TLDR: Go to Ken Ganley in Parma for straight forward pricing and much better experience.Long version: I had been working with a sales rep since late last year and wife and I were between a Palisade for the whole family or an ioniq 6 for just my personal work car. March rolled around and the ioniq 6 had some really attractive lease offers on the Hyundai website. I was interested in the $349 down and $349 a month for the SEL. Went in and was ready to pay taxes and reasonable fees to get that deal. Credit was a little over 700 and I knew there would be your typical tax, "document processing" and other profit fees. I get it, everyone needs to pay the bills. But I was directly told "oh yeah the Hyundai website lies, a lot of customers come in with their hopes up and I have to explain those prices aren't realistic." I ask how close they could get and she brings me a sales sheet that essentially says if I put down around $3k-$4k I would be about $500+ a month. So, not even close. I said no thank you and left. After calling my wife to complain that all dealerships are terrible and they only got bolder post COVID I decide to call around. I called Ken Ganley Hyundai in Parma and Gus the manager answers. I explained everything and he said oh yeah we can honor that deal we just did one of those a couple of days ago for a guest and it was about $2k after taxes and everything and $349 a month. I drove up that same day and purchased with no stress and have been enjoying my ioniq 6 since then! I know my garage is a mess but wanted to prove I have the car if I can save anyone a bad or expensive experience.

This car shopping experience was pleasant and not pushed. I very much appreciated the communication with Chris Stepp, my salesman and the final negotiations with the GM. I believed I was treated honestly and straightforward. After purchase follow up has been positive and helpful.

I didn't end up buying a car from this dealer, but you SHOULD! They're one of the rare dealers these days that do not hide thousands of dollars in fees. What you see is what you pay, plus a small dealer fee ($285 rn) and TTL. THAT'S IT! By the way, Griffin was great to deal with, and for the record, I didn't buy a car from them because my wife got cold feet over the color of the car, sadly.

I am so delighted with my purchase of a new Santa Fe and the excellent service I received at Great Lakes.My sales person was James Hedges..he was so professional, so easy to work with, and so knowledgeable. James did not make me feel pressured ant any time. He offered assistance and provided great information on the car I wanted and made sure I was getting what I wanted. His follow up with me was great.From the beginning with James Hedges Salesperson to Matt Simms, Sales Manager to TJ Klinkowski, Finance Manager and Lucas Rigby in Service Dept my experience was just truly great!By far one of the best experiences I ve had when searching for a car.I HIGHLY recommend this car dealership and definitely my Sales Person James Hedges..you will not be disappointed with him. Found a 2017 Veloster on their website that I liked I called and got a hold of Sandy Atkinson and I am glad I did cuz she was a really good sales lady she didn't pressure me into buying anything I didn't want to like a new car. It was nice to have a relaxed easy transaction pressure free. I'm happy and I feel I got a great deal and I got great service also.. so if I ever in the market for a car again I'll check out great lakes hyundai..

I'm very pleased with my experience and purchase from Great Lakes Hyundai Streetsboro. Since the pandemic hit, I have been looking for a replacement Genesis with all of the bells and whistles and Great Lakes delivered. I am very pleased with my service from the sales floor to the F&I office. My salesman Jim H. went above and beyond to ensure my concerns were addressed and I appreciated the extra effort he provided. This is a very transparent dealership where all of the facts and figures are presented to you upfront, there are no tricky sales practices, or long waiting periods to ice you out. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I will be back for my next vehicle purchase, until then I will enjoy my car!

I requested an online quote for a vehicle, giving relevant details such as range of my credit score, county that I reside, cash down etc. I got over 15 emails over during a two week period inviting me for a test drive, but no quote. I finally called them and scheduled a test drive (called for confirmation about an hour before the test drive). I went there on time and was welcomed to the dealership and offered coffee, which gave a positive first impression. Unfortunately, the positivity ended there. I sat down with the salesman S.J., who was the person I talked to on the phone. After taking all my information, including drivers license, address, phone number etc, he told me that they do not have the car on the lot. I am not sure what they were thinking (possibly that I would take them seriously enough to discuss another car), but they knowingly and intentionally wasted part of day during a very busy period. I just do not see how they can justify knowingly and intentionally wasting peoples time like this. There are better dealers around, I do not recommend wasting your time with Great Lakes Hyundai.

Service here is amazing! Courteous and helpful from the first call. I went in for service on my Hyundai (oil change, alignment, and a broken door latch). There were some miscommunications about my service warranty (from the questionable dealership where I bought the car), we thought the warranty we bought covered everything. The service rep we were working with called them, and thru the heavy, muddled accent learned that they cover nothing. We were stuck with $450 bill for service that was supposed to be covered. Chris and Ryan were so helpful to resolve an issue that wasn't their fault or even under their purvue. And they were understanding, courteous, and helpful through all of it. I thought customer service was dead - these guys went above and beyond. Next time I buy a car, I'm coming here. 5 stars highly recommend.

Sales team: made a great effort in attempt to put me 8k in the hole.Service team: changed my new tires for dry rotting tiresI will not interact with this group again.Won't spend a dime here.It was a fine dealership when Dennis was the name.Great lakes is mooching off Dennis' reputation.Few of the original workers are there still.Not saying to avoid them... but... be extremely cautious when getting your vehicle serviced. Be sure you aren't getting jipped

I had an absolutely amazing buying experience with Kriss Stepp at Hyundai Streetsboro. His level of professionalism and attention to detail was second to none. He thoroughly explained every step of the process along the way and made buying a car easy. Bill the sales manager and Patrick in finance were equally terrific. This is a beautiful dealership with a great inventory and I will definitely come back when I need another vehicle.

