Great experience. My mom called in to have a tire checked, and it was really easy to work with the service team and staff. They were very accommodating as I had to pick up vehicle a few days later after hours. Luckily they were able to repair not replace the tire and so far so good, thank you !

On our way home from Chicago, I suffered a flat tire on I-480 on 12/27/2024. I originally stopped at National Tire & Battery, but they told me they couldn't patch the tire because of "Company Rules". They didn't even have my tire size in stock. They suggested Van's.With the wife and dog in the fully packed car we headed to Van's. They got the car in right away. Let our dog hangout in the customer waiting area. After chatting, with I assume the owner, She told me there are three tire warehouse's within 30 minutes of the shop and they would have found me the correct size tire for my Chrysler 300.Since the tire had 7/32" of tread left on it they patched it for $26.70 and sent us on our way. It's great to deal with mom & pop shops that actually go the extra mile for a nobody from out-of-town than a NATIONAL chain that has it rules and regulations.5-Stars all around!

Visited this morning after having issues with a noise coming from our tires. (A dealership just serviced the vehicle the previous day with an oil change and rotating the tires). Karen and the guys were exceptional immediately offering to help. After looking over the vehicle, it was found that the prior day service by a dealership was the issue. When they rotated the tires, they did not tighten the lug nuts. These tires could have fallen off, causing a serious accident. Thankfully, my husband turned around before going any further when he realized something was wrong. Not at all happy with the dealership that did the tire rotation (actually went directly their after visiting with Van's). Karen is always so friendly, knowledgeable, and offers exceptional service. Highly recommend them.

I called about a alignment I had done 3 weeks ago saying I have a a shake in the front end, was scheduled to get balanced tires and a alignment check, The lady Karen on the phone calls me back saying how they can t do any work or even check the alignment since the clock spring was bad and them knowing it was going to be fixed afterwards. Which I was alittle upset since it was 120$ but matter of the fact she started going off on me cussing and being COMPLETELY unprofessional (i m 17 years old). I ve always had good experiences with discount tire and Conrad s and has always done the work without a complaint.

Brought my tire after running over an Allen wrench in the road. They were able to repair my tire and have me on my way in a little over 30 minutes. Very friendly staff. While I usually get my routine service at the dealership I bought it at for continuity, I would have no problems bringing it back if I ever need service again. Extremely satisfied with my experience. Thank you.

They did a nice job communicating with me on the repair. My problem is with honoring an appointment time and their questionable billing. Last two times my car didn't go in until an hour after my scheduled time. Plus I was overcharged both times. They took it off after I questioned it, which wasn't a problem. I just wonder how many times people are over charged because they don't look at the bill.

The staff is excellent, as well as their service. They worked with me and saved me hundreds of dollars on a new exhaust system. I will never go anywhere else for my auto needs. I ve been coming here for awhile for my oil changes and other maintenance needs, I am so grateful to have found such a fair and wonderful crew!

Ended up with a nail in the tire today, pulled in with no prior notification, never been here in the past. My car was taken back within 5 minutes and completed within an hour of showing up. The lady up front was great and I will be returning (hopefully not soon lol).

I got the impression that my business wasn't really wanted, considering that I had asked about getting a brake estimate, which never came to pass, and mentioned my style of driving incorporates shortstops and hard braking. I was looking for parts that would match that style and I got a short perfunctionary response to my question which felt to me that was being brushed off. When my car was finished up having four tires and a four wheel alignment done, I had asked the gentleman how bad the alignment was out, especially the rear camber was really off but he just kind of mumbled a few words and then didn't even offer me the print out that the alignment machine spit out. All in all I got the overall impression that my business was not wanted or needed there. As for the quality of the work , no mention of the condition of my brakes was relayed to me and the very next day my rear brakes started grinding metal and metal and I would think with them being that bad that's a huge safety issue that should have been mentioned at the time but wasn't.

A huge thank you to Karen who went above and beyond to help get our tire fixed. We were stranded from out of town thanks to the infamous Cleveland potholes and Karen not only tracked down the exact tire we needed and had it picked up, but she took care of all of our paperwork for our insurance claim. What had been an exhausting experience ended on a huge high note thanks to Karen's kindness and utmost professionalism.

Things started off well on my first several visits for small items but as soon as you trust them they will in with the scare tactics (fix this or you'll break down, struts are shot replace them now or you'll be sorry) Second and third opinions all found that the items listed as needing replaced were completely fine. I wont ever return nor will my family.

Bad service!!! Told them I wanted a full check of whole car and to check everything. I also told them I think theres something wrong with the brakes and I'm not sure what because I don't know much about cars. They did work on it fixed front brakes and something else and said everything else looked good. So I left. Well not even 2 hours later the brakes went out! I thought they fixed them and did a full check on car, come to find out the brake lines were rotted! How do you miss rotting brake lines if for one I told them something was wrong with the brakes, thinking they would check everything that had to do with the brakes and for two I told them to check everything on the car and to make sure nothing else needed fixed because I need my car to be safe. I'm 8 months pregnant and this is just bullshit. I'm sorry but rotting break lines don't just happen over night, you would think they would have noticed them! Will not being going back there!!

