Absolute awesome experience. My cashier/ Kristian made my visit very pleasant and was extremely professional and very helpful. It's so nice to walk into a building and have pleasant people. I think he likes his job. Great guy. Great experience. Got everything I needed. Thank you so much! We'll see you soon. Hopefully not too soon

Buyer Beware! Do not trust the return policy listed on the forms at Summit. I purchased running boards for my truck and upon returning them I was accosted by the employee at the returns counter, Ian. He told me he was going to charge me a 10% restocking fee because there was dirt on the nerf bars, no damage .dirt. I told him it s within the 90 day 0% restocking fee and return policy and that was unacceptable. He went and talked to his manager, Doug, and then came back and said he was charging us a now 20% restocking fee. I told him it was ridiculous and can t believe how poorly Summit handles their returns. I told my girlfriend I won t buy from here again with this treatment, to which Ian respond, good, don t come back . We were shocked. I asked for a manager, Doug comes out. He was beyond rude, made it clear he didn t want to help us, he would lose money on the item since it was no longer new ..well yeah Doug it s being returned?? Unreal. He wanted to charge a 25% restocking fee and I told him Ian initially said 10%. He called Ian over and became furious when Ian confirmed he did say 10% initially and Doug now had to honor this, making it like he was doing us a massive favor. In this retail climate and the competition being so intense that loyalty to companies like this are important and excellent customer service focus is the driver to keep a consumers coming back. Safe to say I will not return and I will be sharing that sentiment with many family and friends.

Love summit racing as I've used them almost exclusively for 30 years. On a work trip I was able to stop by and window shop. Took some photos of the store while I was there. Cool thing to know is they have a clearance area for returned, usable parts that are complete and serviceable. Would be awesome to live nearby and pick up something wanted or needed at a heavily discounted "demo" price. The real adult "toy store".

IF you want GOOD customer service. Elizabeth, has offer to stay on track with my order and to even call me before she leaves the office to make sure I m aware of my package/ with understanding I m in a hurry to get them. Let alone the sales rep, ferris, gave me good advice and reviews on his personal experience with different brands. Highly Recommend! Best pricing around IMO

I've been a customer for years and have had great success with getting questions answered, tips suggested, and parts ordering.The staff has sways been very kind, patient, and professional. They are just spot on.They often have clearance items in the back and great displays. It is truly eye candy for mechanics, custom builders, and home garage monkeys.I'm very blessed to have such a wonderful parts warehouse chock full of all sorts of custom displays and parts.

Drove roughly 2 hours to get here. I went just for the experience, it's alot easier to order online. It was neat for the kids to see the cars on display. It was very crowded and I never once saw one person clean or wipe anything. Truthfully I don't think one employee was personable. Did the bare minimum. Variety of sizes and selections in the clothing department as well as toys for the kids.

Needed to return a new (Tuff-stuff) FE Ford waterpump that was leaking, they did not give me a full refund because it was painted. So you're not supposed to paint an iron waterpump if you ever expect to return if it's bad? Does not make any sense. Not happy. I sent over an hour trying to get a refund.

Reading through the 1 star comments and there is definitely a problem with orders not be fulfilled and no refund being given. The response from it is we are working on resolving this problem. Well they are clearly not working on the problem because I order rims summit cancels the order and does not give a refund. I order parts and they are not shipped I cancel the order and they do not issue a refund. If they can charge the credit card the second I make an order them they have the ability to refund within seconds of the order being cancelled

Very organized, but the feel of talking to someone at the store that actually knows something about cars is not there at all. If you go online and talk to someone on the phone, then you can talk to someone experienced. The gentleman in Texas that I spoke with on the phone knew his stuff about cars and gave me great advice, but once you go to the store, it's like...did you order online and go there to pick it up. It's a little too automated at the store itself. Clean store and once again very organized! I love the shipping speeds!

Awesome place. There's some really cool cars on display on the show room floor. Lots of available upgrades for whatever vehicle you got discount rack got to love that scratch and dent.

My father and I have been restoring a 77 K10. We have been ordering parts and I must say they have been awesome with shipping. Parts have come as soon as the next day or two at the most. Everything so far has been in stock. They will be getting a lot more of our money with this restoration lol.

ZERO customer service is poor to none. Guy answers phone in another state.lines in all 3 customer ares. Seriously I don't have an hour or better for heater hose and antifreeze. Just a poorly managed store. Never ever going back. Tallmadge store just sucks that's that.

Absoloutely amazing customer service, i ordered 2 separate packages, my cam kit came in a very short amount of time which i was thrilled about! my 2nd kit had 2 delayed parts, the guy on the phone was super friendly and completely understanding of my concerns and helped me to the best of his ability! i will always order from summit from here on, this has been a great experience!

DX Engineering is inside, so is a two-for-one. This trip was for DXE. Considering the sheer volume this business does, the speed and efficiency of the sale and pickup process is amazing. Touring the sales floor is also nice.

Salesman at the store in Akron, Ohio told me I should have my parts in a week at the house. Call a week later and now parts are on back order from manufacturer. Now it's going to be a month. Will not be ordering again any time soon.

Very disappointed in the purchase and delivery of a part that was stated to be in stock, then wasn't in stock. Was supposed to be sent for delivery on the 2nd of November. When it hadn't arrive by the 11th, I had to call, only to find out the part was unavailable. I then had to check again, on the 13th, only to be told it still hadn't shipped. The lack of communication is the worse and the publishing of available parts when they aren't available only ties up my money for what will be 3 weeks now. This isn't how one should run their business. I had to cancel the order.

The online experience is pretty good not a problem but getting hold of the store on the weekends is almost impossible as they don't answer the phone it's all automated so you have to almost forget about doing anything that requires communication on the weekends. Except sales and leave it to weekdays the curbside pickup was simple enough you call the posted number on the sign , verify Who You Are and they bring it out I ordered a hood and some Wheels it was a simple experience for that.

Most absurd customer service/horrible management with taking care of someone that pays big money for parts.Purchased something with missing pieces and was offered a discount on the missing parts instead of making it right. Multi-million dollar company that is all about chasing a buck & that is not a way to handle business.

After sitting on the phone for 45 min. With sales rep. And giving Vin. Number and model of car. They sent the wrong cam its costing me $2000.00 to get it swapped out. just make sure you're getting the right parts before you startThe project. Thanks
