I've been taking my cars to Ryan for years, (he was the only mechanic that has worked on my vehicles for the past few years) this last visit to replace all ball joints, control arms, and tie rods was a nightmare. During the install my vehicle was damaged on the frame so bad that nobody would align the vehicle. When I called Ryan he told me it had been aligned before and I should get it aligned at another shop. I was turned down by 4 alignment shops, all saying the same thing. (An air hammer was used to remove the control arms) and had to search for someone to fix it the holes in my frame, I took me almost a week to find someone that would fix my vehicle. After a total cost of $4000 between the replacement of parts and to fix the damage during install. I will never have my vehicles at this establishment again. He took zero accountability, he didn't even offer to look at the vehicle nor fix it. He basically said this isn't my problem. Thought about taking him to court, but it would just be a waste of time. Most of all it is very disappointing to lose what I thought was a reliable mechanic.

A true Toledo gem. Thousands of miles into my current trip, my Toyota Sienna's AC stopped working and its light began flashing on my control panel, paired with a nasty belt noise. I walked in unannounced to Ryan's shop in the morning, and he saw to it immediately. He had the needed compressor delivered at 2pm, and got my three rescue dogs and me back on our cross-country trip comfortably with same-day service. The best parts were: 1. being charged *68% less* than when I had the same repair done on my old Odyssey at a different mechanic elsewhere; 2. learning all about his three family dogs and their cat from his sweet wife.

WARNING DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!So I dropped my car off 3 weeks ago at the shop can you change the clutch in my car once it got done he said it was fixed it was still rattling down on the throwout bearing come find out that the flex wheel starter ring was not correct so I went out of my way and bought another part sent it to a shop he fixed it so this is the second time I went to leave his shop clutching fine got about a block down the road and the sputtering begin to start again which was told to be fixed the first time so then I call him back and tell him my car is shut down the road that he didn't fix it so he said leave it there he goes down trees to start it drives into parking lots closer to the shop leaves it there overnight tells me I have to figure it out and then tells me that the gas tank's bad fuel pump is bad and the battery is bad """warning do not take your vehicle here"""""

He s the worst mechanic in Toledo. DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! I wouldn t bring a bicycle here. My dad brought his car in. This dude text him and said it s done two times and both times it s been worse than it was when we dropped it off. Now we gotta go pick are car up two blocks down cuz he left it there!! He s a POS.

This is the worst mechanic in Toledo I wouldn't take my kids bicycle there he said he fixed my car it was there for 3 weeks picked it up twice had to leave it in the parking lot once now it's sitting down the road and another parking lot Walgreens and he's telling me that he fixed it I drove the car there and have to have it towed back ... And yet still trying to talk hisself out of the work he did but he did get paid and I have to tow vehicle home.. worthless junk selfishneoss shopAnd I'm sure he will have excuses beyond excuses we have text that says it was fixed first and second time come get it it's done and now it's a block down the road so you put whatever you want together on his boss here it needs a fuel tank but first it was fixed now it needs a fuel tank and a fuel pump a block away

Car broke down at wernerts corners. Charged battery and to it to over the top. Paid for new altimator and they Replaced Gasket for oil leak.But didn t check battery or oil.Car stalled out next day and took it immediately back to over the top. I told them to change the oil. They said it was very low. You think they would have added or changed it. Took car home it started to stall out again stalled out got a charge from mechanic. Second day degrease engine.and oil change. But didn t the battery while they had the car and common sense would have told them to check battery if the alternator went Paid cash $1143 for the two days. They didn t get to it for three days. Told someone that I wanted it to be checked out because my young grandchildren ride. They said they were a father and perfectly understood.She call AAA and they that the battery was shot. Replaced the battery with a new one and two wires were hanging and they fix them for her car is running perfectly now My concerns them

Do not take your car to this swindler. He overcharged me for the 'work' he did, and the car still was not fixed correctly. He swindled me out of $150 for 20 minutes of labor, which is ridiculous! He also NEVER put in new parts.He claimed he re-wired my car, but he only hot wired it to my fuse box to make the check engine light go out. I drove 20 minutes after he swindled me, and the light came on again, and the car stalled, and was running terrible. I took it back to him the second time, and the job he did was just as bad or worse than the first!My car ran more smoothly when the check engine light was on, but when he claimed he fixed it, my car ran rougher and kept stalling. He wanted me to bring the car back, again, but I do not trust this guy. He probably was going to sabotage something else, then claim he did not do it, to swindle me out of more money.I told numerous people about this guy, and I always tip him when he does my work, but he doesn't care about my good deeds. He is not to be trusted, and DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS GUY!!! His name is ryan.R. ScottService: Electrical repair

I have a hard time trusting mechanics to be honest. Alot of shops will make up things wrong to get your money.The first time i took my vehicle to Ryan i knew i could trust him.His prices are fare and he does great work in less the time others take.Ryan has done all of my suspension and has backed up his work fully. I take my vehicle to him for everything and i refer my friends/family. It needs work quiet often and i have nothing bad to say.Congratulations on the new location!

I had been to several shops the last few months quite a few times (10+ ) for an air conditioning issue in my 2010 traverse. I had all my components to the a/c replaced(twice at the same shop) and still no air. I put out a lot of money for no solution. The last shop I took it to told me to replace my whole a/c unit again and that I needed a new engine. I took it to Over the top Auto Repair and within a day I had all my air working, no engine needed. Ryan did an amazing job and was very pleasant, professional and thorough. Ryan took the time to go through everything and explain and document all of his findings and what was needed. Over the top auto repair is very honest and professional and I highly recommend them to all. I called last minute on a Saturday morning because my car was making a weird grinding sound and started stalling out. Ryan was able to diagnose and fix my problem within an hour or so! I was prepared for the worst since it was such a last minute request, but the price was much lower than I was expecting! I would definitely recommend his services.

A couple of days before I had to go out of town for a job, a huge construction truck blindsided me and took out both drivers side doors. The driver door window was shattered and was unable to even close it. In a day Ryan found two doors and replaced them both for a very reasonable price. Ryan has always been fast, good, and honest. I live almost and hour away and I bring all of my work to Ryan. Enough said.Services: Auto body & trim repair, Auto maintenance

Don't let the picture of the shop on top of the page fool you. This guy works out of his home Garage in a residential neighborhood. The guy seems knowledgeable, but in retrospect not so much. I made an appointment for 10 a.m. only to have it changed till later in the afternoon. Wasted two hours of my time. Wanted to have my exhaust repaired and had the parts. Also wanted to have an overheating problem addressed. Spent over an hour trying to look for the overheat problem. Then he told me in his opinion it was a bad water pump, which I just had replaced two years ago. Turns out that was a bogus diagnosis. It was actually just air in the system, which I bled out the next morning and everything is fine. He was supposed to weld in a new flex pipe, but he said my new part didn't fit. Total BS! Took it to Mytee Muffler the next day and they welded it right in. Don't waste your time with this guy. Doesn't know what he's talking about and wastes your time. Grade= F.

There couldn't be a worse place to go. He messed up my son's car royally. And by he I me as n Ryan Hill. My son took him to court and was awarded $2000. Of course as yet the very incapable (mechanic) hasn't paid a dime. That will be fixed.
