my tires all my old weights are still on there, no new ones at all. And I'm a mechanic and my friend works at a shop. Yall got me all messed up taking people's money for work yall ain't even do. I will never send anyone there so if yall want a good place to balance tires go to bayshore auto care in Oregon! They will take better care of you and be 10xs faster and won't screw you over! I'm so mad I spent money on something this place didn't even do.

I have used this place many times over the years. I went back today and to be honest it will be my last time. I wanted a balance, rotation and pressure test. I felt more like an inconvenience than a customer. Rotation was not done properly, no balancing and they just didn't pay attention to anything I had said. Even if it didn't need balancing, it's still money in your pocket to do it as requested by a paying customer.For reference, rotation is done this way, not just moving the rear tires forward:Front-wheel drive : fronts go to the back on the same side, the rears "crossed to the front positions".Balancing should also be done roughly every 10,000 miles, I am 50,000 miles overdue. I don't even work in a tire shop and know this stuff.Really disappointed, this place used to be great. I would and did go out of my way to give them my money. I don't have time to waste. I have a tire shop right down the road from me. But I prefer to give my money to local small businesses.First time ever I have left disappointed and feeling cheated. Now I will have to pay someone else to do the same job properly and finish the job I requested. I did leave a fat tip just to say goodbye.

Went over there today, needing to get one before going to work when the snow starts. They were busy when I was there but super efficient! The man that I saw doing most of them was just going car to car back to back and fast at it too! I super appreciate your services before this snow hits hard! Thank you, thank you!

the people here are great. took my good truck in one day and they found something I missed and needed 2 on the front RIGHT NOW! great price on those. took the work car in the next day for a set of 4 used and the car rides much better now! great customer service people! maybe some of these other shops should take lessons on customer care!

Guys do a good job but i had a problem with the fact my tire had 6 nails in it and he repeatedly tried to coerce my into pulling the nails and plugging it rather than give me a new tire. You should not have to haggle for service you are paying for and already decided upon.

Referred by Dane's Garage which is the only place I go to get my ride fixed and this place was just great like all the other places he has sent me if, he knows they can do it better or faster. Cash only, no computers but the tires look great and I feel much safer in my ride now. Life's good:)

Quoted for a 32.00 tire, asked if I wanted a better one at 37.00 decided to go with better. Then asked it's another 3.00 for disposal. I opted against, since a brand new one is only 60.00. No, biggie, I'll find a responsible way to dispose. Other than that, service was fast and the guy was polite.

Great cheap professional service. I drove away from there a satisfied customer. Just an FYI. Although I was embarrassed to ask because the bill was so small, I didn't think to stop for cash and at least for a $15 tire repair they didn't take plastic. Worth the walk up the street to the convenience store ATM and back.

I was told of this east side location from people here in West Toledo and needing tires very badly, I made the trip over - man, I am so glad I did !!!I walked in, told them what tires I needed and in 30-45 minutes, had me a set of quality used tires. I am happy to have found this place...If you need tires, go to this place. Even though they are a cash only business, go see them for quality used tires. So Very Highly Recommended !!

Went to Poor Mans to mount and swap 4 tires. Even though they were pretty busy I still managed to get in and out in a fairly quick time. Swapped the four tires and disposed of the old ones and still spent about 40 - 50% less than other shops

Great place for used tires. They have always had the tires I need and are always like new and great shape. They get you in and out as fast as they can so your not waiting long. I have been going there for years and will continue to. Great prices to
