Had an extension housing done on a 2007 chevy 2500hd duramax and 2-3 weeks later the transmission locked up truck won t move turn out he didn t put a bearing in correctly or something and it s screwed stay away from this guy he will give you the run around for 2 weeks straight while your vehicle is siting at his shop

Update: the transmission held up great a year and several thousand miles later until we sold the truck. It handled towing a large uhaul trailer cross country, and several other towing trips without issue. Shifted better than ever until the day I sold it. However, I did find out that the rear main seal (which is exposed when pulling a transmission) began to leak literally the day I sold it, came home to a puddle of oil where it had been parked. I can t say for sure if they replaced it wrong - it s an older truck and I was using high mileage oils which swell seals to reduce leaks. So it could be from age, bad oil, bad luck, or a bad install and I can t say for sure. Still, i had a good experience and trust that if i was still local they would have taken a look at it.Jeremey and John were awesome. They were able to give me a estimate for my vehicle over the phone that was pretty accurate. It was half the cost of the dealer quote, with a comparable warranty to boot.My 2006 GMC truck was done a week early - they work on so many of their transmissions that they even had the parts on hand. They even put in a few upgrades to prevent any more issues down the line and no additional cost.Don t be put off by the shade-tree-mechanic look of their shop when you pull in - these guys know their stuff and are super passionate about their work.

Jeremy is an awesome guy. He took on a project no one else would touch. I ve stayed around the shop as he s built transmissions for various types of vehicles. He s reliable, courteous, and meticulous when it comes to working with customers and taking care of their vehicles and needs. I m currently having him work on my 2001 Tahoe which needs a new rear end. His timing is on key and his work is impeccable.

Maximum Overdrive has taken very good care of my truck. I have a 98 Dodge Ram 1500 that was having the case of Dodges with the transmission. I took it to Jeremy for a diagnosis into what was happening with this. He spent at least an hour providing a full diagnosis for the trans. Unfortunately it did need a full rebuild, but I trusted this as this truck was hesitated every time I got on it. I got a phone call 3 days later being told that the install was complete. Jeremy was very honest and even showed me all the parts that were causing the issue. I asked him for this build if there was anyway to upgrade so I could tow a load better and get a little better gas mileage. Jeremy did just that. I was shown the difference in the upgrades and how they work to improve towing capacity and hold with the gears. Immediately I went out to see how this towing upgrade would help with a big load. I went and picked up a 9000 pound load and this truck pulled this flawlessly in Overdrive even. The warranty is the best I have found in town and Jeremy was the lowest price I could find for what I wanted the truck to do. I would never hesitate to brink my truck back. This build was absolutely better than the last build I had done just 5 years before this at a competitor. I have put about 3000 miles on this so far and I absolutely love the way it shifts, and the way it can handle such a big load with no hesitation. I even get about 2-3 mpg better on an average. I would highly recommend anyone who needs transmission work to go see Jeremy for honesty and the best pricing in town.

I brought my hummer in after being told that it would cost a few thousand after to different estimates at other local shops. I let Jeremy take a look at it. He estimated $700 -$800 for repairs. After starting the work I received a phone call from Jeremy that the cost had been reduced to $500 - $600. After picking up my vehicle the final cost was $580.00. There was a minor issue with the repairs and i got a hold of Jeremy the next day he told me to bring my vehicle up and he fixed it in 10 minutes. I would suggest this shop to everyone! He was honest and thats hard to find these days.

Paid to have a transmission rebuilt 03/31/2022. It is now 05/18/2022 and the transmission is not done. The owner, Jeremy, will not answer his phone or messages. No one at the place of business either. I am out $1000.00. Next step is to notify the police, file a report, and take him to court if he can not give us a call back.

Owner Jeremy is honest, knowledgeable and gets the repairs done as fast as possible. Had a truck dump a bunch of fluid out of the transmission. Took it there and he had the thing done in 1 day. Showed me the cracked housing and charged a fair price. Ill go there again. - Paul

Very bad experience.Guaranteed me their build would work great with my car. Needless to say they had my trans 4 different times and I even took them my car and they still couldn't fix it.had my transmission and car for almost 9 months. I asked for a refund and they hung up on me. Before you go here google Jeremy Goldthwaite he is the owner and a felon for selling stolen trailers on eBay. He also got in trouble for illegally u storing tires and destroying the environment. This place is a dump and they do not charge the correct tax to try and make your bill smaller. They need audited. Make sure and check the BBB also because he has screwed alot of people over. DO NOT GO HERE HE WILL LIE AND CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