They are excellent in the quality of customer service and they are very fair when it comes to price and service. They go above and beyond to get you in and out. I have been doing business with them since the mid nineties and have never went anywhere else.

Took my 4K wheels and eagle f1 s to get mounted and balanced. First they mounted the tires backwards. That s ok, people make mistakes. Took them back to have them re mounted and they destroyed the new color matched finish. Thanks again

Find another repair shop!I took my car into this shop back in March 2014 to fix a bent rim and flat tire. While it was there they also said I should replace my struts because they were blown out. I figured why not and the team there seemed knowledgeable and friendly. I picked up my car that afternoon and noticed right away that there was a rattling coming from the rear tires. I took my car back the next day and told them that the car was rattling over bumps and it did not do this before they worked on my car. After about an hour of waiting the pulled my car in and looked it over, I was then told that the rattling was no big deal and was being caused by a missing pad of sorts. I proceeded to ask them why new struts don't come with this pad to stop the rattling and was told it just is not part of the strut kit used. They offered to install this pad to stop the noise and said they would not charge labor. Well turns out that this pad was $400!!! and that was with "free" labor. I decided not to spend the money because the team there assured me it would not cause any major problems. Lets fast forward to today when I took my car to my normal repair shop for an oil change. I asked them to check the rattling noise and confirm if it was no big deal or if it needed to be fixed. About 30mins later I get a call letting me know that my car is finished and the rattling noise is gone. All that needed to be done was the struts needed to be tightened. I was only charged for the oil change they tightened the struts for free. I just drove home and no rattling noise. I can't tell you how glad I am that I did not pay $400 for a pad that I did not need. So my advice would be to take you car somewhere where the team knows what they are doing. Van's may be good at changing tires but that is the most anyone should use them for.

These guys do great work and I cannot say enough about Karen who runs the desk... She goes above and beyond for her customers and as I'm waiting I can see that most of her customers know her on a personal level... I will never go to another place to have my car serviced.

This Terrible place doesn't even deserve a star. They left my oil pan bolts finger tight and put my lug nuts on so tight they have to be broke off.. literally broke off. When I called about this problem they told me to go to midas next time. Myself and another guy at a parts store had to help a lady with the same lugnut problem because they told her that she must have had someone work on it after them. If you don't want horrible work at expensive prices and a rude lady with an ego/attitude problem STAY FAR AWAY FROM VANS!

Context: From Dayton but needed a shop immediately. I wanted to quickly look at my steering components. I'm an engineer with regular access to a shop and I do all the work on my cars if I have the time; working with many life-long professional mechanics.Summary: Overall, probably better than NTB but if I lived near I would find another shop. The mechanic was above average in assessment but made mistakes. Lifted at the wrong points without flipping up the extension, thus crushing/scratching the plastic panels near the jack points. He also didn't pay enough attention to my assessment before looking himself. Manager seemed nice at first but would not listen, did not tell me they were going to charge $50 for lifting and looking (I did not ask for a full diagnosis), and eventually became rude when I disagreed with the mechanic. They did not allow me to look myself and insurance was not the mentioned reason; rather, it was a downplay on my ability.Gory details: I had recently replaced literally everything under the front end besides the quick struts, the steering rack, and knuckle due to previous death wobble. Visiting my parents, my dad had trusted this shop and I had been there 8+ years ago so I chose them. I asked if they could jack it up and take a look because I was getting what felt like an imbalanced wheel vibration from the front end but I had just balanced and rotated all four wheels. I asked if I could look and the manager said something like, "Well...No... the mechanic this, the mechanic that. But you can tell him what you think is wrong." I reluctantly agreed and told him everything I replaced and what it probably is (the struts), but I wanted to make sure certain bolts had not worked loose on my drive to Streetsboro because I didn't use thread locker.Long story, after a half hour I realized he was either having trouble finding something real or they were going to charge me for unnecessary diagnosis. Regardless, I decided I would give them a tip for their time. An hour went by and I got the assessment. Lots of things were pointed out, some reasonable, some not, some wrong. Mind you, almost everything was brand new. The thing that made the manager upset was that the mechanic said my new bearing was bad because it was making noise. I told her it was not bad and that the noise was the bent heat shield from when I hydraulic pressed the bearing out. In my honest opinion, I thought that was incredibly obvious. For the mechanically inclined, this is why they get two instead of three stars. Managers are one thing, this could be boarder line crookery if they wanted to replace it for me, but in this case I think it was just slight incompetence. They also said my tires were badly chopped and dry rotten... they're not, just ever so slightly and close to needing replaced. There are a couple other minor mistakes but I'll leave it there. After I heard the $50 charge I did not tip of course.Go here to get your free eCheck.
