Tuffy in Springfield was recommended from a family friend. This is now my second time being here. Both times they did amazing work for a good price. Very honest and professional. I would highly recommend to everyone. This is a place I would be comfortable sending my daughter to. They do not try and take advantage of you or do unnecessary repairs. Thank You. Much appreciated!

I want to give a shout out to Eric and and the entire team at Tuffy. The staff are absolutely amazing not only did they fix my brakes,rotors,and calibers I got a warranty as well!!!!! I can t think Eric enough for making me feel safe in my car again.The only company that will get my business!!!!! If you haven t already please go check them out amazing service!!!!!!

Amazing service. Car was making a sound that made me uncomfortable (and being 800 miles from home, called this service center and was seen within minutes. They throughly inspected the car even though they found nothing wrong (better safe than sorry). I really appreciate them taking the time. Fast, courteous service, I highly recommend them.

Today was my first time going to tuffys. My best friend suggested it and I just wanted to go to my usual place. IM SO THANKFUL I WENT. they got our cars done so fast! They even put air in my tire when I didn't ask or anything. They seen something was wrong and didn't take more than 2 minutes to fix and they did exactly that. They were so kind and with me working all week with 10 hour shifts I had today off only and they made sure it was a good one. THANKS GUYS!!Service: Auto maintenance

It says they are open on Saturday from 8 to 2. I have been sitting in the cold since 8 AM no one is still here. Are you guys not open on Saturdays?

Just had our car repaired. The folks at Tuffy did a great job. They kept me updated and worked with my warranty company. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely go back for any future repairs.

Lots of work done in less than 24 hrs! It cost a pretty penny but, after looking into it some, I realize I got a reasonable price for all of it. I no longer feel like I'm going to break my neck going over the tiniest of bumps! It's a used car but, in these last 2 years this is the best it's ever felt to drive! I'm honestly just glad I've finally found somewhere nearby I can trust to take my car when it starts acting up. Thank you to everyone at Tuffy!

I wish I could give 10 stars. This place is very quick and accommodating. I went for an estimate on an exhaust repair. The service tech assisted me in selecting the right parts and saved me close to half when compared to other shops. Car is nice and quiet now and running great! Joe and his team really helped us out. My husband and I were on our way to vacation and just heard a noise in the engine. Got off the highway and found this place after several failed attempts else where. Joe and his team got us in and out with an alternator replacement in 1.5 hours. And we made it to our destination with no issues! Grateful to his team for their quick and quality work as well as the reasonable pricing! Would recommend to anyone- especially Springfeild residence!

We were from out of town and our vehicle would not start at our hotel. We found this place via Google and gave them a call. They recommended a great towing company and had us back on the road in just a couple hours. Thank you!

every experience I have had at tuffy has been absolutely wonderful. I am always given recommendations on what exactly needs fixed, and the pricing is very reasonable. I am also able to get my vehicles into Tuffy much quicker than other shops. Everyone is very friendly, and i appreciate the time they take to explain my options and fix my cars correctly.

Great Service. Once my vehicle was looked at I got a call telling me what was wrong and how much the price of the parts/labor would cost. Most places don't take that extra moment to tell you before you rack up a bill you can't afford. I was blown away at such great service. I will return whenever I'm in need of a car repair. Thoroughly satisfied customer!!

The hours indicated the place was open until 2:00 on Saturday. I took my car over about 1:00 and the place was closed. I did have my car serviced at Tuffy and they did a fine job on my brakes.

The repairman put on the best brake pads and rotors. Its been 2 weeks. They are completely rusted really bad. How could they be the best. In my opinion. It sucks $700.00 JUST FOUND OUT I COULD HAVE GOTTEN THEM ANOTHER PLACE THAT THEY DONT RUST FIR 400.00 I GUESS WE ARE PAYING HIS RENT. Outstanding! Car had noise and vibration issue. They checked underneath and found nothing. Two servicemen drove the car and suspected a bad bearing in front left wheel. Quoted price of a couple hundred and said it would take about 3 hours. Gave the OK and took a walk downtown. When I returned the serviceman said when he started to take the lug nuts off he discovered they were not on tight! He rotated the front tires and checked all lug nuts. Charge $30.00. They could have changed the bearing but chose honesty and integrity instead. They are now my go to mechanics. NOTE: We could not figure out how the lug nuts came loose. I had the tires rotated by another business about a year ago. If the lug nuts were not tightened then I would have had the problem sooner.

This guys are awesome I m a first time customer and they got my problem fixed on my truck . I had a broken muffler and they got it fixed right away on my truck I m sure coming here again . Way the go guys keep up the good job

Always do wonderful service, give you a fair price, and tell if a problem come up or something else will need replaced. Joe is pretty nice and calm dude to work with, while Eric will tell you straight what your problem is and how to fix it. They even looked at my car when I thought emergency brake wasn't attached after a recent job and told me it needed new cable and that its not something ill need to drive the car. Recommend them both to my father and some of my friends and will continue to do so!

I always have a positive, professional experience. I've never felt taken advantage of and have never been made to feel small due to my lack of car knowledge. Have been taking my car to this Tuffy for 3+ years. Good value. Always recommend.

Good people. Took my car in and the guy took it for a ride and told me exactly what was wrong with it. I couldn't afford to get it repaired right now but I'm happy with how fast it took to tell me what was wrong.

I have been doing business with them for many years, and they have always been very honest and done great work.To the person that said that they broke there bolts, if they broke, it because there was some defect and they wouldn't come out like they should have, and that does not make it their fault. It sounds to me like there is a lot more to the story they left out.As to the person complaining that work was done under their business name, how would they even know your business name unless you told it to them, or unless it was on your vehicle which would make it commercial. They wouldn't have put your other vehicles under the same name unless that was the information you gave them when you got the work done. Otherwise they would have had not way to know that you were associated with that business. A commercial vehicle is going to be used a lot more than a personal one, so it's understandable that it would not have the same warranty.

I've been to these guys a few times very nice people and they know what they are doing they have never let me down so I completely trust them with my car and would refer anybody to them as well. Keep up the good work guys! One satisfied customer!

Thanks for servicing my AC. I was told by the dealership that I had a MAJOR leak and that it would cost me $1600 to fix. I was just going to suffer through the summer with no AC. A friend referred me to you guys and now I have AC and I paid no where near $1600. You guys are my new favorite people!

It's hard to find a good mechanic who has integrity. I was refered to them when my out of state trucks muffler came toppling down busting my brake line and at that point I had no choice but to bring the vehicle to someone else then my normal mechanic from Indiana. These guys have been nothing short of fantastic to both me and my family. I've had 3 interactions with this location in total over the past year and all 3 interactions I was in a position to be screwed over, in all 3 of these interactions the staff remained honest with me and went the extra mile to not only help me out of the jams my vehicle and I was in, but remaining honest with the work they've done and being sure to alert me when things like a suspected ball bearing that needed replaced was simply bad tires (important to note tuffy doesn't sell ties so by doing this he lost a $275 sale).I've found some places that claim to do similar work for cheaper but the flip side is your paying a couple extra buxks for a strong piece of mind. They're worth every penny.

I own a business and had work done on it.When I took my personal truck in they put it under my business name (it was a new exhaust).I called them today to tell them the muffler was bad it had a lifetime warranty.They said it is a commercial truck and only has a year.I told them it is not commercial it is personal it even has personal tags on it. So they got all my vehicles even my wifes under my business.Nice way to get out of a warranty. Rip offs.

I received great customer service here at Tuffy. They thoroughly inspected my a/c cooling system, and provided an accurate diagnosis, along with all of my repair options.