The worst car experience I've ever had! I gave Jeremy $1,000.00 dollars deposit on May 14th, 2018 to fix a transmission on my daughter 2011 Chevy Cruze. Numerous times Jeremy gave me excuses about the place he was getting his parts from. Then he was going to get the parts from a different place. Then it was UPS or whoever was suppose to deliver the parts. One of the excuses he gave me for not having the vehicle done was because his wife said it was his turn to go feed the horses...Really! Finally on July 22, 2018 I had a tow truck take the vehicle to Express Transmission. Today July 25, 2018 Express Transmission is finished fixing the 2011 Chevy Cruze. Now Jeremy from Maximum Overdrive does not want to give me my deposit back. He wants to give me credit for work if I need something done...Why in the world would I take any of my vehicles to him. Express Transmission used a different unit because of their warranty. I want my money so I'll have to take Jeremy to court. He's talking about the money he put into the vehicle...How about you give me the money for a rental vehicle for 10 weeks. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE to Maximum Overdrive!

Avoid this shop like the plague. Revers went out on the transmission of my Ford Explorer, so I took it to Jeremy. I was given an estimate and told it would be a week or so. 2 months and many phone calls later I finally get my truck back, albeit several hundred dollars more than the estimate. Within days my transmission is slipping like crazy, so I take it back. Again, it takes 2 months and countless broken promises later and I get it back. Then it starts slipping again and being difficult to get into reverse, so I take it back and endure yet another 2 months of "Im pulling it in this afternoon and I will call you tomorrow" stories, To which point I finally had to go buy another vehicle to get back and forth from work as he has had my truck 6 months out of the last year to do a 1 week job.So Today I finally said the hell with it and went and got my Explorer back, unfixed as it had become clear as my truck sat there for yet another 2 months that he had no intention of fixing it. I left a negative review on their facebook page, which of course was promptly deleted and Jeremy leaves me voice mail telling me that its the pump thats bad, he did not replace it when he rebuilt my transmission(,Mind you I paid for a completely rebuilt transmission initially, not a "fixed" transmission, not a "patched up" transmission but a completely rebuilt one} but he would go halves on parts and labor to fix it.Jeremy, you had my truck 6 months out of the last year, I paid you several hundred dollars over your initial estimate, and you have had 3 tries at fixing it correctly. what part of this do you not understand? 6 months and 3 tries is not acceptable to do a 10 hour job in any business.

Stay away from this place of you want peace of mind. The workmanship can not be trusted and you will be purposely avoided when addressing problems. Took my car to the dealer after been given the run around at Maximum Overdrive and I could not believe what I was shown. My attorney has the pictures and Jeremy will be contacted. Like I said, stay away from place.

Absolutely trash company, stay far away. Takes your deposit and it goes in his pocket while you sit and wait for a vehicle for months to get done with nothing getting done at all. Don t pay his employees, don t pay anything, has several eviction notices yearly, has multiple customers a year with lawsuits against him because he takes peoples money and runs and never does any work,

Well they didn't tell me it was going to be several weeks I just dropped my transmission off and I've been waiting 6weeks now so if you're in a hurry don't take it there I heard their work is great but don't take it there if you need your vehicle

Jeremy rebuilt 2 transmissions for me. He did a quality job on my 4L60e. I performed the R & R in Texas and this rebuild performs perfectly. Thank you, Jeremy.

Brought my transmission in to be rebuilt. They said they rebuilt the transmission had my mechanic reinstall the transmission had no problems there but when started the car out in Drive the transmission started to spray all over the place there was a side plate they never changed the seals like a rebuilt should. I ve called and had several text with them and after 3 weeks my transmission still isn t fixed.

Had my Impala transmission rebuilt and brake lines repaired here. Good work can come out of here. Just a 1 man operation so not as fast as some would like

Took my 1998 Dodge Durango to AAA because it would not start. AAA diagnosed the problem and said, I needed a battery and alternator. Costs $620. Took it to Jeremy, he diagnosed it and all it needed was a battery. Costs $100. Highly recommend this place.

Today I called this shop and I live in Michigan because I have been have a super weird transmission issue that no one could figure out. He diagnosed the problem over the phone with me twice and I now have a running DRIVING truck. Thank you so much for your time and I hope to get to meet you guys.

Was good but they did not stand behind there work and did not have time to look at what they did wrong Did not get us in for 1 and half months.Then said it was our fault.and made us pay more.I could not drive my car all that time