I called to inquire for parts prices and it was for mounting brackets for headlights for 2016 Elantra. I was hoping they might have it in stock, so I don't have to buy online and wait for delivery. Well, they said they do have to place a special order and it would cost me $877.62!!! I asked to confirm the number, because I was shocked! I think they are insane. The same part (new) costs $8 on ebay!

I went to Great lakes Hyundai on Saturday December 16th after my car died and after talking with several other dealers. I first called the sales department and I was lucky enough to get Sandy Atkinson. She was great, I had two cars I was interested in and by the time I reached the dealership she had them warm and ready to test drive. The best part was that there was no pressure to buy, she was wonderful just answered my questions. Then after I decided that the Hyundai Pilot was the car for me, I had to work with a finance manager.Then I meet TJ Klinkowicz and again I was pleased because unlike some financial managers he made sure to explain things so that I was able to make smart financial decisions and leave with a great piece of mind.Overall I had a spectacular experience at Great lakes Hyundai they made buying a car fun and hassle free so I would recommend these two at Great lakes Hyundai if you find yourself needing to purchase a vehicle.

We recently leased 2 vehicles from Great Lakes Hyundai. Our salesperson, Sandy Atkinson, was very professional and understood our vehicle needs. Sandy made our experience at Great Lakes Hyundai very positive and was not high pressured in her approach in presenting us with our vehicle options. Sandy was very helpful when demonstrating the technology in our vehicles and she was very patient in doing so. Our Finance manager, TJ Klinkowicz was also very knowledgeable and customer service oriented. The processing of the financing paperwork was performed very efficiently and was completed in a very reasonable timeframe. Considering the positive experience that this dealership and staff provided, we will be repeat customers.

After a very frustrating experience at Germain Hyundai, where I left my car overnight to have two recalls done, and they didn't work on my car at all, I accidentally came to this location for my second appointment. I'm so glad I did! Even though I showed up at the wrong location (ie. no appointment here), Evan got my car right in, and they were able to complete BOTH recalls within two hours! The Germain Hyundai location had called me two days prior and told me they didn't have the parts to do one of the recalls. This location had the part and went above and beyond. The service department here is AWESOME! Skip Germain and bring your vehicle here, instead.

I got my first car from Great Lakes Hyundai, Kriss helped me through the process, he was really kind. Also Kriss kept me very well informed about the history of the car so it wasn't a blind purchase. Tjay also briefed me on warranty and maintenance options, He's a really nice guy! They gave it to the detailer before I took and finally received well cleaned car! I am happy to get a new car from Great Lakes Hyundai.Overall it was excellent experience, the price of the car was reasonable, it was good deal I would say.Thank you Kriss and TJay

Dealt with Aaron McGhee.Went in on a Friday. Test drove a Palisade.The car that I wanted was at their dealership in Columbus. Aaron said he would call Friday night with an update. No call. Spoke to him Saturday, they were waiting for a callback from Columbus. Said he would call me Monday morning. No call. I texted him Monday afternoon. Two hours later he responds with his manager is calling them again. Shared that I wasn t thrilledwith the situation. Tuesday afternoon he asks about a different car interior. I said that s not what we agreed on. Through a text, he tells me that there s nothing really out there and that the car they were supposed to secure for me on Friday was sold on Saturday. I called the dealership for Aaron and no answer. Went back to the receptionist and asked to speak to a manager, they put me in the sales queue annd no answer. Tuesday evening he tells me the second car is secured and they just need to get it up here. I gave him 24 hours to get the car or I was walking and asked him to give me a call that night after he spoke to his manager. Again, no call. Today, I messaged him in the morning. No response for 3 hours for him to tell me he was following up on it and they couldn t give me a car today or tomorrow but said I could get a refund on my deposit or use a loaner car until they got me a car. Went in to get a refund Aaron wasn t there. Another guy helped me. Manager wanted to know what he could do to make it right? Where was he on Monday? Told me the trim package I wanted was limited and not a lot available. Um why did they sell me the car?? Ridiculous. Poor customer service. Lack of communication. Buyer beware.

The car buying experience can be pretty long drawn out and overwhelming, also people looking for a sale to boost their income, nevertheless I didn t feel pressured nor did I feel rushed when coming to Great Lakes Hyundai. Aaron Moore stayed consistent with me answering questions for a week before I actually made the decision to purchase a vehicle. He answered all my questions about the vehicle and about the payments on my car. I couldn t have been more pleased with the service. Mike in Finance was always a big help with breaking down contracts and payment details ! Over all 10/10 highly recommend

I had a great experience at Great Lakes Hyundai in Steetsboro. I dealt with Khristopher Bibey and he was very helpful in helping me find me find my new vehicle. Even after buying the car I found a few issues that is did not see on first inspection. Khristopher and the team rectified the the problem without question and went above and beyond. Khristopher kept great communication the whole time the car was being worked on. It was a very good buying experience and would definitely recommend buying a car Great Lakes Hyundai!

Jim Hedges was my salesman. He was excellent, polite, very knowledgeable of the vehicles on the lot. He listened to me and found the best car possible for me.I also want to say, he is very honest answered all my questions and found the answer if he didn't know it. This was the most pleasant experience I've ever had buying a car!!

I had that engine problem. Where it burned more that what's supposed to. Tried a certain dealership in Cuyahoga Falls and they tried to charge me something that is covered. Took it to here, and it was an easy process thanks to Mark. He walked with me and explained all the steps. I highly suggest coming here. Even though it's a 25min drive for me, this is my place to go.
